It took me my entire degree duration to finally realise what I really wanted to do with life. Sure, there are lots of things I'm capable of doing to earn well and live a comfortable life, but it doesn't light the fire within me. And, now, although I'm nowhere close to being good at it yet, I am passionate about the cause. I want to change the world, make lives better, make life worth living and loving. I have big dreams, and I've got to make big sacrifices for that! Bonus: I found the job that'll pay me well to do that, and it paves the way to let me make a bigger impact :D
Thank you this gave me some clarity and hope. Just yesterday I had a breakdown cause I can't bring myself to decide whether I should continue in my current field (cuture/ language studies) or change to psychology to become a therapist. I think what scares me is that I will have to deal with the consequences of the decision I make forever and I'm terirified to be stuck but I think now I realised I can almost always still change and adjust my path even when I'm older.
No matter which you choose, you’ll probably adapt it later. My actual major is Japanese. I’ve never used it “as a major” except to get my BA and get access to a Japanese visa. I have a minor in psychology. I use aspects of both every day tho. And you will have to deal with the consequences. And even the consequences of not making a clean decision.
im an infp going into electrical engineering and ive been debating on working on submarines too, they arent feeling based nor interpersonal but i feel like im helping the world and society by doing my part in building its backbone, im a tinkerer i love crafts hands on style jobs and problem solving and it makes me feel fulfilled , deep down i wanna be a musician but that doesnt pay enough to keep a roof over my head so ive decided eventually after i do that ill open a brewery/pub and play my music live on my own stage unconventional for infp but you can make other careers work especially in the temporary to get the money necessary for what you actually want
i just found out im INFP 3 months ago, lol. i took 2 times test and end up both result is INFP. I am 44 years old who has many degrees and never stop going to schools. and i divorced 2 times. Had some ex boyfriends who i always left behind. and i am so tired now to have a relationship. i have bachelor degree in Biology, major in animals behavior. Master in microbiology. i have pharmacy technician, i am a notary and loan officer also. at one point in my life, i was also a nurse, LVN for 3 years. Now, im going school now for medical billing and taking some music classes because i want to make music someday. i dont know why im like this but i just follow what my heart told me to. i am grateful i have an opportunity to go school and have fun all the time. i just came back from 3 months solo traveling to indonesia, my home country, Bali, and japan last year. Now im feel better im not the only one. i thought i have gone mad. i guess i just try to explore and curiosity. im happy i found your channel. oh because i like Kpop now i want to learn Korean language now lol
INFP + HSP, and identical twin. My twin sis and I are almost recovered from burnout from bad job experiences but are really struggling to get back into work without stressing… watching your videos for guidance. Both of us have communication degrees (mass and visual communication) and hope to find a niche for us that will allow us to fit in without being scared or overly stressed out
As an HSP INFP Scorpio l became a Travel photographer and never would imagine it would turn into a successful freelance Business, it became my passion and made me a better person.
@GeekPsychology I love that i can work on my own time and I can progress from my own creativity using different creative software. I temporarily meet with clients gaining just enough emotional connection while I can measure my own efforts to get the best ending results (working under stress)making good money, not that i dont give my best effort, but i can review it afterwards, im my Biggest critic. The Traveling aspect is like candy to me but i also do it to inspire others to show them that their is a bigger world out there for them to experience. Im an American living in Germany, my wife is a Flight attendent and her Personality makes me feel whole.
@GeekPsychology Well, i can express my creative perspective about how i see the world and capture it. I also do it because I inspire others to see that theirs a bigger world out there for them to explore too. Business wise, I work at my own pace while temporarily gaining emotional connections with them. Im an 11yr Army Vet American living in Germany while my GF{7yrs) is a Flight Attendent, her personality makes me feel complete.
My psychiatrist told me that, since I was constantly changing my interests, I probably had ADHD (never believed him). It's good to know that it's my INFP part talking.
I’d go with change-worker or entrepreneur. Gotta learn how to market yourself tho (and most INFPs struggle with that). Heck, if you learn to market yourself, you can do practically anything.
An elementary teacher worked for me, with job security and a lot of change available within it. Special ed teaching felt great. Harder now. Teachers are paid more in Canada and we get a pension. You can feel the personality of each group and work with that. Small groups were better, of course. I even saw special ed teaching listed as good for INFP’s before I did it. They were right. No commander here and times were a bit easier for me.
I would love to work as a graphic designer. But nowadays all the jobs in the media are given to the extroverted ones. Also social media is getting more and more important. I dont like to work in the media.

No Military for the INFP. My mother married my ESTJ Father (Terrible Marriage) and hated living on the base.
I believe it

Fantastic! Spot on. I need to rewatch this when I'm feeling down because of my job, and I'm not pursuing an adventure or expressing myself.
Great advice Matt... always love your content.

Happy to help.
What are you measuring? And is it the best thing for you?
Great advices, thank you 🙏💖 I loved the part about trying out being a librarian, coz suddenly it sounds kinda interesting, guess that's so INFPish😁💖

I have an odd question. How many INFPs are Sagittarius in the zodiac?
I’m a Leo. July 31
I'm a Leo as well and also Sag Moon and Rising
I'm among them, Sagi Sun in tropical and Sagi Rising in sidereal.

I love Hawaiian shirts it’s all I wear.
I would love to as well! The second I can start wearing sandals, I do.
