I'm heavily biased towards PC so I definitely agree that Sony exclusives coming to PC (even after a several-year delay) is a huge win for everyone. Come on Nintendo, do the right thing :)
Sony releases on PC is long overdue, but also makes financial sense for them. The reality is that PC gaming in the past was super prone to piracy and publishers had less incentive to release games, but the popularization of game stores made the whole market more accessible and profitable for publishers

I never played any of these games but I certainly am happy for the ones who have plus I am interested in them myself. I asked for a ps3 for my birthday once, simply because I wanted to play heavy rain and beyond two souls so I was super happy seeing them come to pc. Then the ffx came to ps3 making it better and a whole lot better when it came to pc and I like fangirled over it so much that I got it gifted to me I never thought I would try red dead but I know its one of the most well loved games out there and now with the original I will definitely give it a chance
@@calista061 Forgot to mention about those titles. I am yet to play them too. I think that was the point where some titles would come from PS and people were so happy. The day one releases are such welcomed thing. Red Dead Redemption is a much smaller in scope game than the sequel/prequel is. So, you shouldn't feel too overwhelmed by the open world of it. Very good game to be fair. I played it over emulation and beaten both the story and the DLC. I thought they would never consider a port for it so I gave it a shot that way. Now I'm feeling compelled to replay it again on Steam.
Nintendo games coming on PC would have crazy sales but it is something very unlikely to happen. For now I'm happy that all the awesome Sony games come on PC one after the other and I'm also excited that Red Dead Redemption 1 finally gets released.
Good times! Nintendo is aware they would sell like crazy on other platforms. I think if they would just start pushing older titles that don't intend to remake would kill the will for people to emulate those titles.
I personally don't care that much about Nintendo games, but the steady stream of Playstation ports has indeed been a huge win for PC gamers! I'm hoping we'll eventually see Demon's Souls and Bloodborne on Steam. It's about time :)
For me, from what you mentioned, I think Sony games are the biggest "win" (even if the mandatory PSN account is not so appealing), and what you like most, the cheevos, I dislike the most XD (they just limit the amount of games I personally play because of my completion OCD), I'd personally like to have the option to buy 2 different versions of the game, one with and one without cheevos.
@@Addriano I've got OCD in that department too. I like all my games to have achievements. I am not bothered about the ones not stated. But the ones that I have incomplete. That's where the problem starts.
I want Nintendo to do the same. At least start with old games that aren't supported on the Switch. But yeah, big win. Sad to see so many isolated because of PSN thing. I really wish all had access to the newer titles.

🙌🏻 We got the money, just give it to us!

@@capnPalhares You're right! Although it still exists today, it's probably at a much smaller percentage than when I grew up.

We will, sooner or later we will. It doesn't seem to be early 2000s where every console was fighting to keep their games exclusive.
Was about time
We're not stopping yet it seems. 🫡
sony games are blocked in over 170 countries man, that sucks
It does. I hope to see that mediated one day.
I don't like saying something will never happen, but I am 99% certain Nintendo will NEVER publish their games on PC.
@@NomadXxXx I believe that too about Sony. But we are in a different place today. Give it a few more years. Maybe it might change.

@@tale_play Exacly, that's why achievements should come as a free DLC that activates them only if enabled XD.
@@Addriano No joke, that's an amazing idea!
wait a decade for Nintendo games to come out on Steam... I want Mario (without emulators)
It it means we have to wait this long, why not. I'd wait if I know one day I'll get to play some Nintendo games.
