2:31 I used to love playing Go with the owner of a Chinese restaurant around the corner from my apartment building in my 20s. He always won, but I'd get free dinner usually out of it! Awesome game!
Living in Tokyo, the only thing I envy you is the bike infrastructure in Seoul... We are lucky to have Bluelug and a lot of very pasisonate and knowledgeable bike lovers, but the roads....😓 Thank you for your videos. It made me want to ride and I custom ordered a Black Mountain Cycles Monstercross 😊 If you ever are in Tokyo let's have a ride!
Really been loving your videos! I love to bike (just upgraded from my single speed state bike to a REI trail bike) but unfortunately the infrastructure where I live in the US is sort of awful for biking. I want to travel more and do bike packing in the future, maybe Korea one day!
An alphabet absolutely deserves a day off!! 😁 A fair bit of riding on streets among cars on this one. Just out of curiosity, any reason for that? The group you were with? Less cars on a holiday? No bike path infrastructure in that area? That soulraft is beautiful. Definitely interesting to think about how we will think about the bikes we rode in our past in 15, 20, etc years. I'm just happy cycling anything on any surface. Never a bad day or way to be riding. Hope you had a great time with your old mates. Hahaha that fuckin cars at the end of the video 😂
A mix of all of those. We’re all confident riders to ride with traffic, and away from the river bike paths, there isn’t really all that much bike infrastructure in Seoul.
Yeah, it’s disappointing. The cycling infrastructure here is the incredible for leisure cycling. Not for daily life cycling though. People think I’m crazy for using a bike for everything.
I ride a fixed gear, but I’m really not in to the tacky, overbuilt, modern style track frames that much of the scene seem to ride. I get it if you’re riding on the track…But that sort of stuff has no place on the road in my opinion haha. I ride a modern steel frame that’s looks more retro (#steelisreal forever and always), with some modern components. Front brake at least is a must for me too… I’ll never be too cool to think I have to ride brake less (although I know I totally could do so.) You can’t be cool if you’re dead lol.
Drivers love saying how much cyclists hold up traffic, but can we talk about the REAL issue. That being how car drivers not only kill thousands of people a year, but also how they completely ruin your "flow" when you're just trying to have an enjoyable bike ride/commute around town! Said perfectly at the end, "F$#%King CARS." 🤣
"Ah fucking cars" was the perfect finale. A banger as always.
Thanks!🚫🚗
Love the passive aggressive edit compilation of people walking in the bike lane haha
🤙
Thank you, Marcus. Another video that just makes me want to ride.
Go for it!
Absolutely perfect weather. Thanks again for leading a route. See you next year!
Yeah! Let’s get a longer ride in next time!
I own two soulcraft frames. I wish Sean still made them.
Very nice!
It's great how the mountains are already visible from some of the streets in the city. Looking forward to your next video!
Yeah, I thought that was so cool when I first moved here. Mountains everywhere, even in the city.
i think the bikes you ride now are timeless
Me too! I think I’ll still love them in 15 years.

Very cool! I have no idea how to play.
More and more the cycling infrastructures in Seoul amaze me.
Great video as always!
Thank you very much!

Black Mountain Monstercross looks like a great bike. Enjoy!
오 한국에 오셨군요! 안전한 라이딩 되시고 좋은 추억 남기시길 바랍니다 ^^
감사합니다
Oh You visited hongje-artificial fall. I go to that place frequently with my bike. ❤
Very nice place. It’s cool when it freezes over in the winter.
New Probably Riding video, glorious.
🏆
i will always be grateful to you for making me fall in love with bikes. Cheers! 🚲
Happy to hear that!
Great video, the bike paths there are amazing. Looking forward to the mountain ride.
Thanks!
Great to see you!
Hey, thanks!

Coming soon!

@@probablyriding that makes sense. Thanks. Excited for the 40min video now 😬
Doesn't make sense that there isn't more bike infrastructure away from the river however 🤔

That was a lovely cycling interlude to come home too. How much is a cup of coffee in Seoul compared too say london?
Good coffee can be between £2.50-£5.
@@probablyridingcheers for that .
You're just the fucking best
Thanks so much 🙏
Any chance you can post some cycling routes in Seoul? I've just come back and it's a little intimidating! Heading back out there before Christmas.
Or can I stalk you on Strava? 😁
Sorry, I don’t use any tracking apps but maybe I could compile some routes later.
@@probablyriding No problem! Thanks for the reply.

what about the fixed gear boom of the 2020's? 😉
🤷
Does Soulcraft still make bikes?
I don’t think so
@@pedaldriven417 the frame builder stopped doing it around 2017. He now works for white industries.
Why are these people walking in the bike lane? No walking path?
There is a walking path but it is slightly less convenient for them than walking in tue bike path.

Indeed. I still think a nice steel fixed bike is super cool, I just don’t have the knees for it any more.
Too short!
The next one’s over 40 minutes 👍🏻

They take up a lot more space than a bike.
