Oh I’m sure you can definitely smell this from a mile away. Been so busy that I missed this release 🤦🏻♂️. Thanks for sharing now to keep an eye out for it. Awesome price as well 👍🥃
Finally, caught up.. with the bottle and your review. Well done, MA. I thought this would be closer to Uigeadail but it just doesn’t press as hard. It’s a crisp, clean and a delicate Ardbeg.
Personally really enjoyed the Auriverde - and have bought a bottle of the limited edition most years since - but was disappointed by the Uigeadail when I tried it recently. Thanks for the review. To buy or not to buy?!
Good to see another Ardbeg review from you! I haven’t seen anything about this coming out near me yet. Do you have US release information by any chance?
Thanks for getting the review out. I went and bought a bottle from the distillery site (£63 + £8 postage). I think it's too expensive for 8 years old but I will reserve judgement until I open it and then the debate will begin. Cheers
@@MaltActivist lol, I hope I'm not too grumpy. On two occasions I bought a litre bottle of Ardbeg 10 in the airport to see me through my travels in Italy and Spain and having one bottle only for the duration made me love that expression and Ardbeg. My big beef these days is the crappy distribution of the Committee and Ardbeg Day releases in the U.K and how we are treated like second class citizens. I'll open my 8 and share notes with you (even though could flip it for £200). You and I sing from the same song sheet. We're only here once and have to enjoy the good life. Cheers buddy. Share that cask with me. WT
New releases for me are a disaster. Since the Grooves Release, everything was disappointing for me. I'm not a Ardbeg fanboy at all so i'm challenging with other distilleries and what is going in the market right now. I'm opening this for a review as well this week, hopefully it can bring me back to the right path with Ardbeg.
Your whisky reviews are not just great, but the most entertaining 👏👏👏👏
Thank you Cliff. That means a lot. Really. I will post a video and wonder whether Cliff will like it or not!
Subscribed to your channel only a few days ago... you put in a lot of effort in your videos. God bless.

Lemme know when you get it!

I would have to agree. Not a bad dram, though.
Nice review, I wonder how it compares to the Uigeadal?
Well the Ooogy is definitely a bigger more intense whisky.

Thanks for the review.

At £57 I think you should

No idea. I just assumed it was also available in the US.

aw man....
@@MaltActivist Cheer up mate. You actually made me become a Committee Member. I'm looking forward to it.
@@welshtoro3256 Let me screenshot this and share it with LVMH for my free cask of Ardbeg....

I like the smell of leather-smoke-burnt rubber- barbecue- earth-moss and stone and a hint of sea
