I have Lumbar Spinal Stenosis, Sciatica in my right leg, A left foot drop, Adult ADHD, Depression, and I have already had back surgery in 2010, have got 4 Cortisone shots with no relief at all, I am 43 years old and have worked since I was 15, and got my Reconsideration denied!!!, I have ALL DR notes and were sent in!!! Why would I be denied?
i applied for disability few months ago, im 46, suffer from mental health issues, post traumatic stress disorder, bi-polar 1 disorder, knee surgeries, arthritis in knees and ankles, some in the hips and arthritis in back, suffer from slipping discs almost at every time i turn , twist, or bent or reach wrong, the disability board is sending me to see a medical doctor for review, one of there choosing, I dont have an attorney, and not sure what to expect by this medical examination coming up in 17 days,,, any directions you have for me,,, im 46 and am a vet. and have worked most my life since i was 16 , but i always quit my jobs for failure to cope,,, was discharged from military for failure to cope, saw my friend shot by MPs after losing his grip after returning from Desert Storm in 91',,,, i dont know what am doing, been living in denial for 7 years that i suffer from a form of mental illness, and refused through these years to apply, but always have gone to doctors appointments. What directions do you have for me.
I went through the social security disability process and was approved for severe back problems within six months. When I watched this video I fell into each category that you had stated. I was at my company for over 27 years and did not want to give it up. But I was at the point where I was worn out from having back surgeries just to get me back on my feet to go out again for the same issue. You are right Mr Ginsberg. Why would anyone, including myself, give up all those years in their company to go on disability?? I do believe that my accurate and current medical records helped in making a quick favorable decision. Thank you for posting these informative videos.
Hello mr. Jonathan my name is alex. I live in California.. I've been suffering for back pain very bad for years .. I gone through 4 times injections .. Nothing has worked. I'm taking very strong medication morphine,Percocet,Soma .. on June 8, 2016.. I'm going through a discogram in August 10th I'm going through a fusion surgery.. I cannot live with pain no more it's very hard for me to work to even to function and live normal everything that I do..I feel pain.. I could pretty much feel bone touching bone my question.. can I apply for Social Security.. I have records of seeing a spine surgeon he told me I have a 7 millimeter bolge and 3 bad disc... I'm still working I am a driver..I'm in so much pain but I cannot stop working because my family depends on my paycheck.. please help and advise me what can I do thanks!!!...
I've had back problems for 20 years, I was diagnosed with arthritis in 2004. I worked until 2015. I was fired from my job after being wrote off from my Dr, when they found out I had foraminal stenosisin my neck, 3 discs effected by DDD, my nerves are narrowing,my discs are narrowing, I have carpol tunnel, and emphysema, I tried working, I lost 2 jobs in a matter of 8 months! it has caused depression, and anxiety, which I'm going to couciling for! I have filed for disability,not that I want to, I'd rather work, I worked for over 30 years, any suggestions?
