Just moved to Stockton a few months ago. It may be quite the shithole of a city, but that air museum is one hell of a jewel, looking forward to visiting it sometime
Hi, Gary Dunn. I'm Corey, and I just watched the video of you flying on the ww2 bomber which dropped the dud bombs. I'm interested in world war history, I'm also a member of world war 2 living history group here in Canada. A little while ago, I ordered a reproduction of the actual ww2 era bomber jacket. I portray a member of the 1st Canadian parachute Battlion. And now, I'm thinking of portraying a bomber crew member. My step Dad had an uncle who flew air combat over Nazi Germany during ww2. I met him, before I met my step dad. Plus when I was in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, my deputy commanding officer, I had no idea that his dad fought in ww2, as a bomber crew member. I didn
And years later, I voleenterred with the ww2 vets. And that was when I got the shock of my life, when I met my ex- deputy commanding officer's dad. He told me about when he was a member of world war bomber crew member. I'm proud to have met them both, father and son. And I'm proud to have in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and I will always be proud of that. I also have a ww2 bomber jacket. Corey. Corey Hansen from Canada.
Thanks, Gary, I appreciate your offer. I'm happy with the way my new bomber jacket is. And I have another bomber jacket as well as the one I have. In fact, I have 2 bomber jackets. The one I got back in January, is the new one. And the other one I have is a ĺittle older, that's the one I some times consider getting a ww2 bomber painted on the back. I'm just wondering if there's some way I can find out where I can find a matching leather flight cap to go with my new bomber jacket, besides on Amazon and world war iiimpressions. And, I would love to go up in a world war2 era bomber. How much would it cost to paint my older bomber jacket? Thanks for your time in responding, Gary. Corey.
First time I see a "real" bomb run from a genuine vintage WWII bomber. You, the yankees, you are just crazy. And I love it !
Wonder if we could get an Avro Lancaster out to do that
@@connormclernon26 AFAIK there is at least one Lancaster in flying condition in UK.
@@Prestone44 and one in Canada.
Love those vintage B-24J Liberator bomber. 😍

Putting that on the bucket list.

It is, I was like...wait a minute no way lol.
"let's build"
"bring on the scaffolding"
My Dad did 52 missions in B 24s. Glad to see one still works as intended.

That’s very cool. If you would like your jacket painted let me know. I have a friend that makes leather patches and paints the a2 jackets
Fuck me that angle standing in the bomb bay gave me some serious stomach turning sensations.
Tidal Wave!! Five were awarded the Medal of Honor!! Don't mess with the US!
