I've bought a reximex accura 1.77 from wighill Park, very good accurate gun, good shot count.

Bought the Reximex Pretensis .. and when I saw this vid I asked myself the question , WHY ? Apart from a few cosmetic differences ( stock shape & lack of adjustable cheek piece ) ( making the lyra that little bit cheaper )they are essentially the same , or close enough to beggar the question why manufacture something so close? On a side note ( which has little relevance to the vid ) I did quite a bit of pellet testing before I found one that REALLY suited the (apparently heavily choked barrel ) rifle , which I my instance is the Olympia Domed Heavy , cheap , Polish ( I believe ) & accurate , ...

I wouldn’t feel disheartened at all. The Pretensis is a great rifle. The differences you mentioned in your comment do make a more expensive machine. Thanks for watching.

Ain't disheartened at all , im happy with the Pretensis , especially now I've identified a pellet that works well .. those barrel weights / air stripper ( like ) thread protectors are a bit of a " cosmetic add on " as you'll need a moderator for hunting AND back yard shooting , but eh - ho looks cool I suppose ..

I have both pretensis and lyra and prefer lyra due to biathalon cocking lever, lyra doesnt need adjustable cheek piece due to stock shape. Allso have kral np02 and the action is a mirror image of pretensis all good its just down personal taste

People that comment on shooting at 10 yards clearly have no understanding of external ballistics.
Within milliseconds of the projectile leaving the barrel there are only 2 factors affecting the POI.
Wind and gravity, if shooting indoors then only gravity. The POI is set within milliseconds of the pellet leaving the gun so it makes no difference if shooting at 10 or 40 yards. So anyone out there shooting indoors at 50 yards are no better or more skilled than anyone shooting at 10 yards. Why people associate distance with quality and skill is just proving there ignorance of what they are doing.
As for the Gun, I own a Lyra and it’s ok. It will put pellet on pellet but you don’t get to choose exactly where they go, it’s unregulated and you will see when shooting from a full fill down to about 150 bar then it settles down. You could fit a Lane regulator and probably improve it but for me not worth it. It’s a great plinking gun.

I bought a Lyra a couple of months ago. Totally unimpressed. It does nothing better than any of my FAC rifles do.
Shot it a dozen or so times and threw it up into the workshop roof space where it can stay. Buy a CZ instead.

How would you compare this to the JTS airacuda as these have so many similarities?
