Your hard work is appreciated sir 🗣️🤝🤖😼i can see u have been very busy to be able complete this tier list! We have the same favorite original! I also wanted to know how good the newer games were! Looks like i will give rift apart a try
Recently got a pc and emulators to boot, been playing through the games for the first time in over a decade and god are they all so good. I never knew there was mobile games though
There are a few things that bother me Why does Clank stop with the time bombs they were super useful in A crack in time and he uses them in all 4 one but afterwards they disappear why? It is a shame that in games like Nexus and Quest for Booty Talwyn doesn’t have any sections of her own I think it would’ve been good if Nexus did have her playable since it’s more personal for her Maybe she could’ve been an option in all 4 for one perhaps her personal weapon could’ve been she had Cronk and Zephyr’s weapon duel wielding
yeah she was supposed to be in A4O but Sony wanted neffy. Also yeah for real what did happen to the time bombs? Maybe since he made Sigmund the senior care taker he looses that ability, just a theory though
At first with Nefarious coming back in all 4 one I was confused why he was brought back after he was killed in A crack in time but replaying it and Rift Apart I realised how funny he is and how much i liked his character. With the time bombs maybe Clank needs materials from the Clock but him constantly going back and forth might draw attention to it like if a future villain followed them. I just had this crazy thought in all 4 one Dr Croid is shown to be crazy after claiming to be a Lombax whisperer despite Rachet speaking English Dr Croid thought he wanted treats and a poop bag however what if Dr Croid was such an expert he didn’t need to listen being able to know that Rachet was secretly hungry and secretly needed the bathroom at the end of the game Rachet does take the treats so maybe he really did like them what if he’s such a next level animal expert he could sense it if the next game is about Rachet, Clank, Rivet and Kit going to find the Lombaxes maybe the team will need the whisperer to return
I didn't know Deadlocked had a Jak skin, but to be honest, the Jak 1 was not the call, they should have used the Jak 2 skin since Jak 2 was the one that gave Jak guns. :p
While I didn't care for glitch nor minded her existence, I find it CRAZY that you strongly dislike the Agents of Doom. Sure, their base is very simplistic but I enjoy just standing there & watching em bite the living shit out of enemies, seeing their reactions until they die/blow up 😂 plus when they level up they do a LOT more. Those buggers man, made for some entertaining gameplay 😂. Plus I like having them follow me around like the little diabolical pets that they are. To each their own, I guess. 🤷🏿♂️
I came here just to watch Size Matters getting placed dead last (ignoring mobile phone games), and boy was I not disappointed. Speaking of, not too long ago I had a discussion with a Size Matters fanatic, the guy claimed that: -Framerate is good -Camera is good -Weapons are super good -Overall the game is balanced and easy (if I dared to disagree, he would hit me with the most basic "skill issue" over and over). It's amazing how a person's love for a game (or anything else, for that matter) makes them completely blind to that game's issues
It is absolutely criminal that you put Tools of Destruction that low, like this is a game that I've at different points considered my favourite of the series, it at least deserves an A rank.
The protopet boss excludes Going Commando from anything above a 7/10 for me. I was expecting Drek 2.0 and instead I got a boss that dies before the heavy bouncer runs out of ammo. Turret boss was almost as bad but I can forgive it as it is not the final boss.
@@needsanameedit4982 the protopet is a very tanky fight if you use any weapon in the game .... Except the bouncer. As soon as I saw how much damage it did I put it away because it made the game too easy.
I was about to say "hold up, there's only 14 games, not 16" until you mentioned the 2 mobile games. I never even acknowledge those two games 😅 And I would've personally put Tools of Destruction in A tier or maybe even S tier, but.. I guess I'm sorta satisfied with B
@@RotcodFox tools is a very good game but there is definitely a lot of issues it has with armor balancing, weapons damage, bolt economy and some other stuff too.
@buninja5604 My two least favorite R&C games are Secret Agent Clank and the 2016 PS4 game, because the stories and writing sucks in both of them. I also don't like Before The Nexus because it's a very boring and lazy mobile game
Rift Apart's kinda overrated. I get we haven't had good food in over a decade but the game just feels like a shell of what Ratchet once was. It's like they took both good and bad aspects of the reboot (you can thank the reboot for Glitch lol) and replaced Ratchet with a girl that acts more like him than he does nowadays for about 60% of the game. Rivet's still cute, but I just don't think she's as good of a character as Angela or Allister. You can also thank Rivet's design for all the R34 too lol
I would swap Deadlock and Crack In Time. But overall I agree with this list. Oh yeah and move UYA to bottom S because you can't play it online anymore );

@@dansnofrills4824 yeahhh I love nefarious but him being in here was pretty meh. Emperor nefarious was a nice addition but it could have been way cooler for the story to be someone entirely new
What i don´t like so much about Rift Apart and actually kill it a little for me it´s the fact that there are just a few good and fun weapons to play with, most of them are just the same type weapon but worse, we have 2 rocket launchers and 3 shotguns that basically do the same with really small differences in gameplay, topiary sprinkler its just a worse version of the cold snap, Lightning rod is just a so much better Buzz blades, burst pistol or the blackhole storm; Mr fungi is a better Glove of Doom, etc... And the Bombadier is just the WORST weapon in the entire franchise, it literally do nothing, it miss even if the enemies are frozen, doesn´t do any damage (if somehow hits) and is introduced sooo late in the game that it just made it totally useless. I really enjoy the game but for me, R&C its about planet exploration and original and fun weapons, and most of the time it felt like playing a copypaste or a cheap version of other weapons and end using just like 3 or 4 the entire game.
@@daniezquer fair point. I personally love all of the weapons In this game except a few like the Black hole storm and yes the bombardier. I thought they were pretty diverse but to each their own. Also I'm trying to think what is the third shotgun? I can only think of pixelizer and enforcer?
@@buninja5604 Well i was talking about the void repulser, i loved the idea, not so much the execution, I know its supose to be a portable shield with a secondary function, but ends feeling like a shotgun in most situations, maybe for the big improvement in the agility of the game (wich was by FAR the best desing decision, for me at least it was reaaally fun just moving around). Not a bad weapon concept though, just personally think it lacks something. Same with the bombardier, really good concept, in that case really poor execution.
unpopular opinion: rac up your arsenal is overrated. There are no races or grind sections and all planets only have one route (except daxx). The weapons are not brilliant, the weapons from rac going commando that are accessible an aquatos are broken and enough to beat the game. I still love the game (the plot is amazing and nefarious the goat) but I think a lot of things are missing.
@@fabiocarvalhodossantos857I see where you're coming from, but imo it comes down to personal preference... For example, I don't like Going Commando as much as UYA because the Ratchet gameplay is too fragmented (4 space battles, 2 clank sections, 2 (1 optional) giant clank and 2 (1 optional) races)
@@babbabiamesser you're absolutely right, it is about personal preference. For instance, I like the first game the most because all weapons are "equally strong". The bomb glove is still useful in the endgame. I feel like the other games force you to buy the most expensive weapons as the others are basically useless.
13:45 Every time someone complains about the weapons, they always show footage of themselves using a Lvl 1 weapon against end-game enemies. I use the Dual Lacerators and Acid Bomb Glove for the entire game! Only swapping it out for the Laser Tracer at the very end. Why are people struggling?
@buninja5604 It is a lot more difficult than previous instalments, but I like that! I'm finally playing Rift Apart, and I am enjoying that due to its difficulty.
I will say that Otto has entirely TOO much health, but I recently played through on PS5 and the boss fight is dramatically easier the more you stack damage. If you throw down two sets of Agents of Dread, a Bee Mine, and then use the Lacerators or Laser Tracer you can melt his health bar pretty quickly. Plus if you bought the shield charger you should be able to negate at least SOME damage. I agree it's bad, but properly prepared it's not as bad as people say. Although, I would go out of my way to farm XP and level up my weapons so that might be why I had an easier time.
@@dandytetsuiga338 It's always been that way. This is a direct port of the PSP version of the game! The PS2 version is harder, but not by much. I've literally shredded him in seconds with the Laser Tracer V2.
I think it's just a misinterpretation of tier lists. I would put them on the lowest tier possible, even though they're not awful games my any means... but they are awful compared to the average Ratchet and Clank experience, so I am kinda forced to put them in the worst tier (unless I want to completely fill S-C tiers and leave D-F empty)
Agent clank gets so much hate for no reason it's extremely underrated honest one of my favorite R&C games behind going commando and the original ratchet and clank

@@buninja5604 Yeah the game is good and many weapon are very unique, but I am hoping right now that someone could make a mod for this game that adds strafe.
This is my opinion about games that I have played in my life. R&C 1: I will put it also on S tyre. Not better than 2 and 3, but deffinetly a great game that gives you a lot of memories. And the story is very long which I prefer massivly. Only downside is a slower camera and pace of Ratchet. R&C 2: I agree with everything that you said. Combination of 1 and 3 afterwerds. Only downside is a lower balanced mechanics for motorbike race and as you mentioned, fight with a big robot. R&C 3: For me also the GOAT of all franchise. It has everything and the mechanics are great. The only small downside from me is fight with Nefarious while controling the ship. But because its only on the end, it can't be threaten as a downside that much. R Deadlocked: I think the story of this is very underrated. You know you have only Ratchet to control and story is actually very good. Even the boss fight is for me better than 2 or 3, because its more moveable. The downside of that game is that the movement of Ratchet is very strange, like his movement is showen as a training on the treadmill. But apart from that, very very good. R&C Size Matters: Tbh, I know that High Impact Games had a tough job to make something that Insomniac didn't want to create, but the game itself is a little better than on your rankings. To be precise, better number rating and maybe even word rating. The controls are average and way worse than originals, but still playable. The story is okay, but I think the game miss some additional points that can make story a littler longer. Fun fact: First time I played that game was in 2008/2009 and 16 years later, I saw cutscene after Challax about the Qwark for the first time. PS2 removed that cutscene and you got straight for the Dainy Moon. The best thing in that game is a combination of armor. If you are passing that game for the first, second and third time, absolute the best among others for wearing those combinations and making challenges. Oh and challenge with Gadgebots puzzles and throwing them to the goal is very good aswell. So yeah, at the end of the day, a higher number grade and even word grade. Secret Agent Clank: Tbh, this game has a okay story and actually funny challenges, but problem for me is that I tought I would see a little better graphics after Size Matters and it didn't delievered. So yeah, maybe a higher number grade, but not the word grade. R&C A Crack in time: While commenting this, I am still passing this game and it's very good, lower great hahah. For me, there are two downsides. Firstly, the blur in graphics is too high and secondly, challenges with Clank about the puzzling becomes very harder after each. Yes, they are skippable, but for someone who wants to pass a 100% game, very hard. R&C 2016: Actually a very good game for nostalgic people like me. And yes, I tottaly agree with you that some planets were dropped off while they were GOATS on the R&C 1. The very big downside is: Nefarious and everything about him. Why are you mixing Drek and Nefarious story on a game that is looking pretty much like R&C 1? I mean, I get the point, you don't have that much money to remake R&C 3, but no, please no. Drek or Nefarious, you decide. So yeah, but apart from that, very good game.
@@buninja5604 the whole game is just bad played it for the first time this year and it is just terrible game basicaly everything is just bad I liked nothing about it well I liked the idea of crystal desert and Snow area mby the glider but other than that Its the worst game insomniac ever made peak garbage Id like to see rac 2 remake because theres something unique about the rac 2 idea but its definitely not the game that released bcs its such a trash joke

Your hard work is appreciated sir 🗣️🤝🤖😼i can see u have been very busy to be able complete this tier list! We have the same favorite original! I also wanted to know how good the newer games were! Looks like i will give rift apart a try
I agree completely with this list. Cant say anything about Size Matters since that is the only game in this series i have never played.
Recently got a pc and emulators to boot, been playing through the games for the first time in over a decade and god are they all so good. I never knew there was mobile games though
There are a few things that bother me
Why does Clank stop with the time bombs they were super useful in A crack in time and he uses them in all 4 one but afterwards they disappear why?
It is a shame that in games like Nexus and Quest for Booty Talwyn doesn’t have any sections of her own I think it would’ve been good if Nexus did have her playable since it’s more personal for her
Maybe she could’ve been an option in all 4 for one perhaps her personal weapon could’ve been she had Cronk and Zephyr’s weapon duel wielding
yeah she was supposed to be in A4O but Sony wanted neffy.

-Framerate is good
-Camera is good
-Weapons are super good
-Overall the game is balanced and easy (if I dared to disagree, he would hit me with the most basic "skill issue" over and over).

You can also thank Rivet's design for all the R34 too lol

i would give rift apart B or even C tier - so many aspects of the game irked me and was overall a let down. i could seriously write an essay about where they went wrong (and right) but as a whole it was lacking on so many levels.
also im tired of dr. nefarious, i think it’s time to retire him for a bit, but i don’t see that happening unfortunately
@daniezquer ohhhh yeah. That weapon is only good for shielding the shotgun part of it is very underwhelming I do agree there
unpopular opinion: rac up your arsenal is overrated.
The "missing" things is why I love the game so much. Its so simple, no strings attached.
@@buninja5604 that's absolutely fair and I respect that
@@fabiocarvalhodossantos857I see where you're coming from, but imo it comes down to personal preference...
POV: my tierlist except for me size matters is c. My reason supporting this is i haven't played much of if but the part I did play was ok.
@@cooliobros4016 fair enough though the ending definitely gets harder and tedious
@@Zodiac3107 it's a huge difficulty curve compared to normal ratchet games imo
