Hello Wander Women. I had never heard of that area before. Reminds me a lot of the bad lands except with a little less height and more color. Pretty cool. Looks like Pikes Peak is starting to lose some of its snow. Be safe and well!
Theres nothing like having a great memory with the land. Whether its a picnic, a campout or a meaningful hike. A grandparents sharing of the land is priceless. You are blessed! Peace
I had never heard of the Paint Mines. Was that area sacred to the native people? There's a place in Kansas that is called the Pyramids that is similar to this. I used to take my grandmother and her friends there. I believe they are chalk cliffs. Thank you, ladies for this video. You're really touching a part of me that I had lost. Thank you.
Very interesting hike. You always find amazing outdoor places to go. There must be an awful lot of hiking to do around your area. Keep taking us along. Take care, be safe.
Love this..very pretty..very neat. Loved the Grandma story . One of my Grandmothers was ALWAYS making something..quilts or clothes or little wooden churches.. Or whatever came to mind. She played a couple of instruments by ear..Just a strong hard working woman. Loved the story..❤ Thanks for sharing. 👍
Great video, glad to see you enjoying the beauty of Colorado. I actually just posted a video on my channel hiking up Pikes Peak with my dog if you are interested in viewing!
@@wanderwomenkristyannette5021 Great, the Barr trail I hear is almost in summer conditions. I have heard microspikes are recommended for the last few hundred feet.
