Master Jay: “wa Zanzibari hawajui kuimba” ! What an ignorant statement coming from an individual who has a track record of mastering vocal compositions. This is undermined by his lack of knowledge in music from that statement. Zanzibaris were held in high regard musically for centuries. Am sure M jay knows this, so one can only assume that statement came from a prejudicial place. M jay should more be more careful as the diaspora is watching him. Where is the code of conduct amongst judges? Where is the impartiality? This is why as Tanzanians we are struggling to reach the level of standard as our European counterparts. Shame for ST allowing this to happen. SJ baited him out, MJ did not hesitate to show his true colours. If we are to live as United in Tanzania there needs to be reform in Media legislation enforce EDI policies. Maybe the you MH Mwana FA should look into this.
