I learned that getting approved is mostly based on technicalities and the way you answer questions and even if you have medical records and history of your disabilities you can loose your case if you fail to answer questions the way the judge is expecting you to answer them... I had my hearing and I was approved on the same day,, but even with all my records and history!? The. Way I answered the questions was more important then the records,,, thank you for all this valuable information, i watched your videos the entire night before my hearing and it really made a difference in preparing myself to answer the questions,, thank you..

My hearing is in one week and my attorney has not practiced anything with me. Only met him once and all he did was hand me a paper with possible questions I would be asked and said a few other things so fast I didn't understand. Then rushed me and my mom out of his office. A few days later I got a letter from him that had a copy of something he sent to the judge about how I would explain my issues and how they keep me from working. I am so confused and anxious about my hearing because I still don't know what I am supposed to do. I am terrified that I have to speak to a stranger about physical and emotional problems. I have a hard time explaining myself to a family member. And sometimes they don't even understand what I mean. I wish my attorney would have taken the time to actually talk to me, or someone who works for him. The judge may throw my case out just cause I can't explain myself correctly or get the words out of my mouth. Thanks for these videos. I have watched many of them and learned a lot. I just hope I don't forget what you said. I hope my brain doesn't freeze up on me. Thanks for letting me respond. Good luck to everyone else out there going through this.

Great videos. I’ve been watching your channel for the past year while awaiting my hearing. My lawyer two days out had over one hour phone conversation with me and 30 minutes with me face to face before the hearing. I got a fully favorable decision two days ago. My lawyer said I couldn’t have answered the judge’s questions any better. Did my homework retaining this highly reputable lawyer and did my part making all of my appointments and personally getting my medical records to the lawyer. Thank you for great videos that have been beneficial to me while I awaited my hearing that only took almost 29 months.

GOD bless you Attorney Ginsberg, you have made me aware of how the social security actually views terms I was not aware of were actually not matching my thoughts. My plans were to retire at 70 years old, I love working however my body and back had other plans. You have also made me aware of the taxing position these Judges endure in their jobs. GOD bless them as well.

Your videos are always helpful. Its good to actually analyze how you sit, stand & walk while you are sitting, standing and walking. I used to think standing & walking were the same thing. I always knew sitting was the main problem but found out I have a much harder time standing than walking.

THANK YOU THANK YOU - it’s so so incredibly validating to hear you describe how sitting in a chair is dramatically different from sitting in a recliner with feet up! If I could sit even on a soft floor or on a mat on the floor, with my back up against the wall, I might actually almost be able to work my PT shift with less pain.
All of the ergo people and HR people don’t seem to understand that sitting, regardless of whether it’s an ergonomic chair or whether or not, I have a foot rest, it’s always working some part of my stressed back - whether it’s my lower back or my thoracic. And that having hands out reaching out or to keyboard is another strain, particularly since my fingers are disfigured from osteoarthritis and don’t work as well - I have to lean over the keyboard a little bit to pound down with my fingers. Which, of course is added to my cervical spine issues.
Thank you for letting me vent :-) and thank you for the validation describing how tedious business “sitting” is, even when allowed to stand up regularly.

Thank you. I have to face my appeal hearing on the 8th of September by myself because my advocate, who knew my case inside and out, was through Kansas DCF and they laid her off during the covid shutdown. I was supposed to have someone else assigned and they said they would be on the call for my hearing in April, but they never called in, and I was too scared to do it alone so I rescheduled. I got lucky to get a new date even in this year! Now I am scared because part of my problem is memory issues, I have forgotten the date and time of this hearing so many times, and I just looked at the paper 5 minutes ago and can't remember the time! I've been fighting for this for over 5 years and when we filed the appeal LAST YEAR, me and the advocate I liked, they assigned me to a case worker at social security that turned out to not even exist!!! My advocate took her own time and went there to fix the problem and they didn't even give me a new worker, they just passed me around. We would send them files, while in the phone with them, and they would say they got it, but then a week later they would tell us they never got it! More than 3 times they sent me a letter saying my CD was enclosed, but there was no CD. I told the judge this in April and I FINALLY got a copy. I was in a car accident January 31st this year and it made my spine and hip issues so much worse, I'm supposed to have a case against the driver that hit me but I haven't been able to see a specialist because of the shut down and because I'm on Kansas state Medicaid. The MRIs were paid for by my car insurance, and reimbursed by the defendant's insurance, but I haven't been able to get the disability office a copy and I haven't had a specialist look at them, just my PCP and the radiologist that read the MRIs. I also finally got an appointment with the epilepsy neurology specialist, for my sleep seizures, narcolepsy, migraines, and vision/eye problems, but not until 2 days AFTER my hearing! Could you help me?

Same here my case was dragged out for over 6 years and my attorney told me to come in an hour before the hearing so he could prep me and he never did and he said that we didn't have time and we honestly did because we was an hour early before the time scheduled for the court hearing in front of the judge they just wanted to get it over with. I had the worst attorney and wish to God i would have seen these videos before my hearing because basically i went in there blind without knowing what to say only the truth. Even though my attorney was absolutely horrible and he never hardly answered my phone calls i sti almost won and i believe it's because they didn't want me to get all that backpay because even the judge had brought up how much money i had made and i worked for it. I was still waiting on records because i just had started seeing a dr not long before the hearing was called and my attorney should have asked for a continuance and i guess it's because i was at the age of 49 and now I'm 50 and i have alot more evidence and thanks to watching all his videos I've learned alot plus Mr.. Ginsberg looked over my case for me and recommended an attorney that would be closer for me because i wish i could have had him as an attorney and the law firm that he recommended they answer my calls each and everytime. But before i sign all the paperwork I'm gonna make sure that i have all the tests done that they're fixing to do so i have all the evidence to support the rest of my case. Thank you Mr. Ginsberg for all you're help it's much appreciated.

hello Jonathan Ginsberg is that a real courthouse in the Social Security office where does it get its power separations of power is illegal the judge just hired but he cannot bring his courtroom or the alj what about the clerk all evidence must pass through the clerk and have the clerk seal and Stamp of the clerk plus there's no docket number on any of the Appeals filed with the clerk shouldn't the clerk be inside the hearing recording during the hearing how can the Appeals Council overturn a judge final order did they attend law school or pass the bar exam only a federal court could over turn are change the alj or administrative law judge unfavorable decision all documents must have the clerk signature and date and seal and docket number working outside the courtroom is it legal fraudulent the appeal council is higher than the judge and can change a court order I don't think so. only a federal court could change administrative law judge decision something's wrong here it looks legal but it's not
