This is a great video and insight into how good a pro golfer consistently hits the golf ball. Imagine if Ben Hogan had the use of Trackman back in his day? But the biggest journey in golf is understanding your own swing and working things out for yourself, so you change things on course if you need to.
This is a great full set fitting Mr Elkington, just so I've got this right , you were using x100 shafts at 130 grams , and picked up the Lz shaft out of the demo clubs which is the same profile but 10 grams lighter at 120 g , and they gave you the 5 mph and decent angle 45 towards 50 degrees so you can hold the greens, t100s model 6 to pw, which gave you the ball speed and decent angle and then to keep everything correct you moved to a 4, and 5 in t200 head with the same shaft , that was superb .... So im 58 the same as you and play off 1 handicap and I'm using dynamic gold s300 shafts at 130 grams , so surely for me if the lz shafts are the same profile as the x100 but 10 grams lighter I should change to maybe the dynamic gold xp s300 shafts that only weigh 116 grams which should be the same profile and see if I can get the 5mph per club and decent angle of 45 to 50 ..... Have I got that sought of right , I've been playing s300 shafts my whole life and been struggling for the past 8 years to get my numbers , Wish I'd of known this 6 years ago I would of gone for a full fitting..... Thank you so much Mr Elkington for showing me this, I'm definitely booking in for a full iron session ....
@MichaelShinosky sorry Michael , your right I didn't realise at the time I'd wrote profile in there , ty m8 for pointing that out , always found the x lz shaft to be stiffer in the tip , ty m8 jules
Nothing beats the TSi line right now. I think only the G425 is close. It feels so pure and looks so good.
