10.0 Russia is actually crazy especially if you have all 4 premiums and tech tree vehicles. Like you can have the t-80, t72, 2s38 and su-25k. My 10.0 line up is the t-72 turms, t-80b, t-72b, t-72b(1989), su25k, 2s25m, bmp-2m. What I’m trying to say is we need to stop adding 10.0 Ussr tanks and focus on others. Like seriously 10.0 is the hell of war thunder

You can also have crazy powerful event vehicles like the 292, Moderna and BMD-4 (ik it's at 9.0 but it can hold it's own at 10.0 no problem) too
fucked up that other nations dont even get 10.0 premiums most of the time. either that or they only get 2 9.3 ground vehicles at max.
There's really no denying that this game has an insane Russian bias that's getting too obnoxious.
I personally think the 10.0 br was killed with the 292 so it’s it already dead adding this is overkill so if you’re not doing Russia you’re not doing 10.0 plain and simple
I have all vehicles in my 10.0 lineup and they’re good tanks, it’s just half the time your team gets stomped

Hope not, the TURMS is the best one of the premiums, definitely the one most worth buying.

What is wild to me is everyone forgets about the T-72 89
for real. I really enjoy the T-72B 89 and wonder how the T-80UD is compared to it
Because it’s a T-72 with almost no significant features to make it stand out on top of being a foldered vehicle. The ERA is cool and all but the weak points are exactly the same regardless. Nobody was putting rounds through the turret armor before the ERA was there same with the upper front plate (barring some ATGMS and maybe the 292 but most of those are either stopped by normal ERA so the upgrade does not matter or are tandem and ignore the upgraded ERA) it’s pretty much identical to all the other T-72s in the game after the A model (except the Moderna where it actually has something unique) with all the same weaknesses and strengths.

I picked it up and like it. The armor bounces a decent amount of shells but I think its fine at 10.0 just having literally no reverse speed gets me killed most of the time. And not having thermals is rough.
Same on 292. I already hated the tree maps as is, and now all enemies are very mobile (even m60`s). And then you get stuff like swedish tanks, that blend VERY well with environment due to their paintjob.

292 is a death machine. Can pen top tier Abrams cheeks. And has deadly HE with Lrf. It's basically too strong.

@@General_kenobi12 Let's hope you're right. It's true that money is the only metric they care about (looking at you, broken OP 2S38 fantasy PUMA), but on the other hand I remember the T-55AM-1. I wouldn't put it past Gaijin to decide that Soviet 10.0 is saturated, let's start a 10.3 line-up like the other nations.

I ended up buying the T-80UD btw, great machine.
Only thing special about this is the 6.5 second reload.... not worth the money imo if you already have the t72b 1989.

This is better than the Turms in every way except for not having thermals. Thermals are important at BR 11 so it's hard to say which would be better. I guess it depends on the map.

Its best premium to grind russia tectree. I have it paired with turms-t and t-80uk with talisman. Grind is going super fast
Why would you use an 11.3 tank, you would be getting constant up-tiers to 11.7 where the turms and t80ud (no thermals) would suffer. Better off tanking the uk out of the lineup and playing at 10.0 so you can potentially stomp 9.7 and below players
I get what you saying but if you know what you do and how to play with those tanks 11.3 is not even bad. I get almost every game 5+ kills and my win prosent is over 50%

If it goes up to 10.3 it won’t effect anything it would have to be minimum 11.0 to have a slight effect 10.3 always fights 10.0 same with 10.7 so it would have no effect

The UD diesel only has an 4.2 km/h reverse speed, the gas turbine U has an 11 km/h reverse
It has a weaker Diesel engine and the T-72 transmission, so it gets the poor 4 kph reverse gear.
T80 with a T72 transmission, no thanks
This thing seriously needs to be 10.3
Actual downsides are no thermals and poor reverse speed, while it basically outclasses everything in armor, has insane reload, amazing shell, and an improved atgm compared to the T80 at 10.3 in the tech tree.
To compare, the Merkava Mk.2D is 9.7 and barely has over 400 mm of pen with super low speed. On top of this it has an 8.7 second reload which doesnt even come close to the T80ud XD

And insane reload is the reload that is worse than its competitors on an advanced crew.

@@worldoftancraft It practically has the same level of protection as the 72b 1989, as well as the T-80U (sweden 11.0), UK T-90 (10.3), and the previously mentioned tech tree T-80B (10.3). "typical NATO enjoyer" Maybe don't say crap about people you don't know. I've put research into USA, Germany, Russia, Sweden, and Israel, and have also purchased a fair share of premiums from each said country.
As for reload, yeah it's slightly worse than expert or aced 7.8 sec MBT's. It's also better than aced 8.7 sec MBT's, and has faster auto loading than every other MBT auto loader in the game except for tanks such as itself at 11.0 and above.
It's a Moderna with better reload, better armor, better turret rotation, better heatfs, and fires atgms. This vehicle definitely isn't 10.7, but it also isn't 10.0.

While i had such magnifique experience of shooting space when i go forward on a Russian tank, and because of veri advensid implementation of FCS in game, game doesn't react anyhow on you hitting some debris(like smashed car) or a road bump and allow you to shoot your raised barrel(stabilizer is limited in the functioning by the depression and elevation angles) into damned space. Not into enemy
10.0 is a huge joke right now with all these premiums and event vehicles for russia. Turms, moderna (its 10.3 but its not making that difference), T80UD, object 292, 2s38, BMP-2M, SU-25K... Bruh, like wtf

Not on the hull. The Hull armor has a plate 15mm less than a normal T-80U. Even then, t72B has overall better hull armor than T-80s.

My russia is 5.0 except for the Objekt 292. Grind was insane, leveling them up now but im waiting for the turms to go on sale

For me 292 is much better. Crazy gun with good reverse speed. Someone will say it still slow around 10km/h reverse but no. For ussr 10km/h is like god speed.
T 80UD is middle of between TURM and 72b(89).
If one have to go up? TURM not 292 or 80UD.

Honestly. The merkavas mk1 and 2B need to be 9.0 like the American merkava. The merkava 2D needs to be 9.3 and get the M426 (I think?) Shell; the same one the gal batash has.

T-80UD is crap in my opinion, T-80B is much better due to thermal sight and better engine and reverse speed.
The T-80B is simply a more dynamic tank that allows for more. For me it's the equivalent of the Leopard 2a4.
I was really disappointed, I was hoping that this premium would be a copy-paste T-80B or at least have normal mobility, including good reverse speed, but unfortunately I was disappointed.
Without joking, I can say that if they added the T-80B premium, it would soon be the best-selling premium tank of this nation.
The T-80B is simply very dynamic and 11 km/h in reverse is simply what most Soviet MBTs lack.

I got the Turms and the 2s38 after grinding the 292 to have a lineup with it. I was only 5.7 in Russia at the time. 9.0 in the German line. I love the lineup, and it pisses so many people off to get rekt by premiums. I've never got the hate messages like I do when I do well with the turms or 2s38, I get the most vile messages lol.
This is why I'll never play beyond 7.7

How many ppl play T-72B nowadays? Not so many. Why? Leo2a4/cv90105/other wheelbois with thermal spam can rush&camp traditional soviet "tanky" tanks to ****. Why T72AV and 2s38 popular? Cus they either have wonderful sight with thermal so they can go sniping at longer distance, or deal with fastbois effectively.
Get obj292 + talisman instead, or at least wait for a few minor patches see if it moves to 10.3 or higher.

Massive Skill Issue if you ask me. NATO >>> USSR MBT's by far. The only saving grace for 10.0 Russia is Strela and the sheer ammount of $ purchasable fodder.
I mean this thing should be 10.3 because it powercreeps all of the other 10.0s with the exception of the Obj 292 which itself is under tiered.
M1 Abrams is a bit sad with its round but assuming the player can aim, the superior mobility and handling on the leopards and abrams makes them better than the Russian 10.0 tanks.

@@worldoftancraft You just act defensive because you have probably ground out or purchased this vehicle. That is understandable. The Abrams with the M60 honestly seems kinda crap to me, terrible mobility with no proper lineup. I would rather use the Stryker.
By my stat card I am actually a Russia main.
It’s just that this is getting out of hand. 10.0 Russia was already pretty insane, but the Object 292 being 10.0 is absurd. T-80U armor and mobility with more firepower at 10.0 with minor trade offs is outrageous.
I may just become a NATO main now. Playing unbalanced vehicles gets really boring really fast. I’ve recently started enjoying the fast paced gameplay mobility of the NATO stuff.

The T-80UD should definitely be 10.3. T-72B(1989) is where the line should be drawn on how strong a 10.0 can be while still being 10.0. The T-72B(1989) is slower, and has worse optics.

Yes you should. It's broken overpowered and under-br'd like the 292, 2S38, TURMS-T, KA-5(x)'s, and SU-25s. If you want a point and click adventure on easy mode, buy and play any of those vehicles.

One can get used to it especially if the optics themselves are good (Zoom, FOV) but thermals are definitely a good thing.
