Bonjour everyone,
I am so grateful to be able to share this video with you! I am on a girls trip with friends at this gorgeous château and did not plan on filming at all. Until I saw how beautiful everything was and met the Dutch owners and they shared their story and plans... I just had to ask them if I could share it with you.

Just gobsmacked as the British say. This makes me want to move to France even more. Stunning chateau especially the decor, really up my alley. Muriel has a great eye for decorating as do you. Every corner on the outside was like a postcard, and every corner inside was magazine worthy.This will have to be the first place I stay in when I one day visit France.😀

How very fortunate they were to have been able to buy this incredible piece of history - and to so lovingly restore it and make it their own (home, guest house and wedding venue). You will absolutely have to visit again, when everything is done!

Their chateau is exquisite. The scale, original features and the quality of their restoration work are top notch. I especially love the stew stove in the old kitchen. Thank you for showing us this rare treasure!
Thank you for sharing this -- it's delightful! My husband and I stayed at a gorgeous converted farm in Italy this July, and I have to say that all was idyllic until a wedding party arrived. The disruption of quiet daily life was profound for ourselves and other non-wedding party guests. So my suggestion would be to book either one or the other but not both at the same time.
I don’t think they plan to have multiple parties stay but have the place exclusively for wedding guests.

I loved the kitchen island and the kitchen floor tiles. The history was so interesting. I can see why they wanted to stay the way they were. I like that they had minds of their own and took action.

If I had the opportunity to be in France and shop second hand for lovely country vintage things that are there, I would have filled this house with more interior details! To my taste it looks very empty and bare - I know there are those who prefer it! But not my style! I had filled it with more interior details paintings, flowers, fabrics, cushions, lamps, antiques, yes more interior decoration simply magnificent curtains and urns, more furniture and beautiful rugs! France is a dream for us who love vintage and shabby chic!

So much of this ancient building still exists after so much time..painstakingly restored with the modern features in the kitchen..the palette throughout this home is so subtle reflecting what was already beautiful to being even more so ..the garden was really well established and growing perfectly..that would have been situated at the rear..pure delight..many thanks for sharing this with us..living in Melbourne Australia..❤

Beautifully done! OMG...that cabinet/snack bar in the kitchen is indescribably beautiful. We here in the usa remember watching Dick/Angel Strawbridge"s show 'Escape to the Chateau' on PBS...fascinated by each episode and triumph of their journey. Marco and Muriel have created the same feelings for us...watching them painstakingly renovate a piece of French history. Can't wait to see additional improvements in the future. Well done!
