@@psyk1k986 Until you realize armor doesn't make much of a difference and boiled crabs last a pretty limited time. You're bound to get one-shot at many points as there's often no time to start munching on crabs mid fight. Ng+7 is just one hit galore no matter what you do.

Sure you can prevent yourself from being 1 shot by using uplifting aromatics , ritual shield talisman,and boils crabs...... But anymore than 3 hits from the main bosses without healing will kill ya. Realistically most builds are going for damage because we're used to not getting hit ;/ so when it happens it happens. Like I said.... Ng+7 with a max level character feels like being level 40 on your first playthrough. I never said anything about getting 1 shot and no one here said anything about fashion either 💀. To be fair at higher level you kill enemies about as fast as they kill you. The only exception being melanias ridiculous health bar in +7(she doesn't do very high damage with basic swings though).
I beat it legit, now a lot of times I play with QOL mods just to mess around for the most part. Dumb runs like x10 drops or every enemy is a mosquito lol

Those fuckers are proally stronger than each boss in any playthrough. The one outside , beast clergymans place took me weeks. I might have gotten there way too early playing dora explorer too much but still
So true lmao - I like to kill easier bosses at the very start of the game like Margit, Godrick, etc with +0 weapons for a challenge, then use pretty much everything available to my before draconic tree sentinel to get as op as possible, so then the middle game is a breeze, but then the late game is a better test of skill but also of how well you can maintain a build as the enemies get tougher. Ng+7 enemies are built different tho lol
I just wish in NG+ all the enemies would be scaled to the same power... So that the first enemies/bosses would be a threat. Instead of just oneshoting everything until you get to lategame enemies.

Currently in ng+8 the enemies at the start are pathetic even still. Margit only has 15k health which is litterly mid game ng+0 boss health and this is playthrough fucking 8. Everything being pathetic till endgame on every playthrough is boring and makes the experience the exact same every time.
the funny thing about this is that in my first elden ring playthrough, I leveled nothing but dexterity because I knew that endgame, everything was gonna 1 shot me
Full bull goat armor set stopped me from getting one shot in NG+7. Well, mostly stopped me hhmmm haligtree... Hora loax grabs only delt about half my health bar worth of damage which is less than it did in my first playthrough due to my armor.

Stacking defensive buffs allows you to endure attacks from endgame bosses on ng+7 like you normally would. Playing at meta level is more of a self nerf and arranging stats for optimal build is more interesting than just having all stats at 99 imo, and not wielding maxed weapons when you're at max level sounds kinda weird
That's why I like sekiro, in ng+4 the enemies were almost killing me with one hit but I already knew so much of the mechanics and patterns that I practically speedrun the game

HP can get higher than that actually. Just activating Morgott's great rune would increase it by 25%. Dude actually has a debuff to his HP (check the red square and the down pointing arrow below his stamina bar). Also is using a scorpion charm and has Howl of Shabriri as his first spell. All those increase damage taken by a percentage. Combine it with a decreased % HP and its a recipe for disaster at max NG cycle. Also this boss hes fighting deals enormous amounts of damage in any cycle so ye xD ..
As someone on journey 34 i can relate to this mountain tops. Farum azula and haligtree enemies are more difficult than the bosses. When using dragoncrest greatshield talisman with full bull goat along with golden vow and black flames protection you will die in 6 to 7 hits from a beast man of farum azula even with 70% + physical damage negation
Reminds me of how someone described NG+ in the original Dark Souls: “The first New Game Plus run is just a revenge tour where you get to put out a cigarette in the eye of every enemy who gave you trouble, afterwards the game’s decided you’ve had your fun and reminds you that this is Dark Souls.”
