Sorry for your losses Mike unfortunately I know the feeling too, I live in Southern California two race seasons ago old birds we had bad fires here plus over 90 degrees every race everyone experienced big losses. Fire, smoke, haze and heat is the perfect combination for loosing good birds. It hurts but it really makes you a better flyer and observer of the birds and weather conditions. Breed up some more and get back out there! Love your videos peace and good luck.
There is a lot to watch out for that is for sure! Next time I will be sure they are safe. I lost a Lotta great birds that I had no reason for losing. I’m glad you like the videos, thanks for the support
Mike I hate that you lost so many birds. Maybe some will show up today. The heat has been rough here in Kentucky as well. Not much haze but the heat is terrible. Good luck and thanks for sharing. I always enjoy watching your videos.
losing them in that way was hard to swallow, I did get 7 more back so now up to 34. I don't think i will see anymore at this point but I will keep my fingers crossed. Glad you like the videos my friend and I like seeing all your nice pigeons also.
Hi MIKE, so there was 31 home, have anymore turned in since. There will be some more come home over the next few days and weeks. THEY HAD IT ROUGH, DIDN'T THEY. GOOD LUCK MIKE HOPE YOU GET SOME MORE HOME SOON. 🌟💯👍👍
I’m not sure I will get any more back, the heat is unbelievable and the ones that made it back today looks like they were on their last leg. I have 33 now at last count. If there are some smart ones out there they may have rested today during the heat and might see them tomorrow. Thanks again Kevin
This is the painful part of this beautiful game. A part where you loss your birds and unsure if they can still make it back home. I love this game still. I wish they make it back home safely “Mike” :)✌️
Hope they continue to trickle back. This smoke is really creating issues with deciding to train or not. It’s not like they can fly around it. I was the same as you thinking it was just some ground fog that would burn off until someone told me about the smoke. I think it’s more of an air quality issue then anything. Just one more thing to think about when training or deciding to do a toss or not. I have been training on the short side more often and hesitant to push them out too far. If I lose half of 18 it’s going to hurt.
I understand that Paul but I really hated to see them go especially like that! I still have 34 great birds to continue on with. Keep up the great training my friend.
Very true because the air quality due to the haze they said on the news was dangerous! Still I got 34 back so not a total loss. I just feel bad for the others. Thanks for the comment my friend, good to hear from you.
Man you got excellent birds and I will always tell you that in this sport you gotta have losses one time it have a dust storm and the sky was mess up I tossed 60 birds and got back 15 I lost everything else and you wont believe that 15 that I got back flew through the whole young bird season and I got some wins in the end you have the parents so you know what you have breed more brother and go brave it's only the start you have alot coming wonders keep safe brother and always keep your head up even with a lost 😎🥳😤💪
Thanks Daniel I always appreciate your comments. It does suck to lose that many in one toss but like you said the ones that were able to do it are the best.
