Two big glitches right at the end of this video that cuts a whole lot out before Dalton's last guess and after Lucas's final guess EDIT: Got the guy's name wrong.
Props to the editting team, I liked the inclusion of the little clip of every no hitter they mentioned. It’s a nice touch that I’m sure took a few extra hours of editting
@@robbieberks6304 he threw a no hitter at Turner Field vs the Braves, April 17,2010. First Rockies pitcher to throw a no-no but not at Coors. Unless you can find the game he threw one at Coors?
Jake Arrieta, Alec Mills, Carlos Zambrano, Milt Pappas for all my Cubs fans. Bob Feller, Kenny Rodgers, Dennis Martinez, Juan Marichal, Bob Gibson, Fernando Valenzuela, Jordan Zimmermann. So many good names left on the table.
I’d love to take part in one of these. I would’ve been rattling off Dennis Martinez, Jose Rijo, Jonathan Sanchez and Dave Stieb. Maybe it’s just because I’m twice as old as these guys lol
I was very surprised that no one said Henderson Alverez and his walk off no no and as a Giants fan, i immediately thought Cain, Timmy, and Jonathan Sanchez
Man for once one of these where I actually would have done well. Had a bunch of guys they said late (also Smoky Joe Wood! wtf), and still was kicking around a ton of others: - Tim Lincecum - Dave Stieb (something something Jon Bois) - Cy Young (they only said his name a dozen times; one was a perfect game) - Ken Johnson (only guy to throw a no-hitter and lose) - Bobo Holloman (pitched a no-hitter in his first start, was otherwise terrible, and only played one season) - Addie Joss (one was a perfect game) - Old Hoss Radbourn - Dennis Martínez (perfect game) - John Montgomery Ward (second perfect game; can never remember the first guy's name [Lee Richmond?]) - Pud Galvin (2) - Ed Walsh - Christy Mathewson (2) - Warren Spahn (2) - Jim Bunning (one was a perfect game) - Tom Browning (perfect game) - Jack Morris - Gaylord Perry
Always waiting for my Expos to get recognition. Bill Stoneman pitched his first on April 1969, within the franchise's first month and repeated on 1972 ish. Charlie Lea did it in the 80s and of course my man Dennis El Presidente Martinez perfect-pitched the Dodgers in July 1991.
Jomboy really needs a Dodger fan on staff. Jerry Reuss...Kevin Gross...Josh Becket....If you have A sombrero, throw it to the sky. And to be a little fair Dennis Martinez
Philip Humber needs a video. Unbelievable just how bad he was after that perfect game. I can't imagine a more unlikely guy to throw one. He was terrible after, and very obscure prior. He had a magical day tho.
Was he the one who got bailed out on the last pitch too? 3 and 2 to the last batter and he threw a pitch about 50 feet that bounced through the opposite batters box but the batter “swung.”
I was yelling Josh Beckett at my phone the last few guesses. Also had Tim Lincecum, Phil Niekro, Juan Marichal and Fernando Valenzuela in my head if one of them guessed Beckett.
The first thing that came to my mind would have been perfect for a snake-around. Fernando Valenzuela & Dave Stewart through no-hitters on the SAME DAY.
I had Lester, Fiers and Sean Manaea stored that they didn't get but sheesh I would have struggled in this for sure but I could have beat out Zo at least.
I was sitting on Fernando Valenzuela, Matt Garza, Josh Backett, Hideo Nomo, Carlos Zambrano, Jake Arietta, Alec Mills, Ubaldo Jimenez, Bob Gibson, and Michael Lorenzen.
Question... Did the full snake occur after Joez's SECOND correct guess? Or was it only after his 3rd? It's the "batting around" debate, but for full snake.
So many easy ones on the board. There were perfect games not mentioned, like Dennis Martinez and Tom Browning. Dock Ellis' no hitter while high on LSD.
Kerry Wood should’ve had a no-hitter in his 20 strikeout game. The only hit should’ve been called an error. I also had Jake Arrieta, Carlos Zambrano, Milt Pappas, and Ubaldo Jimenez in my head.
You needed to know when to hold em’ and when to fold em’ all while roasting outside side Kramer’s apartment and checking what condition your condition is in... to know Kenny Roger’s 1994 perfect game.
Max Scherzer and Clayton Kershaw have two of the most impressive no-hitters of all time, just a year apart. Scherzer had 17K and Kershaw had 15K...and both had ZERO walks or HBP. Both were one error away from the most dominant perfect games you'll ever see.
Jolly was wrong terry said to reporters pregame "i dont care if he throws a no hitter after this game hes going back to aaa" and once he did they didnt aend him down.

So many perfect games still on the board. No love for Charlie Robertson? Jim Bunning? Len Barker? Mike Witt? Tom Browning? Denny Martinez? Kenny Rogers? Or even Cy Young himself?
@@nickfb92 Yep. Also had a good chance at another one that ended up a combined no hitter. Went 7 with no hits but then there was a long rain delay so they had to pull him. Wohlers and Peña finished it off.

Lucas’s final guess, but yes!
I don't get how this happens so often for them lol. Does nobody watch the videos before they get uploaded?

Dave Stieb's hunt for, and eventual completion of, a no hitter was such a good story that Jon Bois made a 4 part documentary about it.
Dock Ellis' completion of a no hitter on LSD was such a good story that No Mas made a 4 minute video about it.
@@TheMarcusramseyyeah Dave had like 5 no hitters broken up in the last 3 innings.
This guy was said indirectly and no one else formally guessed him but Cy Young himself did it multiple times.
Has one of the perfect games too iirc
Props to the editting team, I liked the inclusion of the little clip of every no hitter they mentioned. It’s a nice touch that I’m sure took a few extra hours of editting
A shame the editors didn't watch the end of the video
Jolly with the "How the fuck did you know that" at Dalton was a highlight of the vid
Doc Ellis and AJ Burnett had some pretty “iconic” no hitters
I was waiting for Lucas to say Dock Ellis
guy like me hollering DAVE STIEB at my monitor
Crazy freeze frame on Lucas
As a white Sox fan, BBD dropping Humber and Buehrle in this warmed my heart I had both of them and Giolito in my mind when I started the vid
Jomboy even had a merch shirt for sale awhile back for Gio's no hitter, so I'm surprised it didn't come up
Joez needs a friggin' timer. lol
He even had a train to catch, and still did not respect the time.
he can’t do timed paap 😔✋🏼
Joez would be one of those guys who would crumble under a pitch clock
Thought they were keeping Hideo “no-no” Nomo in their back pocket. The only no hitter thrown at Coors Field
ubaldo jimenez threw one at coors

I had josh beckett, another dodgers. i think they are East Coasters that forget about Dodgers teams. Took a while to get to kershaws in my opinion
Gotta put the list of guesses on screen
I find it so funny that the Baseball media team can’t name no-hitters from the last 10 years but can name a ton from before they were even born 😂
😂😂
Jake Arrieta, Alec Mills, Carlos Zambrano, Milt Pappas for all my Cubs fans.
Bob Feller, Kenny Rodgers, Dennis Martinez, Juan Marichal, Bob Gibson, Fernando Valenzuela, Jordan Zimmermann.
So many good names left on the table.
Sam Jones for the Cubs as well.
and fucking cy young. How can you miss him.
Michael Lorenzon and Sean Manaea
Lucas named Feller near the end. Surprised neither of the 2020 no-hitters were named.
Was Dan Canobbio barred from the couch after his first-round miss on the last one?
🤣🤣
Jake Arrieta, Kenny Rogers and Carlos Zambrano, weirdly enough, kept in my head...
For real when he said " did any Cub do it." My guy, the club has been around more than a hundred years.
Carlos Zambrano. Threw his at a nurtural site.
Alec Mills
Milt Pappas

I still had 8 guys in mind at the end of this.
Virgil Trucks had 2 in a season, Dave Stieb finally got one too
Great final min of editing.
The blatant disrespect for big time Timmy Jim!!
After following the back to back David guesses, nobody caught the other Doc… seems like the most iconic no hitter of all time..
Man i had Spencer Turnbull in my head for so long
Same because as a Mariner fan it was humiliating
Dock Ellis, Teddy Higuera, Lincecum, Ubaldo Jimenez, and Jon Lester were a few in my head that I wanted to hear!
Teddy Higuera didn't throw a no hitter for the Brewers but Juan Nieves did.
y’all took way too long to guess kershaw holy shit 😂
Was waiting for Iwakuma, lorenzen, Jordan Zimmerman, and doc Ellis to come out
Paxton too!

I was at the Chris Heston no-hitter as well. If you see the crowd when they're celebrating, the guy in the yellow shirt is my grandfather
A contest of anything pre-90's that is non-Yankee will get them in trouble.
