Hi Paul, When filling the Title and Subtitle do we have to enter the "colon (:) punctuation mark" after the Title of our book? Or will it be added automatically once the book is published? Please check the below example. I'm talking about the colon after the Title (the word beginners). New Diabetic Cookbook for Beginners: Easy, Tasty & Low-Carb Recipes for the Whole Year Also is it ok to add both Title and Subtitle in the Title box together? (I mean without adding a subtitle)
My question is: I've created a lined notebook with a green base color. I want to have slight variations with the same exact cover design, just a pink base. Is there a way to list it under the same listing? Just have a "Pink" variation button? Like you can do with tshirt colors for example? Do you have a video on how to do this?
Paul how do you merge the 2 pdf copies of interior since it couldn't download 120 at once? I watched 2 videos one older where you said download 100 then 20 to merge them together. I found it. It does download 120 pages now on canva
Please sir I'm a newbie, I couldn't create an interior from canvas platform or bookbolt because it's required for payment before I can access the platform.
Thank you so much for your videos, they are so helpful. I am having a problem over and over with my cover files. I have them sized as instructed i.e. 8.5x11 book cover is 17.475x11.25 according to the KDP calculator. When I upload it doesn't reach the bottom of the template in the print previewer. I have tried 4 different files and some have been grossly lengthened just for testing, still the same issue. I have the bleed setting chosen. Could there be a setting that I am missing?
Hi, Paul. Thanks for this video series, very helpful. I received the notice you mentioned about the low content KDP changes. My email says the changes will be effective on 5/17/22, and will have a low content box to check when entering the book’s title. It explains the new ISBN policy. I’m anxious to see your video on these changes and hear your thoughts. I’m wondering why they’re doing this and how it will affect the overall process of publishing and selling low content books. Also, wonder whether it will be better to buy an ISBN instead of publishing without one. They mention activity books, puzzle books and coloring books will not be considered low content books. Lots of questions in my mind on these changes. Thanks again for all your help. Also, have tried to contact you, but my message evidently isn’t getting through.
May take time for Amaozn to index it fully. Even so, it would depend on factors such as competition, whether it got any initial clicks etc. You can also click on the Amazon link in the KDP dashboard to nsee your book on an Amazon page.
KDP has blocked title of 2 low content books, i created them with the help of your video, before that one was published as well. I have been searching for proper answer to this, but unable to get any helpful answer. If you may answer this.

You can upload the lined interior into something like Canva and just delete the lines off every other page.

Thank you SO MUCH for all you do here. I'm uploading my second book and the buttons on the kdp page aren't working. Both upload buttons, for the cover and the interior just do nothing when I click on them! I tried in chrome and safari, logged out, re-started, all of that. NADA. Any clue on a fix? Thank you!

When filling the Title and Subtitle do we have to enter the "colon (:) punctuation mark" after the Title of our book?
Or will it be added automatically once the book is published?
Please check the below example. I'm talking about the colon after the Title (the word beginners).

My question is: I've created a lined notebook with a green base color. I want to have slight variations with the same exact cover design, just a pink base. Is there a way to list it under the same listing? Just have a "Pink" variation button? Like you can do with tshirt colors for example? Do you have a video on how to do this?
Paul how do you merge the 2 pdf copies of interior since it couldn't download 120 at once? I watched 2 videos one older where you said download 100 then 20 to merge them together.

Thank you so much for your videos, they are so helpful. I am having a problem over and over with my cover files. I have them sized as instructed i.e. 8.5x11 book cover is 17.475x11.25 according to the KDP calculator. When I upload it doesn't reach the bottom of the template in the print previewer. I have tried 4 different files and some have been grossly lengthened just for testing, still the same issue. I have the bleed setting chosen. Could there be a setting that I am missing?
What size are you setting your book at on KDP? It sounds like KDP is expecting a larger cover size than the book you're creating.
Hi, Paul. Thanks for this video series, very helpful. I received the notice you mentioned about the low content KDP changes. My email says the changes will be effective on 5/17/22, and will have a low content box to check when entering the book’s title. It explains the new ISBN policy. I’m anxious to see your video on these changes and hear your thoughts. I’m wondering why they’re doing this and how it will affect the overall process of publishing and selling low content books. Also, wonder whether it will be better to buy an ISBN instead of publishing without one. They mention activity books, puzzle books and coloring books will not be considered low content books. Lots of questions in my mind on these changes. Thanks again for all your help. Also, have tried to contact you, but my message evidently isn’t getting through.

I can't find my logbook on amazon even after it is live a week ago,published with a low niche search.Cant find it on any page of amazon.
May take time for Amaozn to index it fully. Even so, it would depend on factors such as competition, whether it got any initial clicks etc. You can also click on the Amazon link in the KDP dashboard to nsee your book on an Amazon page.

KDP has blocked title of 2 low content books, i created them with the help of your video, before that one was published as well. I have been searching for proper answer to this, but unable to get any helpful answer. If you may answer this.

I don't think they let you progress to publishing without having bank details set up.
@@paulmarles found a way to set it up...my book is still "In Review"...nervous if it will be granted...and IF it will sell. Haha

I am trying to upload my first notebook, but having an issue with the margins when I go to review. The cover is fine, but all the lined pages say out of margins... Help!?!
When u r in canva click on show bleed and show margins and adjust accordingly you can also click file and change the page size if you have canva pro
