Bonus item: Bikes You can get them in people front lawns for free if they don’t use it anymore and you can make some money if you clean them up a bit or repair them even They also sell extremely quick if you list them for under $100
Hahah love how your number 5 is Funko.. where everything started for me as a collector, I created a thrift challenge for over 20 YT channels recently which was heaps of fun and it actually sparked my love for thrift shopping again :) Awesome video.
nice man love the hustle, but you forgot the HOTTEST selling item....... iPhones I've been making thousands flipping phones - I'd love to see you try it out on the channel!
I played myself on a vintage financial calculator a few weeks ago. Was an old Sharp EL-735, vintage ones go for $80+ on eBay, picked it up for $10 on marketplace in the original box with user manual. Thought I scored big but then I checked the back: "Made in China". The actual vintage ones are made in Japan but they look identical otherwise. Still sold for $40 plus post so didn't make out too bad fortunately.
Oh man! You hardly played yourself with a result like that! Well done for knowing what to truely look for too! I feel a lot of people may have posted that up as Japan without even knowing! Great sale!
oh man, if you know which ones to get they're on marketplace all the time and you can cherry pick your profits with abit of research prior. I got right into it for a while :)
Definitely research the pops. I’m in the us and have had a couple I’ve been trying to sell for just $5 for months and there’s been very little interest on the ones I have. I liked your other suggestions. I second ink cartridges and calculators can be good items.
Thanks so much for watching! It's such a good point, you really have to know what pops your buying. I spend hours sifting through people ads with bulk pops listed to pick out the $30+ ones. I've made about $1,000 profit on them so far, it's a really good money maker. Pop Price Guide is the best site to judge what you're buying for resale value. Scientific calculators and ink cartridges are always a win! Good Luck with your selling :)
Hey brah, I just jumped on the reselling hassle and I love it. I'm just curious about the bedside tables, you said you can by them for $30 and sell them for over $100 sometimes, is that being bought onFBM and resold on ebay? at the moment I find cheap stuff but also people selling cheap as well, just figuring out how to make a profit!!
TV Show season bundles would be my best to focus on - multiple disk DVD's and horror the other 2. + anything you havent heard of wierdly does well for me. Always comp check
With regard to the notifications, do I need to install a 3rd party app to do this? I have notifications on marketplace, but can't add anything to be notified by. I have tried looking up where I can enter items I want to be notified of, but haven't found anything.
Hey man hope you see this.., I have a few questions. So you buy on marketplace and sell on ebay... If so. If you were to buy furniture and sell it on ebay wouldn't the postage be hella expensive?
@@TheAussieFlipper Thanks mate. I have been looking at Pops! There is just so many of them, there has to be a trick to know the good ones. I have a list of the valuable SW and GOT ones but that is it.
Price isn't always what people are looking for. Sometimes a quality product (brand) will mean someone is happy to pay a higher price. Buy good brands, buy quality (no damage) and list for what the item is worth. You'll be surprised at who buys what
I had same question, if I'm buying it off market place for $10 and relisting for $50 won't people see that and buy the cheaper option! Have you ever shipped them?
G’Day Matt, I also have the same question, how do you get the Marketplace notify me button to come up? I’ve seen it come come up on my mates mobile phone, I’ve been trying without any luck.
Just check car booster seats for their expiry date. It will vary depending on brand but they shouldn’t be used after that date. Should be on the seat somewhere. The time spent in the sun in a hot car affects the integrity of the seat. Used to be 8 years then throw. Not sure if that’s changed.
Thanks for the video mate. I am curious. When you sell on eBay, say a pop vinyl for example. Do you look at sold listings and put it up for what it sold for or do you base it off what other people are currently selling it for. Also do you do auctions or always buy it now?
@@TheAussieFlipper ahh I see. Do you have a maximum distance you travel. To pick something up living in a small ish town so sometimes I have to travel to pick things up for the resell.
Personally, I've never had it happen. There was one occasion where someone messaged me who knew I'd bought it to resell and she said "hey you bought that the other day!" but I just ignored the message. There is nothing stopping you from buying an item and re-listing it for a higher price. You can do a couple of things to lessen the chances of someone finding your ad who was originally selling. I might make a video on it :). Thanks so much for watching!
@@TheAussieFlipper Hi I have the same question. Yes I think we mean alerts. IE: say you want to be alerted everytime someone lists FunkoPop how would you set that up, I've hunted and hunted and can't figure it out. that would be a good idea for a video "navagation" of Marketplace. I'm in Canada though and not sure if it changes in different areas.

Great idea Ebony! I'll definately add that to the video ideas list! Appreciate all your support of the channel!
selling stuff on marketplace made my do between 2k to 5k per week, and i do this part time cause i got to work 40hrs per week🤣
keep doing what youre doing! You've got a system that works!!

What are your top 5 items that you sell

I buy & resell furniture on FB Marketplace only :)

I hear ya!
Great video
Thanks so much!
How long do the pops usually take to sell? Is ebay or marketplace better for selling? Thanks mate
Depends which ones you have. The more expense generally sell quicker because there’s more demand. I like to sell them on eBay over marketplace

With the booster seats do you re sell them on Market place? Wouldn’t other people just buy the cheaper $10 ones or do you sell them on eBay

They do - but ppl still by regardless of expiry. Always advertise how old the item is but I've never had any issues. Thanks for watching :)

Just keep a running spread sheet of purchases and expenses

Back onto Facebook marketplace 😀

So you’re saying you buy these items on marketplace or pick them up for free then go back and list them on the same platform?
Correct!!!
I've made $200 this week selling stuff from my house.
amazing stuff!! Well done!
People give away the car booster seats for free coz in some states it illegal to sell them second hand
Hey mate with the bedside tables is that $150 for the pair?
Yep. I buy for $50 sell for $150 (pair) try not to buy singles. They don’t sell as well
Thanks
