Component Costs: $1400
G1 Costs: $2300
I guess the case and luggage costs $900
Please show me a build that is $1400 ant is equivalent to this.
pcpartpicker.com/list/zQBFgL
It's $1300 but I added an extra $100 to be conservative.
EDIT: please don't actually build it tho, there are more cheaper and efficient ways to get similar performance.
GuardianLords A MUCH cheaper motherboard, a lesser SSD, no case, no fans, no LEDs, no peripherals, lesser quality PSU. And you chose the cheapest possible mechanical drive, which will probably fail within a year.
Fouad Shadow Way cheaper video card, lesser SSD, shittiest possible mechanical hard drive, no LEDs, no fans, and a lower quality power supply.
Panic Games
I hate having to keyboard warrior and no matter how much sense I type you are still going to try and discredit me but I'll still post:
1. H110 vs Z170 motherboard doesn't matter if the i7 can't overclock anyways, so better go with the cheaper one.
2. Lesser SSD? an 850 EVO? Did I miss the part when Linus said that the build had an 850 Pro in it? or where you referring to the capacity and didn't know that 480/500/512GB SSD capacities are the same, because manufacturers determine what sizes they are and not actual usable capacity.
3. I did say the case and luggage costs $900 dollars so I exclude case and things that would be in the case (LEDs, fans) other wise I could have included an enthoo case that would have the luggage by itself costing $750.
4. Lesser PSU? lesser than 2 laptop PSUs?
5. All mechanical hard drive sucks, its not the cheapest possible, its one of the most common 2TB HDD, now unless Linus said that it had an HGST 2TB or a 2TB WD black, the mechanical will most likely suck equally.
Pre built gaming PC's always have nice cases. They should sell them separately
I think the same as you do. But they need to finish the inside instead of having that stainless steel look.
yeah
To me it looks like a 'look at me I'm a real gamerzzzz with my awesome looking case' case. I feel most cases that are sold now take more and more from that edgy prebuilt design :'(
that case is shit lol its too small to put a proper fucking cpu cooler in it
Guys I meant in general, because the ASUS ROG cases are really nice I would buy on of those
man that thing looks sick. I cant wait to start my first build, thanks for all these tips Linus!
I like going back to these older videos and watching the ones I don't at all remember watching. Cool to look back and see how things have changed in tech and with the channel. This is around the time I moved out of the house and had my first kid. Time makes a wild change lol
No wonder he didn't mention the Price - 2299$!!1 Ok 1080 is pricy, and there's 512 SSD, but Z170 non-K chip for that price? Not going to happen.
It's about 1870$ USD retail, this is including everything including the mech keyboard and mouse,
this is disgusting, i didn't realise the pound was so bad right now. this is legitimately over 2000 GBP on amazon. fuck right off acer
more like $1660 pcpartpicker.com/list/9RYfvV, though there may be a sales tax based on the state
You can easily get Win 10 for 30$ on Kingwin, you have a much better PSU there and periphials can't be really compared by resellers prices, since those included don't worth that much.
Overall it's around 1600$ with LED. Making it 600$(!!!!) more expensive for "pre-built".
The pound isn't that bad it's just greedy companies who won't change their price adequately for each country.
i want linus to give me his tip
omg
ROFL OMG
ROFLMAO OMG
Just the tip?
LMFAO MAN XDDDDDDD
I bought this computer and God, I love it!It is awesome!!!Heavy gaming machine which makes it possible for me to game with ultra graphic at highest level without any lag at all.Gaming has suddenly turned into something really fantastic!
Im sorry, my 600 dollar pc with a athlon x4 950 and 1060 6gb can run almost every game 1080p max settings at 60 fps
I'm just going to go ahead and say this now...CONGRATS ON 3 MILLION!!! I have been watching you for a long time. Keep up the good work and see you at 4 million. :)
non k cpu?
well ok you cant oc with that stock cooler anyway
Or the chipset on the motherboard. If it had a z170 board and a 6700k it would have costed like $2700.
Do you really expect the type of people who buy prebuilt machines care much about overclocking?
I can't imagine they do.
You mean having turbo boost always on, like how setting power management to high performance does...?
The powersupply(s), they are at fault.
+hardy83 I bought a prebuilt pc from bestbuy( it has a 1070 and i7 6700 and it was 1200$ which is basically the same price as if I were to build it with that price. Prebuilt pcs aren't as bad as people say.
Actually, if I can recall correctly, Asus did the "power supply out of the case thing" with their G20 series (end of 2014. or something like that). :)
But I think he was referring to Full Size systems.
Asean12
The first generation of G20 housed desktop components (CPU and GPU) if I'm not wrong
I mean like a full size atx board.
I see, but the thing is that this motherboard in the Acer's G1 effectively isn't a classical ATX nor an mATX motherboard, maybe by its size, but otherwise it's a pretty specific OEM / proprietary part, so I don't think I could call it a "full size system". Nonetheless, both the G1 and G20 are very interesting piece of engineering, and they actually don't differ that much in their size and form.
Yeah, But Considering laptops had already done that like years before. (PSU out of he computer itself). I'm wondering why PC manufacturers haven't done it.
8,000 more subs till 3,000,000!!! I subed around 1,000,000 and its cool to see the channel grow
Very cool integration of external power! I agree with Linus's idea for small form factor power!!!
Pre-built?
How dare you?
#Blasphemy
"Blasphemy"
milk
ibuypower is probably the only company that offers cheap, good pre-built pc's.
Linus is just trying to appeal to all taste.
+UDAY GOEL pfffffffttttttt xD
Yet HP sells i7-6700 ddr4 ram 980ti for $1200.00 shipped
the same price will get you a 950 gtx acer predator
HP FTW!!!😂😂😂😂
No k ?oh well not bad at all
TheAgentAssassin hp = horrible product there laptops are trash for gaming. Worse than a mac book
Vape Nation idk what hp you got lol
Well, this is a surprise. Welcome back to Acer; I have a monitor from them, but this is the first tempting computer since the 500+II my mother had (that's an 8MHz NEC V20 based PC).
I bought a pre-built gaming Acer desktop a couple of years ago, works great. I just need to upgrade the graphics card as you need to do now and again.
That's nice and all, but I'd rather spend half the price and build it myself, as always.
if you want buy prebuilt you should check iBuyPower they don't charge as much for the components you get but buitlting it yourself is always the best way
+amir mekk NEVER BUY FROM IBUYPOWER
+amir mekk and again... build it and spend half the price..
Itachi Uchiha DiedASurvivor I dont like prebuilt but i think iBuyPower is the that does it right
Fit a 1080, 6700, Skylake Mobo, 32GB RAM, and 215GB 950 Pro in $1200?
I'd love to see that.
Your Amazon link leads to this product : 8 GB Nvidia GeForce GTX960 ( Acer G1 ) Wtf ?
HAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
WoW, calm down
and this is why ur parents hate u
Well if you search for the PC right after that and buy it, LTT still gets the kickback :D
Toi même .
great indepth insightful review, thanks Linus and team.
With the styling, the case has 2 head set holders on either side so when u set it up on a desk, ull have a headset holder no matter wat way u want you rig set up.
I can build my own for 2k with a 27" 1440p g sync monitor...
two ssd and a1080 ffs
It will be more than $2000 for what you listed. A 1070 is still great at 1440p.
+Dean simmons 2k pounds so it should be about the same in dollars
+sw1000xg for what you listed the price in us dollars would be around $2500 $2000 for the PC $500 for the monitor I don't know how it exactly translates to pounds
+Dean simmons just looked on newegg comes to 2,262.80 you could save 200 if you just got a 1440p 27" ... i5 6600k 16gb ram 1080 job done
The case itself is ugly as sin... and why the hell would you move the power brick outside? Great! Now I have a second box standing/dangling on/off my desk just because the manufacturer couldn't figure out how to flip the PSU and raise the case to keep PSU airflow separate from the rest of the case...
Oh and of course... overpriced af compared to even a pre-assembled similar setup with a proper case and non-proprietary mobo layout and cooling.
Because *Drumroll* you get more space inside inside a small place for other components
+Boffifis1 Which other Components?
Boffifis1 No you don't. You get a slightly smaller case for a lot bother. Drumrolls be damned.
It looks like someone decided to fuck up the front of the tower with a hammer.
Well I decided to make a custom build that looks like it for fun ( pcpartpicker.com/list/bxdMbj ) and it around 500-400 dollars higher than my custom according to their website.
Still overpriced, but not too bad compared to other OEMs. However, since they can benefit from mass buyouts can't see why it can't be cheaper.
Definitely the future here with external PSU power bricks for desktops. I think (and hope) this makes its way to custom builds too. There are already some mini-itx boards out there that can do it, but wish to see it spread to mATX too.
omg the design is so cool!!
It's funny how you guys say "I can just build it for less" I can barely screw in a light bulb 😂
This. ^
Der Hof 2007 well yeah you can build this for a lot less. Like at least 400$ less lol
Samuel Richer I don't know mabey 600 but I don't think 400.
clash of clans 400$ less not 400$ straight up
Erick Rosa What about it? You can install a pirated version from a flash drive (what 90% of people do), and then simply transfer the hard drive from your older PC to a new one by simply connecting them. OS is never a problem :p
Legit I thought they stretched a tire over the case and cut some holes for i/o
Idek lol
it has two headset holders depending on what side your PC is standing, left or right. its a good idea that they included them on both sides.
This is actually nice to see, good job Acer!
32gb ram?? wtf you gonna need that much ram to anyhow?? This will be a DUST magnet. Just like all other pre-builds.
wait a few years. things change
By then it will be dead from dust build up. xD
you can clear pc every week lol and for rendering and other video editing 32 gb of ram is good
I currently have 8GB of RAM, I am legitimately at 90% RAM usage 25% of the time.
(Which is a ton considering how much I use my computer.)
Simply doubling that wouldn't be enough because I'm barely scraping by and constantly micromanaging to even keep my computer running with 8GB, quadrupling should be more then enough though.
Yes, you don't even need 16 right now. 8 is STILL enough, at least for one year, or a bit longer.
It requires two power bricks and they output at 19v which is then dropped down to 12v inside the chassis? This seems so sloppy. Why not just create a single, external, 12v power supply for this? I guess the benefit is that they're fairly easy to replace with generic 'laptop chargers' in the future.
No, it is transferred into 12v, 5v, 3.3v.
StatTrak™ Tagged 99 Yeah. So 12v input would be more efficient than 19v. There's a loss associated with dropping the voltage.
I would imagine it's done for better line regulation and ripple.
+Gadget Addict Less loss than you'd think. Modern buck converters are pretty good. I'd prefer a loss and cheap chargers than a proprietary PSU.
laptops use 19v and acer mainly builds laptops, so there is that. Designing power delivery in that size your own just for a niche PC is not worth the development costs.
please do a review or build on the red harbinger desk case, or any desk case, thank you!
Very interesting review, thank you. I was considering buying this bad boy but those external power bricks convinced me to go for another option, specially after my previous' laptop brick died and I had to replace it, paying as much for shipping as the damn thing. I went for a computer with similar specs but less SSD storage that had an internal power supply from ABS, newegg's brand. It would be interesting to see an ABS computer review somewhere, as they are practically nonexistent over the web. Buying one of them is like building your own PC, because they use off the shelf components and then just glue their logo to the case, lol.
They replaced extra RAM and overpowered CPU ... with a suitcase...
Just checked the range that Acer is offering out of interest. All of them are borked.
They're supposed to be marketed towards gamers, yet place more emphasis on the CPU rather than the GPU. One of the options includes an i7 with a gtx 950 - what the actual fuck Acer? Granted, they also offer an i5 with a 950, but that's the only combination on their site that offers an i5. How about offering balanced combinations for mid-range gaming PC's? Why aren't they offering i5's with 970's or 1060's? Pre-built will always suck and always be unbalanced and overpriced.
Joshua Oxenford i got i7 6700 with gtx 960 prebuilt
This is a huge improvement for Acer. I can see this as a good "On-The-Go"/LAN party system with the easy transportation.
i believe the headset stands on either side is a nice touch so you can choose which side suits you best
wait wait wait....xbox power supply inside the xbox and now pc power supply outside the rig, what parallel world did just just wake up in?
Absolutely not worth it, especially with the GTX 1080 laptops being about the same price.
Because laptops are designed the same way. This desktop uses external power bricks, comes with a custom motherboard, has a bunch of custom internal components, has a custom chassis, comes with a fairly nice keyboard and mouse. It's designed and produced the same way laptops are, which is why it costs the same.
***** No, this desktop will still be more powerful. The vast majority of laptops with 1080s with not run them at full speed, ESPECIALLY when on battery. And the same thing goes with the CPU. This desktop has a 6700, which will beat ANY mobile CPU. So unless you're getting one of Sager's massive workstation laptops with a 6700k and a 1080, than it won't outperform this desktop, and even then the laptop will cost more.
Gtx 980, an i7, and 16gb of RAM for $2,700... absolutely not worth it.
Aries0098 What are you talking about? This system is $2400 and has a 1080, a 6700, and 32gb of RAM, with an NVMe based Samsung 950 pro SSD. I don't know why you're looking on Amazon's outdated model, instead of JUST GOING TO ACER'S SITE.
Panic Games
The one I checked on Amazon has those parts...
Hope to see you at PAX West again this year man!
Nice video Linus!
I will never buy a pre-build pc for my personal use. I simply love the options I get with a ultra large case and custom components form multiple brands.
large cases are shit. they take space, have high price and are ugly
iBuypowerPC not CyberPower
It's a matter of taste. I use the Coolermaster HAF (High Air Flow) www.techspot.com/articles-info/165/images/Image_00.jpg
+Gotin Fuklio
Leave whatever over-crowded shit hole of a city you reside?
If space is an issue, you probably need to change cities.
manictiger Well for me I live in a good suburban house but have a small desk. And since I prefer to see my case I'll be using a small Fractal Design Nano S. However, I have built in a decently big case (Corsair 200R) and it was pretty enjoyable and definitely not ugly.
so wait does that mean can upgrade it or no?
No
Yes you can, but it will void the warranty
Yes you can. It is the same and any other desktop
upgrading hardware will void your warranty?! excuse me? :D
Yes, it will. You're modifying your system.
The some reason for the two headset holders would probably be so you can use one on either side and place your computer on your left or right I'd assume and a good idea.
I think there are 2 headphone stands because no matter what side your computer is on, you can hang them. Also I have a gaming headset and a audiophile headset, so that is a nice touch.
Why are some videos 4k and some are 1080p?
Because Because. That's why. You learn something new *everyday*!
time constraints and camera availablity
depends on what camera they are shooting with, and how much time in the pipeline they have to edit it, editing a 4k timeline is more of a pain then 1080p.
+Sean LeBlanc yeah but they have like 4 editors and beast computers so when they shoot 4k why not edit in 4k and upload 4k even if it takes a little bit longer
Because it takes longer
Yikes.... You can build the same rig for $600+ cheaper.
Or be like me and buy this prebuilt used for $800 total
MrGoldenXp where you bought it?
Presumably the two headset hooks are so that you can use them whichever side of the desk you have the PC
The two headset holders are actually very nice. This way you can have the pc on either side of your desk and have it in a nice position. You can also have it against a wall this way and still use the holder.
I don't care what the spec is, with such a weird case I sure wouldn't want it. Nzxt H440
it cost $2,999.99 as well!
awww hell naw they didn't.
a lot of us bash because to us the building is you putting your souls into a creature upon which many of us will spend a lot of time. to many the pre built does not have the same soul to it . stupid I know but that doesn't change feelings
120$ for a fucking case!?!?!? You can get a really good one for around 50$
Its not about good one, also looks :) PSU shroud, and the SSD placement is nice.
Wait, did he not already review this?
he reviewed the old one this is the newer slimmer smaller one
+DanielRichards644 ohhhh! I thought this felt familiar for some reason! Thanks for the heads up
RezidentSeagull
he mentions the other one at some point in the video
Damn linus back at it again with the question titles
the two headset holder are on each side for when the side where the headseat holder is on the side of the wall
this is the Spec in icafe in Philippines name High Grounds Café.
Buy Predator G1
Play Angry Bird
Level 100
_Angry Birds, Minecraft and 2D RPGs_
Almost 3 mil subscribers, woohoo! Go Linus!
I believe they included two headset holders so you could put it in any space on the desk without bothering if you would be able to use it
why is this video only in 1080p instead of 4k??????????
Rendering still?
+gonatrollya no it only sais 1080 as max
probably because it's processing :)
that to might be possible i dunno
why would you need to is my question lol you are seeing nothing more important that i am at 480p to save internet (Australia sucks with charging per data limit per month).
I rarely use 720 or 1080 for really good videos but everything else is just fine :)
(If you can and have no restrictions there is no reason why you wouldnt haha but yeah :) just curious as to why its a MUST for such a basic video)
I found this at Costco
same lol
How much? What
Max Tim look at Costco’s website
I found this at Safeway.
Headset holders on both sides so it would work whether you have your pc on your left or right
The form factor, the motherboard and internal layouts are all different form what I'm used to too in Linus tech tips; but the predator actually looks cool and as usual I take Linus's word for it
the fuck is up with the benchmark at 7:20. the ferris wheel was gone.
Yeah but can I play Solitaire without lag?
No you need a custom GTX Solitaire custom rig for only about 3800$
FYI: it seems clear to me that there are two headset holders to allow flexibility in positioning the case. If the case is position next to the desk or another object, it will block the holder on that side, necessitating the use of the other holder.
I believe the point of having 2 headphone jacks is for the popular esports multi thing, They have a headset on for voice and noise cancellation, and headphones underneath headset for clear crisp
really 2 power plugs? that just lazy, i all ready got too much crap plug in to the wall as it is :/
Lazy? It required designing an entirely new motherboard so that they have voltage stepping, plus designing a power brick for the system. It improves noise output and thermals inside the case. Please explain how it's lazy?
Panic Games
"i all ready got too much crap plug in to the wall as it is" or are you one of those people who have 100 outlets on your wall.
"It required designing an entirely new motherboard"
i don't think so
as for voltage stepping they could incorporate it in to the brick itself and use a proprietary plug like the xbox 360 or something similar, more or less they just took two laptop power bricks that they already have form there other acer computers and tape them together it is lazy
***** I have 3 monitors, 2 desktops, a tv, my surround sound, and the lights I use for livestreaming all plugged into the same outlet. It's called power bars.
if you already have too much crap plugged in than it doesnt matter if it has 2 plugs or 1 since you're probably going to overdraw it anyways. if you're not going to overdraw than you can literally rip of the outlet and hotwire the plugs together, thats how a power outlet splitter works anyways.
tjeulink Exactly, I can fucking daisy chain 4 power bars if I want, and as long as the total draw isn't over 1800 watts, there's not danger as long as the wiring is done properly in your house.
Console gamers always want an internal psu, but now PC gamers want an external psu. Like, really?
Story
(Almost) No PC gamer wants an external power supply unit.
not anymore, now that I can build mine and choose which parts go in it!
I wish there were more external power supplies available so that I could build a tiny PC in a custom case. It would also encourage more small form factor cases to be made that are actually small.
roast leafyishere.
I sacrifice leafy in exchange for Harambee :'(
I'd sacrifice leafy for a used tshirt. They're pretty similar in value.
+McButtz I'd sacrifice Leafy for used toiletpaper. I'd get more use out of that.
+McButtz Nah, leafy is only worth a happy meal. =)
you're on the wrong channel
$2800 wtf... building a computer is so simple why do people do this to themselves XD... literally this is building a PC... plug in the CPU to the motherboard apply thermal paste close the CPU holder down thingy (yes very technically oh no so complicated) then attach the CPU fan literal either screws on or snaps in place connect fan power to motherboard (literal there is a spot that says CPU fan on a connector on the motherboard) then plug in your RAM (litteral snaps in) screw the motherboard to the case plug in the case wires to the motherboard (if you do not know where they go wow go to youtube) screw in your HDD and/or SSD then plug them into the motherboard (again if you do not know where, go to youtube) plug in your GPU then put in your power supply and hook up the power connectors to the stuff (once again if you do not know look it up on youtube) turn it on install OS (are you listening? go to youtube if you do not know how to do that) there that simple no joke took me one hour and I had never done it ever before and I just watched like 4-5 youtube videos worked first try...
I bet nobody read this...
I did......
+LiveForFun i did too. But my pc is on fire now...
DedSec lmao
It's actually $2300. But even then you can still build it for $500-700 cheaper with better parts.
Linus I guess the 2 headset holder @ 5:15 makeing sure that you have one on your side no matter if you place the PC right or left of you.
I'll always be a builder but it's good to see that options are finally becoming available to people who want to get into PC gaming but are intimidated by the price or confusion of buying from a builder.
For that price I can buy a PC with a gtx 980 and an i7 6700k
Even with a 1080
True dat 😂😂😂😂
WHICH ONE IS NOT RETARDED???
+Isfak Volpo the Amazon link is the same PC but with a gtx970
+CxOrillion titan x
Lol for 2.6k i can build, 2 better ones, whit monitors... LOL
PRE-Build
Pre-Shit
Some people don't have the privilege of being able to build a PC, or the time, respect other people's situations
+Kyle Van Dyk you dont have to build it in 1 day i am in high school and didnt have time to build it in 1 day so i built it over 2 days and overclocked and stuff on the 3rd day
+Kyle Van Dyk that was my first pc im faster now
Kyle Van Dyk
1. Why would they be on LinusTechTips?
2. If they don't have the time to build then why would they have the time to use it?
3. Other people's situations have no impact on preferring a prebuilt over a custom.
With lame monitors tho
@linustechtips They placed the headphone arms on both sides in consideration of how you have your computer facing.
The cons would indicate simple cost cutting measures. The thermal difference makes me wonder if a smaller case allows air to flow over periphs better and faster than a larger one.
hi
am i famous?
no
A "review" without benchmarks ? WHAAAAA ??? That's nothing but an infomercial. Thumbs down on this.
+Bogeyshooter 53 if it doesn't throttle (did thermal testing and it performs better than its big brother as I mentioned in the video) then it performs the same as any other 1080 and 6700. It ain't black magic.
Dude it'd going to be almost exactly the same as any 6700 and 1080. if your that interested in the benchmarks for thud system someone else might have ran them
+LinusTechTips it's a review dude it has to be filled not just oh my God I got payed to say this is a great pc when I can build a pc much better for 200 CHEAPER! why it's really not that great I'm sorry but pushing the amazon links and acting like this is freakin' tv and promoting products. channels like this have really let me down.
+conman nickname Leroy You're watching a video of a pre-built PC. What were you expecting? For them to have better benchmarks than other 6700 + gtx 1080 builds?
Thought it was a rocking review.
Very nice, way to go Acer!
Finally a Linus Tech Tips video with Linus in it! :D
Can it run minecraft?
M3lly now that's crossing the line
Baboo yea that's a little insane to think that it can run that
my 2011 hp lap without secondary card runs mc at 60+fps WHHHAAAAAAAAAAT
Highly unlikely
no
$770ish premium for having everything put together for you? :/ I would have said that would be better spent on another 1080 in sli, but sli is in the shithole right now... so.... meh, I guess??? pcpartpicker.com/list/8yrwcc
I'll build you a PC for 50$ (plus part price :p)
AcerShillTips is the new brand name?
you put a way cheaper SSD and a cheaper HDD on there , they only gain 200 at most for putting everything together
gakukid991 Really? What brand and model of drives did they use?
bro is this a joke? windows 7? really? the rest of the system is nice but come on dude windows 7?
As someone who has built 3 rigs for myself and 5 for others, this is very very well built and organized, I don't think anyone will regret buying it
I'd pick a larger MoBo with a second PCIe slot rather than an ITX which is anyway large just for LED controlled case.
Acer = Shit :3
Haha
Acer=Shit=me
nice :3
>Acer
>Make it so the chromebook 11 can't usb boot
ebin
>mfw uses greentext on youtube
>"greentext"
this is good for me cause I don't know how to build anything thing like what the fuck is all this stuff
Building isn't hard. A week of research is all you need and you'll be fine.
KunaiKrazy a week of research?
Yes, my first own build is running smoothly. You just need some dedication, time and screwdriver :)
same here I'm just too lazy when it comes to pc's. I made good money so I'm just going to buy it, I bought a lenovo like back in 2011 and it still works but want something that will run vr as I'm getting into it.
That cut out of you dropping the PC fucking always makes me laugh. You're a genius..
hopefully when the time comes i need a new rig, the whole ultrabook + external GPU has been completely worked out without a bunch of proprietary stuff and/or bugs.
Meanwhile I'm watching this on a $400 dell laptop (its pretty shit trust me)
I could build a more powerful and better looking rig for $400 less
+Munira Islam No but i think you are, nobody in there right mind would buy that pc for $2500
+Kevin L no im not saying to buy the prebuilt pc im saying you cant build a pc with the same performance for 400
thats impossible
That's great who cares
+Munira Islam he said $400 less. How about instead of being aggressive on the internet you read before saying stupid shit
Funny, I've been building my personal (and a few friends) PCs with the PSU mounted to the back outside of the chasis for exactly that reason.
Since this CPU Turbo's to 4Ghz, which is determined by power availability among other things, it would have been interesting to see if this system can actually reach 4ghz with the external power bricks.
Linus, it's an ACER bro. It's all crap, and will die within one month of its warranty expiration, guaranteed. ACER is a four letter word in more ways than one in my world... Good to see they're aiming higher, but they've pissed me off one too many times and I'll NEVER own another component from them again. NEVER.
I brought the model under this. it came with a GTX 645. And cost about $2000. I was young and Naive. Regrets.
I know this is an old video and i know they wont read this comment or many of you but id like to point out the reason why they have added 2 headset holding arms on the PC is to make is so you can position the PC to the left or right of your main setup and therefore are not restricted in having to access your headset from one angle. This is also convenient for people who might not be able to use alot of space to put their PC.
Youe should review the nfc-s4 case. It uses external power adapter and its size is only 4.something liter.
I have a G3 and it is still awesome for 1200 with a i7-6700k and Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 with 32 gigabytes of ram (DDR4)
TechyPlayz Why would you ever need 32gb? That seems like the biggest waste when they try to market to gamers
Changes where did you buy it? I can only find it with 1070, 8gb ram and i5 7400
There's hope for pre-builts I guess. w/e, I'll build my own even just for fun ;)
Oh boy a copy of the Division! Sounds amazing.
i think the dual headset holders are for either sides depending if you want your pc hugging the wall.
I love the look, i love the inside, i love the leds (the leds look even better than in g6) and the prise isnt too bad as well..
But how silent and fast is this when it comes to playing some games that requier a damn good fps and other stuff?
