Hinge cutting trees for deer is one of the fastest ways to create better habitat for deer on your hunting property. When done correctly, it will create security, bedding browse, and reduced sightlines. Much faster than girdling or hack and squirt.
That's a cool video. Bunch of white cedar blew over on edge of a wetter cattail swamp area unreal deer activity
Thank you for sharing Randy!
Awesome
Nice video . Enjoy seeing the results .
Nice video Randy. Neat to see them bedding on camera.
Not sure if you say my question on Jacks page. The local coyote pack has moved into my bedding areas that i just cut. I am making paths and escape routes and taking my time. Unlike 10 years ago and just dropped a bunch of trees. It's like I made an area for them. My camera is picking up daylight pictures of the coyotes.
Nice. Soon to be at our place.
And what does “done right” mean? I’m in the south so I’m wondering how diff that might be here? Love to hear your thoughts. Thx for sharing your video.
