First time I saw you was in jungle party at tremplin in France, 'music made addict' made everyone crazy on the dance floor ! Such a great track , a real classic !
From music made addict to Lake of Fire. You guys are the absolutely legends of the past and of the future. No matter what, you innovate and find a way to change the scene and release songs that define what hardstyle is. Your Ghost Stories Alias is by far one the best things to come to the scene. You bring the mystic vibe and energy but the heavy hitting kicks that you are known for. By far one of my favorite producers. Mot many can claim to have 10+ years of success and still be pumping bangers that define the scene. Kudos to you and hope it continues.
I can't believe you forgot to mentiom the thrillogy edit you did a few years back 🤣. That was (in my opinion) and still is the best version out of 'remixes' (i know it is an edit not a remix but still)
I love the fact that everyone is speaking dutch and we have subtitles keep doing that q-dance please.

we won't have to listen to dutch accents this way, it's very nice.
It really is better they can develop their thoughts without language bareer.
That's how we do things in NL. We watch everything with subtitles.

@@ReflexEight It was one of my first tunes too along with some of the early Headhunterz stuff. There are a lot of huge cllassics that deserve to be covered and I hope I see them in this format
Lockdown was a huge deal back in the days for a lot of us. if you asked me tell me 3 hardstyle tracks 10-12 years ago, lockdown would have been one of them. i never understood why people listen to "old" music when i was younger. and now i am 26 and enjoy tracks wich are 10+ years old xD. and i allready know i will talk about some tracks and artists with some kids in the future, and they will ask who the hell scope dj or the prophet is xD.

@@TimsFPVundROVfootage He basically disappeared a few years ago. He hasn't released anything since 2013 (if you don't count his collab with A-Lusion from 2014) and he barely has any gigs now. I really liked his style and I really miss it. I hope that he would start producing again...

I remember the first time i've heard this track was on Defqon 1 2009 dvd, i went nuts and this track was on repeat constantly. I think summer of 2010 my neighbours were waking me up with this track through the ceiling with massive bass. Then Qlimax 2017 and hearing this live was one of the greatest moments of this night. I hope im gonna hear it this year at Qlimax aswell.

@@FT9chango5 By ghost stories I am talking about theor alias. So like Open your Mind, Lake of Fire, Fallen Souls... not the song. (Whichbi will agree, that was a meh song) but the songs from the alias are out of thos world. The melody and feeling within them are god tier. It's in line with MYST and Phuture Noize.
Shadowflare well personally I didn’t like any of those songs. Maybe because I like the sound of old hardstyle. Too much Melody not enough hard, it’s hardstyle after all needs to sound hard.
@@FT9chango5 Like the mid intro isnt hard? The scene has changed. That is something that must be aknowlaged. hardstyle has always been about the melody and the way the kicks are surrounding it. have you tried looking into Raw hardstyle? So artist like Rebelion, D-sturb, ect. Do you even like Myst? What of Phuture noize? If not, then i would say your not on the euphoric side, but more for the raw/hardcore side, maybe not past 150 bpm, but the songs I had mentioned above are good. It isnt like Headhunterz newest tracks. (Orange heart and Home are hot garbage) Hardstyle fundementaly has always been about change, innovation and moving forward. I have not found a style of music as diverse as the harder styles. Each artist has their own sound, and there iosnt a cookie cutter way of making it.

So simple. Such melody and emotion. Easily one of my favourite tracks ever. I cried at Defqon 1 2017 when Music Made Addict played in the legends set 💕
I'm not surprised this track has strong therapeutic properties. I've felt it from the beginning. I've recently discovered that every melody is like a sequence of words and concepts. When composed right - it can do miracles to a human soul and mind. Details like i.e. harmonious relation between melody and background sounds and between 2 different melodies in a track also count. Congratulations on this track, DBSTF. Thank you for the music.Cheers. :)

Technoboy - Rage was, together with Music Made Addict, the two tracks that drew me into hardstyle in the first place! Not surprised that this is the first episode. The track has a magical property in that even non-hardstyle people like it immediately.
I still can't understand what Sound Rush does in the middle of legends of hardstyle, the valuation of this duo is above the level they have, let's be realistic, marketing makes you listen to artists and they force you to have them 24 hours a day in everywhere.

First hardstyle album I ever bought haha. Dope idea for a series btw!
The first time I heard this track I was paralyzed with pleasure, I realized, as in 'Tonight' and 'Jaydee', that Hardstyle really was the best thing that happened in my life. Since then, DBSTF has become one of the hardstyle gods I pray to! 🙏 (And never disappointed me!) 💪
DBSTF are the kings of the scene! Anyway, I hope in future episodes you let some Italians talk as well. The Saifam group was huge back then! I mean just listen to "Her Voice".

Dit was/is idd een banger van jewelste, maar er stond een nog populairdere plaat op dat album. Ook de jongere generatie vandaag de dag, weet hoe laat het is, als ze op een festival : "Voices in your Dream" horen. Geen remix niks na 11 jaar. Deze geeft mij nog steeds rillingen :D
Is zeker waar! Vind t alleen jammer dat ze tegenwoordig de tweede drop skippen. Die is veel melodieuzer dan de eerste.
