Wow!! That storm looked very bad! So happy all of you are OK and had somewhere to go to be safe! I'm sure you know a trailer is the worst place to be! Hope the house is finished soon. That safe has already paid for itself!
Hey Donavon i also have dexlexia. I wasn't diagnosed until Jr High. Some days are a struggle. So glad you got your safe room before that crazy storm we had. Blessings
Awesome video as always love it today i have a migraine and just watching this video and trying to get over it as always great love you all God blessing to you all 💗🙏..
Hi Donavan. Sorry I’ve been gone so long. The hosp. didn’t have UT and I couldn’t have my phone. I’m so glad to see the progress you’ve made!‼️🥰👍❤️. 👵🏻
I just love storms. I am so please that you all were safe in the shelter. It is better than the RV. I love Ellies jokes. They are so fun. She has me laughing all the time. Tell her I said thank you for making me laugh. Love and Blessings to you all. ❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
Probably should’ve put washers under the parts that were higher than others, also I’m pretty sure torquing them in sequence is something that maybe important so it puts pressure on it even. Other than that exactly how I did mine!
he first thing you need to do before even considering this storm shelter is to determine whether you have a Post Tensioned Slab. If your slab is Post Tensioned (high tensioned cables running through the concrete), you will have no way to anchor the shelter. NEVER DRILL INTO A POST TENSIONED SLAB. If you should drill into a cable, even nick a cable, you risk the destruction of the concrete slab as well as injury or death. There may be services available that can locate and mark the cable locations using x-ray or a metal detector so you can avoid them, but you have to consider the risk. Aside your own safety, you can destroy your house.
Just rebar in the slab, not post tension. Good way back in our videos and you will find out concrete video along with the rest of our house build of your into that kind of stuff. Thanks for the great comment and knowledge.
I have dyslexia but it only seems to happen with numbers. Which can be a real bitch when you are an electrician. I have to triple and quadruple check my calculations sometimes 😂😂😂
My son has Dyslexia. He overcame it but it was really hard in school bc they didn’t catch it until he was 12 yrs. old. It made school really, really hard‼️👎🏼😂😅👍☀️ 👵🏻
You got that safe room installed just in the nick of time .. Glad your all OK. 🧡💚💙🥰
Yes we did. We felt safe anyways.. even if nothing happened but it could have been real bad if we didn’t have it.
Thank goodness that shelter was in place to keep y'all safe!! One more step closer to moving in to your new home!!! God Bless
it really was just in time. it could have been bad.

Yeah we are ok but it will be tight in there when you come to visit if we all have to get in there.😜🤣
I don’t blame you I would not live in Oklahoma or anywhere in the Midwest or gulf states without a shelter. Good for you.

Good thing you had the storm shelter in place when those storms hit.
Got that right.
Wow, what a great helper you have w/you. Good to see responsible good men taking care of their most precious gifts from God.
Got that right, the best!

Thank you Doris, I’m sure Ellie will be pleased to hear that. I like rain storms but that was a bit much.
I have an above ground tornado 🌪 shelter bolted down just like that.
Hopefully you done ever have to use yours as well. But good on you for getting one.
That went in just in time glad were all safe😮
Yup

It is my prayer that this one room is never used for its intended purpose. But if it gets used I hope it works as tested.
Omg. Please stay safe.
We will
How is that secured to the floor ????????? ???
Hilty two part epoxy, and large drop in bolts. Then once it sets they torque it to 90 ft pounds.
