@@brendasorenson6186 To me,Jazzy Rob shows up in the Boys To Men cover. He could sing anything and whistle anything. What a blessing he shares his talent with us.
So goofy, but so much fun. It's pretty amazing that rappin' Rob is the same guy who shone in Nessun Dorma. There is a video on Chris Rupp's channel with some BTS stuff on this.
This was Home Free's April Fools' video from 2015❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ Rob's musical whistling is just remarkable! 😙 And watching Tim do the beatboxing as he harasses Rob when Adam does the dj scratching is hilarious 😆 Eric "Buegs" Buegler is one of Rob's good friends. His short overalls is a reference to Maddie & Tae's video called "Girl in a Country Song". Check it out--makes Buegs' antics here even funnier 🤣 #HomeFree
I have a feeling that the Fat Bottomed Girls section was originally intended to be longer - there's an awful lot going on that doesn't get developed. The producers of the SingOff wanted the band to perform Country Girl Shake It For Me, whereupon they drew themselves up to their considerable height and said no, they weren't that sort of crude country. Some time later ... here it is. Glad you enjoyed this. I second the suggestions for Country Fried Pop Medley, one of Austin's occasional forays into arrangement but a masterpiece.
I guess Chris Rupp had the idea for this, came up with a list of songs, then gave it to Layne Stein of VoicePlay to arrange. He and his brother Adam then took that arrangement and massaged it a bit for their particular talents. I loved hearing how the record scratching is done. Adam seems particularly good at it. There's another video they did (House Party) where he's playing the dj at a party, and people complained in the comments about them "using instruments" because they didn't realize that's just him making those sounds.
The Country Pop Fried Meddley is an even bigger madness in mashing up song - I think it's 17 songs if I remember correctly put together absolutely seemlesly 😂
Thank you for your wonderful reaction. Im so glad Chris Rupp thought of it. I love his humor! 😂 It always brings me so much joy! Chris, Adam and Layne (voiceplay) arranged this awesome remix.
This is truly Home Free. 🥰 Sometimes I can get tears in my eyes because it is so emotional 😢and other times I have those tears too but from laughing😂. But always it's so good!!! And than Rob's amazing whistling and rap. This is just hilarious. 🤣 Also pay close attention to what is happening in the background
I think you are the first reactor I've watched who didn't get their mind blown away by overalls man aka Beugs (Eric Beugler, Rob's friend and partner in crime for the podcast Avid Indoorsman)! 😂
The whip!! You’re the only one to mention the whip sound! I hear it all the time. Rob is the whistler….he’s a great whistler. You are a good beatboxer. You help explain how wonderful Adam is, thank you. Yes and Austin doing all that background sound. Yes, Tim with the head banging….hahaha, I didn’t notice it for awhile. Good one!!!🤣😍
Thanks for your reaction! Beatboxer, Layne Stein, from Voice Play helped with the arrangement of this one (Voice Play and Home Free have been close friends since the 'Sing Off' and sing off tour they did together after the show starting in 2013).
❤ I enjoyed this reaction SO MUCH! I really enjoy seeing how you obviously feel the music you react to. I am a 68 yr.old woman, which (if you do the math) means I grew up in the 60's/70's listening to some of the BEST music ever written/recorded. There was a LOT of interesting, "new" stuff done with music then. I was always most interested in the lyrics/singing. But my brother played the drums and that made me especially aware of that aspect of the music. It was a special treat when a new song came out and there some unexpected sound effect on it that turned out to have been made vocally. (the first one that comes to mind is "The Letter" by The BoxTops where at the very end of the song there is the sound of a jet plane landing. But while it wasn't common there were numerous other times it was done. I guess that is why I especially enjoyed your comments on the beat boxing in this reaction. I could NEVER do most of it as but I love learning how the various sounds are made! I am looking forward to seeing more of your reaction videos.
This is one of the silliest videos they have made. I still don’t know most of these songs, but what they did with it is phenomenal. So glad you enjoyed it! For more light-hearted comedy, you should check out Brother.
Did you notice Tim eating the Ham Sammich?😂 Rob is so versatile as are all they guys I’m pretty sure they can do anything. If you want to see Austin Rap This Is How We Roll ( The Big Lebowski parody) Guilty Pleasures (Hilariously Derailed ) It’s live fan cam video.
In an interview Chris Rupp (black cowboy hat) said this was his pet project. His sister had worked with a modeling agency and that's where most of the women were from. Since they didn't want to objectify the women, the only 'butts' are theirs. The man in the one shoulder overalls at the end is 'Beugs", a friend of Rob's who co-hosts on Rob's podcast "The Avid Indoorsman". BTW, the can all beatbox to a degree (see "Mayday Live", "Joy to the World Hosannah").
Tim's low bass voice and they are hilarious and funny. Rob did a good on rapping and Adam did a great beatboxing. What Austin said at the start of this song is funny. Chris did his part. The energy they have i wish i had 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Another fun one is All About That Bass, their cover of the Megan Trainor song. There are so many awesome songs to choose from, but a few more are, Fishin' In The Dark/Down In The Boondocks mashup, Sea Shanty (I'd start with the official video before the live one), Do You Hear What I Hear (arranged by Adam Rupp) and the live video of them doing 9 To 5, where you can hear all the guys beatboxing. HF is just so amazing! 😊
These guys are so much fun ... and better in person , if you can believe it ! Saw them in person recently and can" t wait to see them live again ! #HOMEFREE
Great reaction! This is such a fun mashup of songs. Very cleverly done from one song to another. The talent these guys have is phenomenal. They have so much fun but the vocals never suffer. And Adam's beatboxing is on another level. Home Free was very respectful in this video about not exploiting or offending any women.
I love the fact that these guys can sound good whether they are making you cry, roll on the floor laughing, or just think hard about a serious topic. They are just so good with those tight harmonies. I have a recommendation for you. It's their cover of "Everybody walking this land".
From what I recall from Chris Rupp's reaction to this song, he actually told Layne what songs he wanted in the medley and Layne arranged the whole thing.
I love this one so much and i always go back to it when i need a laugh. I'm also a bit worried i know the lyrics to so many songs about backsides . LoL. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.
This one is so much fun to watch repeatedly since they’re so much happening. I am so happy you noticed Tim’s head banging during “Fat Bottom Girl”! I rarely see anyone notice or comment on it! It’s one of my favorite parts of the video! I’m a Rocker at heart. My first love of music is Rock! Of course, who wouldn’t love Rob’s rap, and Tim beatboxing behind him probably spitting all over him! Lol Tim can do basic beatboxing. Actually, they all have done some within the group on some live performances. One is “9 to 5” a few years ago. Loved your reaction to this one! You definitely had a blast watching it!
The idea for the medley was Chris rupp. The guy in the black cowboy hat and brother to Adam And they are the cofounders of home free. The person who did the arrangement is layne stein the beatboxer For voice play
i just love this group and have seen them live 3 times. Their show is the complete package. BTW, Adam is a trumpet player so I guess it gives him that control. Chris Rupp arranged this. You should check out their Country Fried Pop Medley it's another masterpiece. Which do you prefer Rappin Rob or Opera Rob?
Dude! You were laughing so hard you missed the fat guy in short overalls not twice for four times!!! Watch that last sequence again! He's hilarious! He's a friend of Rob's and reportedly has no shame! It's important to note that no women's butts where exploited in the medley! It was all their own! This medley is priceless! Now watch Tim performing Why Do Fools Fall in Love (with puppies!). It is so cool and Tim shows off his 5 octave range!
I noticed him, his presence just added to the laughter rather than me calling direct attention to him. And I don't have any opinions on butts in and of themselves. They could have had any butts (or no butts) and the impression of the medley and video would still be the same to me. I think it should be clear that Home Free sticks to their values and chooses what to showcase in their videos, which is their prerogative; that said, I find it more comical that the guys highlighted their own butts consistently and in goofy fashions xD
While I sit watching and you geeking out over the beat boxing, it comes to mind… You have to react to Home Free 9 to 5 live with beat boxing break out. You’ll love it!!!! It will add yet another dimension to Rob 😊
This is a fun medley and a great reaction. I love that Layne from Voiceplay helped with the arrangement. It's great that the guys help each other out. ✌️❤️🍑
These guys are extremely talented. Keep checking them out. They have fun songs and beautiful songs and sad songs. Check out How Great Thou Art. It is the most beautiful version I have ever heard. Love your reaction and analysis!

"unapologetically themselves" - I don't think I have heard a better description of Home Free.
So goofy, but so much fun. It's pretty amazing that rappin' Rob is the same guy who shone in Nessun Dorma. There is a video on Chris Rupp's channel with some BTS stuff on this.
