Hi Mike thanks for sharing and good luck. The birds look great and doing well. 😘😘😘🕊️🕊️🕊️ nothing like watching them coming home from long race wonderful feeling 🕊️🕊️🕊️
Good video Mike, excellent job. Everyone has their own methods and system and keep using what works. My 1st two years racing i didn't use barley either and did very well and in 2022 i won Combine avg speed. This year i happened to use barley more often and did good as well. So whichever works then so be it. It's working quite well for you with minmial losses and kicking butt racing 😂 awesome job and congratulations buddy.
Hey Mike, thanks for sharing your video. I hope you have better luck out of the next race. I know there’s always a chance to lose birds, but it’s never any fun losing them. Hope you and your family are doing well.
I have about seven breeding pair of pure whites, but just one on the young Bird racing team. I didn’t read many for the racing team this year because I was trying out a lot of new birds that I have. Thanks for watching.
Yes, I do have five breeding pair of Meulman’s but wasn’t able to get any on the team because I was trying out some of my newer birds this year. Thanks for asking my friend.
Good question I should probably be more clear on the video. It is a device that connects to the Internet so that others in the Race can see your returns as they happen.
@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons ahh means tracker devices ?? Here in Philippines our race is when your birds arrives you get the number in the ring and make it clock by chatting the club ..
@ well it’s nice to hear from you Miguel. I often think about how much you and Mr Henry helped me out when I was just getting going. The HVRS will probably always be my go to pigeons for tough races. I still have many of the original ones and they will die here. How are yours?
I don’t have much experience flying old birds. I’ve only done it for one season and I was on the Natural system. Can’t say they did exceedingly well but that’s a lot different than racing young birds and will take some adjusting on my part.
Another great video Mike!! We always enjoy your videos!! My husband and I started watching Racing videos when a racing bird showed up on our farm for about 3 weeks! We bought food for him and even called the national Number and they gave us the phone number for the owner but they would never return our calls🤷♀️he finally left one day..we were kinda sad! But it did get us really interested watching your videos!!
Now this is how You design a Pigeon Loft People! Cutting Edge Man 👍
I'm glad you think so, I was really hoping I could incorporate some good ideas to build the loft.
Good work Mike, appreciate the way you care for your birds, some guys don't care about their birds as much.
I really try to do right by them. Thanks for watching.
Very nice. Great job Mike

Thanks buddy, and I still have both of them 👍
@ sweet tats good news
It’s exciting watching them return. Could you please do an update on the highfliers? Thanks for the video!
Yes, nothing like seeing them. Return on race day! And I really do need to do an update on the high Flyers. Thank you.
Good video Mike. I like your perches. Are they 2 x 2 pine or something else?
Yes, they are roughly 2 x 2 pine. The pigeons really seem to be comfortable on them.
Well done, Mike. Do you still have your meulemans, and are they racing?
Yes, I do have five breeding pair of Meulman’s but wasn’t able to get any on the team because I was trying out some of my newer birds this year. Thanks for asking my friend.
👍👍👍

Hi old friend ✌️
What size is ur young bird loft n how many birds do u have in it
The Youngbird loft is 24 feet long and 6 feet wide. I started with 90 young birds in there at the beginning of the season.
Do you still have any birds from Mr Henry buddy? Are they do well ?
@@Chacalozo1984 is this Carlos?
@ sorry I just see you replay 🤣🤣 no is Miguel I’m the one who tell you about Mr Henry remember you send me a black pegion to Pennsylvania

@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons great Mike looks like you have a wonderful team of pigeons 👍
Do you fly your old birds on widowhood cocks or hens or both you have enough birds 👍
I don’t have much experience flying old birds. I’ve only done it for one season and I was on the Natural system. Can’t say they did exceedingly well but that’s a lot different than racing young birds and will take some adjusting on my part.

It’s not if you only race one sex but it’s a lot of work if you race both sexes on widowhood 👍
I disagree. Barley is very important and racing pigeons.
Why?
@@charliee1579 most pigeon racer’s feel that way and certainly the ones I race against so I don’t blame you for saying that.
