    We managed to only do one Pemex (gas station) night on our entire trip. It just so happened on my Birthday. We went to an epic bat cave at Sunset to see 1000's of bats leave for the night and got told by the police that we could not camp there due to safety, so Pemex it was. I liked how you presented it as an overlanding tip ;)

    The fuel difference between locked and unlockable hubs should be fairly minimal

    • @OverlandWay
      @OverlandWay  6 років тому +1

      Bayl's it is rather mininal, you are totally right. But it also avoids unecessairy wear to front shaft parts and as we are gonna drive a 20+ year old van around the entire world every bit counts ;) trying to source a CV joint for a Delica along our way could be a pain!

    • @bayls8422
      @bayls8422 6 років тому +1

      You're 100% right on the wear and part sourcing fronts of course - good luck and well done to both of you for going on such a wonderful adventure! Wishing you much success and many more subscribers.

      Oi amigos, o vídeo é anterior ao Brasil. Nós estamos um pouco atrasados nas postagens devido a termos dado atenção geral a família nos últimos 70 dias! Daqui a pouco a gente tira o atraso! Grande abraço!

    How much fuel consumption difference is there with auto/manual hubs?

    • @OverlandWay
      @OverlandWay  6 років тому

    Hi. Very nice and funny video. You have really pretty hot there. Here in Czech republic we have winter with lots of snow and temperatures of about 4 to -8 °C. It's pretty cold here. Sometimes it can be difficult to find right spare parts for your car in a foreign country. Also, how is your friend doing? I hope he's doing better. And when was actually that hurricane? Thank you in advance for your reply. Good luck and have a nice day. :-)

      Hi my friend! Rafael is doing much better now! On his way to a complete recovery we hope! We had tough days in Brazil but in the end we feel much better now. Thanks for caring and asking! The hurricane was back in August, when those videos were filmed... we are a bit behind on posting as we were giving full attention to our family back in Brazil. Will we see you in Czech when we finally make it that way?! Cheers!

    • @jonasozana9649
      @jonasozana9649 7 років тому +1

      Hi. I like to hear that Rafael is doing much better. Yea, it's not always a walk through the pink garden, how we say. You are really little behind, but it doesn't matter. Also, how do you celebrate Christmas in Brazil? And when do you plan arrive to Europe and Czechia? I'm 16 and I'm currently in my first year at high school. But I might have some time on summer holidays (from 1 July to 31 August). Will see. Except Czech republic you should also visit Slovakia. We used to be one state ( Czechoslovakia) until 1993. Also our languages are very similar (pretty much like Spanish and Portuguese, maybe even more). Don't forget to them. Good luck and have a nice day. :-)
