Hard to say which version is better. The raw cheesiness of the Showa era or the raw cheesiness of Final Wars. Personally, I like both, but for different reasons. Also, I have 2 of my own personal head canons for why Godzilla doesn't have M-Base. They could be completely wrong, but it's just my personal theories. 1. When the Xiliens capture the monsters during their first appearance in Final Wars, they inject the monsters with M-Base. Godzilla is unaffected, because he's currently frozen in ice. 2.Or, as a head canon I just thought of while typing this. Maybe the Xiliens did give him M-Base, but Godzilla's G-Cells recognized it as a threat, and got it out of his body similiar to White Blood Cells when you're sick. Again, these are just theories, and they can be wrong, they're just how I choose to interpret the science behind a giant radioactive dinosaur that fires atomic breath and beats up a 2 tailed, 3 headed, 4 legged dragon from space.
Idea: what if when the last time xiliens arrived on earth and maybe mixbred with humans to create mutants, what if godzilla wasnt godzilla back then? If the xiliens last visited before 1954 which was when godzilla became godzilla, they wouldn't even have been aware he existed, but other kaiju like king ceasar and anguirus would've been much older in comparison so the xiliens noticed them and gave them an m-base
Now, how are the Xiliens going to appear in *MONSTERVERSE* though? And also, it seems that they're already around the present *MONSTERVERSE* Timeline, probably manipulating and the ones who guides *MONARCH* (since the organization's symbol looks like an horizontal X), the United Nation and even possibly *APEX Technologies* too, giving wisdoms and knowledge to the human characters behind the curtains and shadows....
There's a bit in final wars where after the UN agrees to be peaceful with the xiliens The xiliens smile including the later X who kills the leader. I don't think he was smiling because he wanted this but rather he found it amusing considering he calls us domesticated animals so much later. Kind of a fun observation 👽
I always thought that they took over the monsters shortly before there invasion, they also have those big spaceship teleporters, and also i always believed that since godzilla was frozen there was no way of them implanting there m-base into him
The thought of them mating with humans to produce hybrids made me think of The Shape of Water...and GDT did make a kaiju film as well...the dots are connecting.
Oh yea, they definitely made Gigan and Monster X/Kaizer Ghidorah. With Gigan's upgrades coming from their own advancement over the last 12k years. In my view, they likely made or at least modified the other kaiju in past visits whenever they had the chance, with Godzilla and Mothra the only two fully-native Earth kaiju, with the long-game view of controlling them.
Gorath is not the meteorite containing Monster X. Gorath was a holograph, unrelated to Monster X’s casing, which is a separate reference entirely, instead about “The Earth Attack Order: Godzilla vs. Gigan” in which Gigan is encased inside of a diamond for space travel, and King Ghidorah inside of a Meteor. My special edition DVD booklet even list these as separate references. Furthermore, Calamity Star: Gorath is not a meteoroid, but a planet. The meteor casing was only big enough to contain a 120 meter height monster inside of it, nowhere near the size of Gorath (3/4 the size of Earth, with 6,000 times the mass). The only time that the Gōten-gō is hit by Godzilla’s atomic breath in the movie is at the end of the film, and it is grounded out of the sky and catches on fire. And when it is hit by the claw fighters, there is clear visible hull damage. The Gōten-gō is not much stronger than the flying battleships Karyū, Eclair, and Rumbling. It was just that they had a plan and knew to avoid the surprise attack after sabotaging the Xilien conspiracy. And finally, one of the biggest Western Godzilla controversy, the character known in the film as “X” is not Kitamura Kazuki’s antagonist character, who is only known as “Xilien Control Officer”, but X is a cameo by Kitamura’s last film Azumi star Kohashi Kenji, playing himself being interviewed by the film’s director Kitamura Ryūhei (no relation to Kitamura Kazuki) as a Radio DJ. I assume that the English dubbing gets something wrong to cause this controversy, but the Japanese version of the film’s dialogue goes as follows: Kitamura: “So to start our day, let’s have some fun! Our guest today, previously known as Kohashi Kenji…” Kohashi: “X” Kitamura: “X?” Kohashi: “Yes, X” Kitamura: “But really, what is this ‘X’ stuff, Koha-ken?” Kohashi: “Well to sum it up, i go by ‘X’ now, so it’s not Koha-ken anymore. In other words, since today, i have thought of myself more like an Xilien. So i go by ‘X’ to familiarize myself. So it’s a collab across the stars right? Space and Earth…” Kitamura: “Okay… Okay… Okay… you really got your point across, Kenji. I mean you convey your passion perfectly. It suits you, Koha-ken” Kohashi: “That's right”
Cool. Now You should make a vídeo of the top times the Heisei and Millenium eras copied american films. Matrix, Independence Day, Terminator, Indiana Jones, there's even a Lot of Tristar's Godzilla in Godzilla Millenium.
I can't remember which Godzilla movie had these humanoid aliens that had hands that would detach from their arms and grab people. I've seen these hands again in the 80s NES Godzilla game
Will you be doing the alien races from the tie-in films too' such as The Mysterians, the Natals from Battle From Outer Space and the Messiah 13 aliens from War In Space?
This is just a theory but I'm pretty sure the reason for godzilla not having M-base in his DNA is because he is a mutant something that wasn't birth from the natural world as I'm guessing that all of the other kaiju in this universe are just naturally huge creatures while godzilla is the outlier because he was "Made" into a kaiju not born one.... That's my theory anyways
Or maybe due to the movie explanation supplied that because he is underground for 20 years, so has none of the prior contact to Xilien. Godzilla Final Wars - Super Complete Works guide book and my theatrical pamphlet give all of monsters in this film background and confirms they are in fact mutated, most of them anyways.
Whenever I see the Xiliens from Invasion of the Astro Monster, I can't help not hum whip it by Devo. But they're not as insufferable as the spastic over-actor and the "Ekusu" fellow in final wars.

I love how X just kills his leader and takes control and the others Xiliens don't question or show any sign of resistance to this.
King Ghidorah!!
Maybe they were in on it all along.
Perhaps there from the past they escaped their near defeat and returned as the future xilians
cuz he is top of the food chain being a keizer!!
only one in a million chance it happens. the other being ozaki.
Cyclops from Xmen has found his People
Lol

Thank you for including Pluto as a planet! 😊
Then Eri, Orcus and Ceres are planets too! Yay!
Their fashion sense is hilarious
Fr 💀😂😂
7:03 according to the books, the M space hunter nebula created Gigan and the Xilliens simply just bought ownership of him.
Now, how are the Xiliens going to appear in *MONSTERVERSE* though? If they have ever pulled an Alien thing in the Monsterverse? Now, we're doing business!
There's a bit in final wars where after the UN agrees to be peaceful with the xiliens

U need to do the Mysterians and Garagos
Yes my favorite Godzilla aliens and the showa ones are my favorite
I always thought that they took over the monsters shortly before there invasion, they also have those big spaceship teleporters, and also i always believed that since godzilla was frozen there was no way of them implanting there m-base into him
"What do you guys need"
"Water"
"Seriously"
Showa for life. Those Xiliens will always be my favorite non-Kaiju monster from Toho.
Same
The thought of them mating with humans to produce hybrids made me think of The Shape of Water...and GDT did make a kaiju film as well...the dots are connecting.
Oh my goodness I just looked up an article on them today at school how did you know.

"GIGAN!!! Rise!"

2:38 I’m not gonna lie, my whole life I’ve always thought that that guy was just getting an acupuncture treatment. I NEVER knew that they were bolts!!
Old school Xiliens ftw...
The Simeons were the aliens that I'm familiar with, they're badass for making a giant machine copied the King of the Monsters.

Great video Kaiju bro!!!! 😎
Both, both are my favorite
I prefer the showa Xiliens because they have a better backstory.
My headcanon is that when the xillians abducted the kaiju they infused M base into their genes. But they did not abduct Godzilla.
Both are most favourable!
A planet can be a satellite.

I have thought about it, especially with the aliens vibe in Destoroyah!
@@scifiexplained Oh yes, I had forgot about It 😅
I can't remember which Godzilla movie had these humanoid aliens that had hands that would detach from their arms and grab people.
I've seen these hands again in the 80s NES Godzilla game
Wasn't that in one of the 70's Gamera films? I'm thinking of Viras.
Im curious about that one psychic girl in Miki Saegusa might have xilien blood in her🤔
Have a great weekend everyone. ⚡✌️⚡
I like all of them
Will you be doing the alien races from the tie-in films too' such as The Mysterians, the Natals from Battle From Outer Space and the Messiah 13 aliens from War In Space?
yep, I'm going to go back to monsters for a bit, but I plan on covering the Mysterians, Natals, the Futurians, and the Seatopians.
@@scifiexplained hey will u include the futurians? I know they're humans but they essentially play the same role as the classic aliens did.
One of the enemy of the Gransazers Justirisers and Sazer X.
I like that Toho got a white guy speaking english, i always like representation in my Japanese movies.
2004
😎
Odd question to ask but does anyone know what kind of sunglasses the actors that played the xiliens wore mainly the leader from Final Wars?
2 years later and still waiting for the answer
3 years later and still waiting for the answer
Go, if you come up against a hurdle

See like this it more like the seven x beat that kaiju 6:11

Ok Gigan is a cyborg even though in Final wars he looks like a 100% robot.
Thay just made his cybernetics
403 forbidden
What about Seatopia
Not really aliens, but I plan to cover the other races eventually.
