Great idea changing up the barrel materials. I've always found the steel saddles bright enough, however they do make titanium saddles that I believe are supposed to be brighter than steel! Thanks for sharing your tone search, great content.
What your after might be attainable through different pots, not to send you down another rabbit hole or anything, lol. Also, I personally still don't understand the popularity of a neck humbucker or mini humbucker, but to each their own. I find the traditional tele neck pickup to be extremely musical both on its own and magical when parallel with the bridge pickup (standard middle switch position).
Aluminum/brass/brass (bass-to-treble) sounds really dynamic and articulate! Much agreed on the "new strings" thing ... players go way too long (me included).
"ZING" is why I got a 1 pickup Esquire. That Telecaster sounds great whatever you stick in the bridge, the new strings made in 'Zingier". I also am glad you bought those saddles, I can imagins an all Aluminium set might zing it up more. Thanks....and yes , after all that you ought to be Endorsed by Elixer cos they are going to get a gee more orders tomorrow morning!
Aluminium and Steel seemed to provide a harder attack than brass, but not necessarily zing. Aluminium seemed to make the E and A weaker compared to steel. Maybe aluminium notched out some midrange frequencies? Steel seems like a good compromise.

Did you try a good compressor? Empress does a great job at having a great tone. With my Vibro champ, it’s a winner

Down the bottomless rabbit hole of tone.
Isn't that the truth!
It's pretty crowded down here, and we all jumped in willingly. 😉
....but that's the fun part, exploring.!
Danish Pete's dad?
Lolllllll
Are you backing tracks free for others to use in their videos or do they have to get permission from you first?
Go right ahead (I think!) which one(s) are you thinking of using?
@@nohjoh08 thank you. Any of your rock/metal tracks if you have any

Sorry young fella but no change on low E and A (aluminum or Steel or Brass)
