Looks like Arthur is going to have some B-25 Mitchell parts available for sale soon! So Heartbreaking to hard crash such a beautiful fine detailed warbird as that one. One thing i have practiced more and more everytime i go flying is to get up high in altitude and do Spin Recovery Exercises and i find that the human reaction to them is to naturally give up elevator and opposite aileron deflection which actually amplifies the spin. i pull off the throttle completely and just work the rudder only and that is always best to pull out of a spin
Watch out for the Hun in the sun ! That 109 came out of nowhere ! Sorry about the crash. It was flying nicely. Your pilots were very brave riding the plane in so the crew could bail out.

Merci Jean Luc !
Please don't take this wrong this is just an observation, I noticed your turns are mainly used without rudder , banking a heavy plane at low speed will cause the wing on inside of the turn to stall and loose lift causing the plane to spin ,opposite rudder to the direction of the spin with power will get you out of trouble but altitude is everything here it gives more time to react and recover quickly. I'm sorry for your lose I've lost many planes until I started practicing spin recovery it's important.. you need to fly with more rudder especially heavier planes it'll help you make turns aLittle more flat allowing to maintain lift.
I know that buddy but I was discovering the plane and that’s not because of no rudder that I crashed it…just lost the plane a few seconds…distraction 😢
One negative of stabilisers is that once a wing stalls and starts a spin the stabiliser senses the wing going down so it puts down aileron, increasing the angle of attack and so deepening the stalled surface not recovering it. As Rafael says above, spin recovery with rudder is essential, but real hard to action as we are wired to think aileron is roll control. Such a nice airplane and great model. Thanks for sharing your highs and lows. Happy flying.

G’day Arthur, well flown right to the end. After watching many of your videos i know you were in full control as professional as you are & like any pilot, one second of loss of concentration & she is gone. It happens to the best of😅 us. Keep up the great flying and put this behind you! 👏👏👏👏👍🇦🇺
Oops Arthur, I know it is always tempting to see if the parachute opens or the bombs drop but in the 1 or 2 seconds that can take the plane has gone the length of our flying field and by the time your eyes pick it up again sometimes it is just too late. I got away with it the first time my eyes lingered too long and since then I just get others to watch the bombs fall and keep my eyes fixed on the plane. Also you tend to reduce throttle just before hitting the drop switch so by the time your eyes go back on the plane you are closer to stall speed which does not help when tuning back ! That is an expensive parachute drop. Will you fix it ?
@@ArthurRC When one of my planes has too much throw, I move the linkage out on the control horn or in on the servo arm. I like to keep the servo travel at 100% in my radio. Turning the travel down lowers the resolution of the radio and since the servos don’t move as far, the positioning accuracy of the control surfaces is decreased.
Just trashed my F5J glider in strong winds while in landing pattern , stalled going downwind with a low relative airspeed. Resulting in a nice high speed cartwheel!!! I feel your pain.
@@ArthurRC It was my fault, it was too windy. when it got so far away, I put it in SAFE mode and tried to get some altitude, I figured I would keep it in a wide turn and get it high in the sky so I could see it circling from far away. but the wind kept pushing it farther and farther away. It was over a residential area and I was worried about it hurting someone, so I finally cut the power and let it glide. If we wanted things to be safe, we'd be flying drones.

JPhilippe
Sorry you had such a bad crash! But thank you for your honest video. I hope anyone who has this model can learn and benefit from this. It looks like it can be a great model, but that it must be respected a little more than your average bird. It is always a good idea to get a few mistakes high and do some stall tests so you know what to expect. And you know what type of dangers to stay away from. Again, . . . sorry it bit you so hard.
"Don't watch the thing you drop" is very basic advice. But the reason it is very basic advice is that it is such a natural occurrence -everybody tends to get distracted watching the thing they dropped. We've all done it.
@@ArthurRC Ha ha! Yes my man, I am sorry but you did! We all know that you're a fantastic pilot and a highly informative rc technician. And now we see your human side, shit happens! I hope you have some other planes to fly! 😊
@@ArthurRC I put an Avanti through a fence a couple of months ago, I know the feeling well. I am still disappointed with myself over it. I easily could have avoided it with better judgement. Maybe it's nauve positivity, but I should admit that I might be a better pilot from it. I know, I know, some lessons don't need to be learned by doing when the concept is obvious. But we have to take away some of the value that we've lost. More than just the servos, motors, lights, control rods, and screws. Cheers man! 🍻
Bonjour Arthur.

Full credit to you Mon Amis for taking ownership and showing what happened, many people would have blamed the aircraft and not taken any account for it whatsoever. Playing armchair critic here Arthur, I noticed it was very "Tipstall sensetive" (for want of a better way to explain) on the first flight when you had the rates quite high. Your second flight looked absolutely perfect and spot-on so I think it just demonstrated this aircraft is very sensitive to CG position. This brings me to my last little comment where just before your last flight you mentioned it was very slightly tail heavy however I am assuming you fly it anyway because when you drop the bombs from the Bomb bay it would lose a few grams, next minute, you have a "Tip stall" so without being there, I would hazard a guess and say that the aircraft is definitely a lot more stable towards the front end of the CG envelope (old saying-nose heavy flies again, tail. Heavy flies once.) Very sad to see this happen to such a nice aircraft that I'm hoping to get myself, I definitely have not been put off by your unfortunate incident these things happen. It's just part of the hobby put full credit to you for being totally open and admitting fault and showing the end result-there is a lot of influencers out there that would have blamed everything from a solar flare to the economic crisis in America for what happened to the aircraft if it was them, so you have my full respect there for your transparency. Never a nice thing to see, hopefully motion will send you one of those wonderful "media Coupons" they sent to the Slovenian boys with the B2 so you can replace it. I always trust what you say, because you run the same batteries as me (people in certain parts of the world complain they are heavy, but when these batteries first came into the RC Hobby they were all the same size and shape and weight and it's only since people started taking metal out of the battery to make it smaller and more compact and lighter that everybody got obsessed with weight however CNHL have always stayed relatively true from day one. Hope motion send you a media coupon I will have to give you a ring see how you're doing ! Top marks for a successful maiden, because regardless of the outcome, you still had a successful maiden👍

At lease this plane still available , you can always buy a other one
That's a shame. It shows the truth of "always keep flying the plane, no matter what happens" but these "paratroopers" deployed so nicely, I can understand getting distracted by that.

@@txkflieryes…i always have 3 rates like that I can deal with everything anytime 😇😇
Quelle domage!
Je presque pleure
Bah moi aussi j’ai failli chialer…😧
At least the crew bailed out in time!
Haha yes fortunately 🥳👌🏻
When I see this aircraft I want to see the Doolittle’s Raiders deck takeoff recreated.
Yeah 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Sorry to hear this ☹️, you are a great pilot and watched your videos with the P4o . Appreciate your thoughts abd views .
Oh that’s super kind thank you so much buddy
Fais toi plaisir 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Just trashed my F5J glider in strong winds while in landing pattern , stalled going downwind with a low relative airspeed. Resulting in a nice high speed cartwheel!!! I feel your pain.
Oh shiiiiiiiiiit man 😢 so sorry ! What was your glider ?
@@ArthurRC 3,2m Viator!
@@audigga4396 viator, i don’t know that glider 😊
Sorry about your crash. These things happen. Believe me I know. I had my first motorcycle crash on the 30th and broke my leg. We will be ok.
Thanks buddy thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🥰
don't feel too bad. I recently let my Ultimate 3D fly so far away that it was a speck and I lost it. $450 literally "gone with the wind".
@@ThorneWorthington oh shiiiiit…sorry for that buddy
@@ArthurRC It was my fault, it was too windy. when it got so far away, I put it in SAFE mode and tried to get some altitude, I figured I would keep it in a wide turn and get it high in the sky so I could see it circling from far away. but the wind kept pushing it farther and farther away. It was over a residential area and I was worried about it hurting someone, so I finally cut the power and let it glide.
If we wanted things to be safe, we'd be flying drones.
Oh no…no drones please 😂 just do not fly with gust above 30km/h 😇

My condolences as RC Geek. Said every TV airplane has an expiration date
Sorry yours was so early
Thanks Henry thanks
Can you translate in English please or French (I’m on my phone and I can’t translate that)

Sad for the plane and for you and for us that we couldn´t see that stall :S
Yes indeed 😏
Maybe next time keep your eyes on the plane...was a nice flying plane...mine is still in box...lesson learned. Desole...
Of course yes but that bomber needs speed to fly he careful
Sorry for your loss.
Oh thanks a lot 🙏🏻 do you plan to buy that B-25?
Comment tournaient tes moteurs ?
Chacune vers le fuselage 😇
Why doen"t somebody build an S2F Tracker in electric.
Because it’s not enough well known 😕
Hello Arthur. Aïe. Dur😮.
I don’t usually crash, but when I do……..
Sorry man That sucks. Beautiful plane.
Yep…such a shame 🙈😔 but thank you buddy
Sorry you had such a bad crash! But thank you for your honest video. I hope anyone who has this model can learn and benefit from this. It looks like it can be a great model, but that it must be respected a little more than your average bird. It is always a good idea to get a few mistakes high and do some stall tests so you know what to expect. And you know what type of dangers to stay away from. Again, . . . sorry it bit you so hard.
Yes…that’s an heavy loaded plane so it hates slow speed…and I don’t like planes like that…😢
Sorry for your loss. Always love the hobby, not the plane.
Yep…I do ❤ thanks for your kind words

"Don't watch the thing you drop" is very basic advice. But the reason it is very basic advice is that it is such a natural occurrence -everybody tends to get distracted watching the thing they dropped. We've all done it.
Hey yes…..😢😢😢
😅😅😅😅 that was a test flight…
At least the paratroopers got lucky.
🤣🤣🤣 yeaaaah
That was some erratic flying. Never seen someone fly a warbird so unscale. Sorry for your loss. 😮

Cheers man! 🍻

Heavy flies once.)
Very sad to see this happen to such a nice aircraft that I'm hoping to get myself, I definitely have not been put off by your unfortunate incident these things happen.

So sorry for you my friend , i know how it's suck loosing one of your favorit plane even worst the first day . That's the problem with expensive one , we can not really enjoy them cause we all scare shit like this happen.. I'm not flying my giant LX B-25 as offen i would like for this reason . At lease this plane still available , you can always buy a other one
Thanks buddy but I won’t buy another because it’s a too high wing loaded plane, I don’t like plane which needs speed to fly 😕
So sorry to see this 😢
Yes it’s an expensive crash I’m so sad…
What the heck happened, hope it wasn't reversed ailerons
You’ll see….😕 but it’s just my fault…inattention !
I know that sucked
It happens so quickly.
Yes that’s terrible 😢 we all know that…
Here goes 600$😅
🤣 yes that’s terrible…funny but not that much 😢
That's a shame. It shows the truth of "always keep flying the plane, no matter what happens" but these "paratroopers" deployed so nicely, I can understand getting distracted by that.
Yep that was funny to watch…but I shouldn’t have watched it 😢
Oh sad times mate. Shame there was no footage of the plane going down. Worth repairing? Or buying a new one? Would u like another? Seeing it happens to a great rc pilot like u makes it even more believable that this is part of the hobby. 🇫🇷 🫡 🇬🇧
Yes it happens to all of us 😅 and no I can’t repair it and I won’t buy one because it’s a bit boring for me
