I injury Margaret Esoterica pipe tobacco very much and I've been a pipe smocker for about 3 years. But my My palate isn't as experienced. As a 30 year pipe smoker or for that matter a 10 year smoker. But I can say I extremely enjoy demograph pipe tobacco from esoteria.😊
Esoterica blends, as you say, are neither all the same nor for everyone but they sure seem to be made with the very finest leaf and apparently by skilled hands. And So to Bed is also one of my favorite blends; as well, it would be tough to find a better straight Virginia blend than Cardiff. To those for whom And So to Bed has an appeal, I'll recommend Cornishman by The Country Squire. It's not an equivalent by any means but there's something equally delicious about it--and it's consistently available. I don't know where most of the Esoterica stock goes, but it is lamentable that these are nearly impossible to get.
Finally, finally we have excellent,intelligent content on JF Germain and Son! In my opinion these are by far the finest pipe tobaccos made in the world. Any blend made under their name is the best. Penzance, is actually what it says on the tin…..finest English mottled flake. Margate…..best full English In my opinion…..And So To Bed….is the finest mild English in the world. Stonehaven/Tilbury…….number one and two Va/Burs in the world. Dunbar/Dorchester ……two of the most sought after Va/Pers in the world. Brighton/Scarborough……another two of the most sought straight Virginias in the world. I could go on but no other pipe tobacco company can begin to compete with this little company. Gawith Hoggarth is a great maker of tobaccos in the world. Totally agreed with your thoughts on these tobaccos in this video. I can hardly wait for other tobacco reviews you may offer.
Great show. I never heard of the St. Ives before. Looking forward to the HU reviews. I've heard a lot about them. Seen them on consignment sites... But never ran across any for a realistic price. But, I am always on the lookout for them.
Howdy...long time since your videos popped, missed y'all! Great review of Esoterica...I've been fortunate to have acquired many of the offerings from Esoterica. These have gained quite the hype, most of which is deserved in my opinion. Taste is always subjective, smoke what you like and never concern yourself with the opinions of others is something I'll tell others. But...that said, if you can get your hands on And So To Bed, Penzance, Margate, Tilbury and of course Stonehaven, do so. Happy smokes y'all!
I really enjoy you two guys reviews. That being said I will not go out of my way for any of these. The worst experience I ever had with a tobacco was Esoterica Pembroke. Soap and deodorant is all it tasted like to me. I fear the rest would be the same. I'm used to the OTC blends and that is what I prefer. Sure other people might think I'm crazy but I personally cannot bring myself to purchase any of these. Probably are some of the highest quality tobacco's on earth but just not for me. Thanks guys and I do look forward to more videos from y'all,take care Tommy

I Hope to obtain some of these blends someday, when they do occasionally pop up they are gone in a flash.
The secret is to find a good brick and mortar store and give them your business and they’ll eventually let you know when some is available.
