Funny how he shames Luke and describes him as being in the lowest place a person can be. Meanwhile, I’m over here romanticizing his entire character lol
Tyler Durden vibes
It's relatable to most of us

@@OriqinLCinemaif you romanticize characters like tyler durden something is wrong with you and you need to develope yourself

His tattoos and look were super cool
The face tattoo was a little overkill...
Tim Webb it’s almost like a non realistic character kind of like in drive. Fairytale type thing except not s fairytale lol
The hair was a mistake
I literally have his haircut and look like him
Now we know Ryan probably thinks tattooed people are a bunch of shallow, unthinking dicks.... Lol
My right ear enjoyed this.
do you regret the ear ring in your right ear too
Lol I thought it was me
Damn, 9 years ago? How’s it going man
I'm so glad he kept the face tat
themaninthe suit he kept it for the film, he almost didn’t keep it for the movie.
@@wehaveworktodoson ofc he kept it, can’t you tell?
I’ve met him in real life. Had multiple conversations with him. He’s a real cool dude. Very nice, and very down to earth, and a classy person.
Where’d you meet him?
suuuure
you met me
He certainly seems to be all of those things.
My right ear LOVED this video. My left, not so much
😂
😂😂😂😂
finally an interviewer who asks very intelligent questions, not just the generic ones from every gosling interview. thanks!
i didnt like her. she didnt ask him about his workout routine, his diet, what does he use for his skin, how hes wooing women. thats what i expect from a holywood interview not these intelligent relevant questions

bruh his character was the best part of the movie and i did not get any “surface level” vibe from his appearance and it definitely gave the character depth
man was a trendsetter. 2016/17 everybody dyed their hair and wore metallica t shirts with tats 😂🔥
People been doing that since the 80s homie
What a good explanation and insight on how Luke Glanton came to the realization of who he was in the world. In many other instances with Ryan's character he killed it. Same goes for Bradley Cooper's character the sniveling bastard who will stop at nothing to advance his career and status. Both Luke Glanton and Avery Cross were willing to sacrifice everything to get where they wanted in life and the only thing that separates them is their approach in how they do it. It's awesome because as Luke's mission to get his family back dies simultaneously while Avery's is born!
Spot on my friend
There is no role this man can't do, and I truly believe that. Hands down my favorite artistic actor, and The Place Beyond The Pines is (as I've heard put so eloquently and accurately as possible) "Criminally underrated". A Shakespearean masterpiece. My only personal fault I have in the film is that we only get to see Luke for just under half the runtime, and yet, its still perfectly executed and completely necessary for the message. He is the catalyst that connects my love for cinema.
Amazing actor. Amazing film
Great interview!
He is absolutely gorgeous in this movie and so sad.
-For this movie you have to act like a depressed borderline lumpen.
-I'll get a face tattoo then.
What a great film. It’s like four stories in one movie. Ray Liotta didn’t like this film but I thought he rocked in it. RIP Ray Liotta.
Literally me
I’m biased due to having face tattoos but I really think Luke needed that little one because of how Ryan wanted to represent the character so the choice to leave it in was perfect, especially alongside the constant WANT to do better for his child and hopeful partner, it was always just lingering there as a side detail along with his dodgy, unkempt past. I am also at my lowest low. Bro is literally me.
I would love a prequel to that movie showing how he came to be like that. I think the tattoo was very significant to the movie. It's one of my faves. I've watched so many times, but only recently realised that it was his son that went The Place Beyond The Pines.
When you like the movie bc of the tattoos, the image and the motorcycles and then you hear his opinion of it ),: sad day for sure lol
they talk about how bad it looked. but the character was the definition of cool
Fr😂 best charachter he’s played so far aesthetically
where can I find his jacket haha?
Will.Fizzy they sell them online, look up Luke Glanton red jacket. It's not an exact replica but it's damn close
kinda late respons but I think it might be a carthart Detroit jacket without the logo
how come Rockstar never hired this guy??
He's got real tats hasn't he ?
a couple small ones i believe
"..any worse than that.." well I bet A LOT OF PEOPLE around the world has it WAY worse..
I have 8 face tattoos. Only thing I regret is not getting them bigger.
