When we had the Conococheague in our backyard, I used to make jewelry and windchimes out of broken pottery and interesting stones. Now a portion of it is hike up the street in town. I took some pottery and cleaned it up and glued it on a wreath that hangs on our door. Might go creek stomping next year and look for more. IDK
I’m addicted to your uploads every day. You didn’t upload yesterday and I was having withdrawals! Lol. I enjoy your videos so much. I know it’s a lot of work but it is greatly appreciated!
Tamara, I agree I check Cliff's channel every night ,and if nothing new I watch videos again .Part of a daily routine like watching the news .Awesome content
This is like hunting sea glass…..very addicting! 😊. That bit of teacup was a great find. I am sure you know about the field off South Ft. Zeller’s Road for arrowheads. We used to live in that little development just south of Main Street/419 and often saw people In there looking for arrowheads.
At the tunnel in this video is historically where you can find the last bit of snow in Lancaster County due to the cold air and water temperature and lack of sun.
When I was a young kid I use to pick up small pieces of colored glass off the dirt roads walking around where I lived & would give them to my granny I called them my crystals she saved them in a small jar. Also living out in the country my brother & cousin found alot of arrowheads, pretty cool stuff. Nice video Cliff 🙂👍🌷
Hi everybody.. Im from Germany.. and these white-blue pottery.. It look like from the tome of 1700-1850.. It was here in Notrthern Germany and the Nederlands a normal thing in the time to but not in poor households. would be interesting if it was from people who were from the old world and smashed it away maybe richer people from a treck and made a break on the way. The brounish roun thing ike a plate.. is interesting..yoiu shul take it with you and clean it up.. Later the little split of brownish part (pottery??) ..was really old..
The arrowheads we find that aren't completed, we call them "almosts" lol! I know in east TX you can find TONS of arrowheads made from petrified wood. What we find here in cent. TX is mostly made from chert. You have some cool finds.
The rocks are all just rocks. Arrowheads are made of flint, primarily, and are obviously shaped. You would notice the flake marks around the edges from flint knapping. The pottery could be older, but similar styles are produced through contemporary times, so it could also just be modern refuse.
Yeah, at 19:17 I think that is natural because the real Indian arrowheads, they had experienced flint knappers :: they would make their arrowheads thin but a sharp as a razor. It had to slice through the first time .. Good Find though ... Quartz .. .
Hi, those pieces of Quartz really did look like arrowhead points didn't they ?, I would have taken them home too. A beautiful little creek, thank you for sharing your walk with us. x
I don't think any of the quartz you picked up are arrowheads, they're too thick and lack knapping marks. Although, it is hard to tell from watching a video. Thanks for posting!
The site's name was later given to natives that lived near by. Then the people were destroyed by the susquehannok indians. The item you found looks similar to the "Peque point" however without handling it I can't say for sure. Though they are predominantly made of white quartz.
Ok too funny once again.... I got to the part with the Cicada.... and just today I pulled a gnarled one away from a feral cat I help to look after.... this cat did not kill it... it was actually chewed up before she got to it... I am wondering if the males fight with each other or the females and males fight upon mating... I saw two mating and one had a big chunk missing out of his body but it was still alive....it did not want to give up its mate for the life of him lol... it was kinda gross to see, today this one I saw was in the same shape....
Looks like you have a great Creek to look on and that fort big one you found was definitely a good faker but keep looking brother if you can find fakers you can find real ones
You take us on greatest adventures! Thank you for taking folks with you.
Top notch scenery Cliff and some pretty neat finds...really enjoyed this adventure!

At 18:54 that's an awl. Its used for wood working and poking holes in stuff. The notch poking out was the working part
“Not way up, but a ways up the creek”. This is so PA.
Beautiful scenery.

A very enjoyable walk along!
Greetings from Allentown.😀👍

Really liked that old cast iron piece.
You found some interesting bits and pieces. The old pottery is pretty. Lovely place.
Just found a whole canning lid like the ones you found, metal detecting in Holtwood on the 27th. Love the videos
You diffently need a brighter flash light.
Always enjoy wandering with you. You find such interesting places
You are a great story teller. Love your adventures.

Avery Zucco yep 👍
The jar lid looks like milk glass. It is amazing how the tunnel does not show signs of wear.
Love all your finds!!! The cast iron pan was really cool!!!! Gorgeous place!
Arrowheads are typically underneath the earth, and can be found easily in cow pastures. That’s where I have found some.
Really enjoyed that. Scenery is just wonderful
What did say in the tunnel? lol Thanks for such a beautiful hike. Glad you found a few things.

Enjoyed it and you did get neat stuff! Mission accomplished.
Awesome tunnel. I've seen one with a brick arch roof along the river in New Cumberland, but no stream running through it.
Love the old cast iron skillet, probably a Griswold.

I remember I collected rocks on the bike trial by my home XD These videos are a fun reminder of all the fun people can have outside!😁👍
really cool video man. i like this type where you’re walking around exploring a creek. love the videos!
Good to see some running water. So dry here in WV..

The shiny rocks, could that be iron pirate? Or are you pretty certain it's mica.
Beautiful Quartz. Fools gold iron pirite. Lols. I would end up with a car load of rocks... Not arrow maybe spear.
That piece around 20:00 looks like it could have been an arrow that once started was found not to cleave the right way.
Love the video it’s so beautiful there
I’m soo dumb. I thought his hat said Old Fart Niagara

cool
The sparkly rocks are called fools gold, I have one of them very neat & pretty
When you come to a place for a second or third time, do you notice erosion that is natural and different from what you saw before?
7:36 and this is why we boil or filter our water.
YAY . a tunnel without senseless graffiti. And a waterfall - bonus!
Cool adventure! I bet all the arrowheads (if there) have already been found?
It looks like that "arrowhead" was naturally made to me, didn't look man made but who knows
I don’t get it. The pan looked like a good find. I know it’s not what he’s looking for but it was definitely a keeper if it’s that old
Looks like you have a great Creek to look on and that fort big one you found was definitely a good faker but keep looking brother if you can find fakers you can find real ones
Please don't touch dead birds with your fingers! I'd miss you and your videos 😊
I didn't know that! We find them at work now and then I always grab them and toss them out never thought twice!
Touching them is fine! Just wash your hands afterward!
