There's a Princess who's sure All that glitters is gold And she's buying a Star-Rod to heaven When she gets there she knows If the Toad stores are closed With a word she can get what she came for Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh And she's buying a Star-Rod to heaven There's a pipe in the wall But she wants to be sure 'Cause you know, sometimes pipes take you strange places On a block in the air There's a Goomba who sings Sometimes all of our jumps are misleading... That's all I have for now...
In college I first went as a music major. It was utterly wonderful to learn that finale wasn't my first music editor. That's right Mario Paint beat that to the punch by like 14 years! When I found out the files I was saving my homework in was the same files used in old video games (midi) it was a game changer! There was a 2 headed eagle approach with the interest, I had a lot of fun bringing out music from midis and scoring it, and turning music into "Nintendo" versions of it.
I mean, you can literally find every single note used in this song for every instrument online. it's hard to call this a cover when it's essentially just a plug and play type of thing. I appreciate the time it took to make the song in mario font, but we don't gotta act like he's a musical genius lol
Star World To Heaven
There's a Princess who's sure
All that glitters is gold
And she's buying a Star-Rod to heaven
When she gets there she knows
If the Toad stores are closed
With a word she can get what she came for
Ooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
And she's buying a Star-Rod to heaven
There's a pipe in the wall
But she wants to be sure
'Cause you know, sometimes pipes take you strange places
On a block in the air
There's a Goomba who sings
Sometimes all of our jumps are misleading...
That's all I have for now...
I’m glad so many ppl make stairway vg ost covers bc stairway sounds way better in a classic vg soundfont than the actual song imo.
You're not allowed to play this in a Gamestop! Good job btw
Easily one of the best of these ive heard for real.
Stairway to Rainbow Road

Perfect replace for the game over screen music
You really delivered! I obviously prefer the original with Robert Plant’s golden vocals, but that solo… wow!
Your attention to detail is what sets your covers apart from the rest. Bravo, sir!
