- Cordova is undoubtedly a must go to place in Cebu. Located in Mactan Island, Cordova is a 3rd-class municipality in the Provine of Cebu. The town's fiesta (Dinagat Festival) is celebrated every 2nd sunday of August. Cordova is also known to be a quiet fishing village in the past. With its growing population and increasing visitors, the town is not the usual quiet town anymore. It is frequented by people from nearby cities and towns because of its seafood sold in Barangay Poblacion RoRo Port Road and also in their wet markets all-over the town. Cordova also has a flourishing tourism, with their increasing number of resorts, restaurants and hotels. One famous personality of Cordova is the late Florencio "Entoy" Escabas owner and founder of Entoy's Bakasihan (A seafood carenderia) which gained popularity when his eatery was featured in Netflix. Noong bata pa ako mga early 70s sa cordova kme nkatira .sumasama ako minsan sa panghuli isda .manu sa gabee.ang daming huli naming isda..peru ngayon dto n ako sa bulacan w/ my family ...na mimiss ko na ang cordova

May mga lugar nga makita sa video nga giilugan og pwesto ang mga mangroves sa mga balay. Hinaot may mga ordinansa ang LGU nga maghatag dakong bili/proteksyon sa Kinaiyahan...ug unta hapsay tan-awon ang mga tindahan ug dili anha sa kilid sa kalsada....
Huh? Nakakita kag balay sa mga mangroves? Palihug kuno ug zoom in kay sa akong nahibaw-an wala may nagbalay sa dunay mangroves. Gipaguba man tong mga temporary structures nga diha mismo taas sa pagatpat, kana pa kahang balay mismo.

@Gawens....Sir, ayaw palit diha sunod kay mahal kaayo na sila. Labaw sa 30-40% ilang presyo diha kumpara sa Lapu-Lapu city public market. We should not patronize their scalping businesses. Ilang gikumpra ang mga kuha sa mga local nga mananagat diha unya ila ibaligya ug halos 300% more! I tried to buy straight from the fishermen once but he refused to sell me, adding he already had a ready buyer. But I suspected that all fishermen in the area don't sell straight to individual buyers because their catch are already contracted to be purchased wholesale by middlemen.
Ayaw ana uy. Basin mo aumbong na sa ilang Mambabalaod, ila bang mambabalaod ilado na dali maduolan sa mga labos ug naay kahadlok sa ginoo.

I agree. I found out that the prices of fish and other seafood in that area are more expensive (20-30% more) than those sold in Lapu-Lapu City Public market. I learned that those vendors are scalpers, they bought the fresh catch of local fishermen and resell them with very high profit margins. So we didn't buy from there anymore.
