MAKING AN AFRICAN MEAT SPICE (SUYA POWDER) FOR A LIVING IN GHANA | GHANA FOOD RECIPES
In this video, Basiru talks us through the process for making suya spice. Suya Spice is a very common spice used in a lot of African cooking. Especially when grilling meats.
It originated from the northern part of Ghana but is now well known within the greater Accra region.
If you have enjoyed this Ghana food recipe, do well to contact Basira for all orders.

Suya powder is made out of kulikuli. A groundnut based snacks which is blended into powder then the seasonings are added to it. Making kulikuli is a bit tedious from scratch so the best thing is they buy the kulikuli and mill it then add their spices to it . Hope this helps😊😇😇😇

Okay Jasmine hear me out. Interview people about herbal medicine. And have the herb available for purchase online. I think this generation is missing out on the knowledge and benefits of herbal medicine. I’m in the US and i can’t get this medicines to buy. It will be great if you could make it available to us. What do you think?

Jasmine. Thank you for doing the time consuming work of translating subtitles for us. Thank you so much sincerely. Also, I know you speak Twi, we westerners still can't quite tell the different languages, can you clarify for us which language you are/were translating? This lady said she is from the North were you speaking Twi? Respectfully, thank you.
