Frank, having driven a lot of company 10 speeds mostly in Centurys and owning a 13 Century I can honestly say the 13 is nice but not really worth it. Cruising rpm with a 10 or a 13 is about the same. The big idea behind a 13 is splitting the ratios for special occasions. Considering where and how you run a 10 spd would be quite adequate and far simpler to maintain and/or replace. Jus sayin...
@@lifewithfranknitty no lie i would go head first with the gun customization if you able to live off the income … been tryna figure some out to do other than trucking
Sheesh, was NOT expecting you to go the Coronado route . Knowing that’s my dream truck. Shiiid wish RSC didn’t only do flatbed. IF that’s the choice of company you going with.
A taken care of 12.7 is not a money pit. Not even close. That’s one of the cheapest trucks to own and maintain. Def problems are a money pit. Ppl can overhaul those engines for 10-12k how much is a one box again & that’s just one piece of the after treatment. Good lord
Great choice. 13 speed is the only way. Salute 🫡 . 🔥 mix you got going. And I’d drive it 3-6 months before I cash it out. Just make sure you don’t overpay too crazy trucks are still cheap. Look at Richie bros auction and sell lotts to see what those trucks went for the last 6 months.
