Wes, I wanted to thank you for putting this video up. I used it to build my own version with some cabinet style drawers beneath it, with room for a shopvac. Your video and instruction style are excellent! Please keep the shop improvement videos coming. Thanks again!
Wes, thank you, for this channel it makes me feel like I can build things. You make the process seem easy, your teaching methods also show you are very knowledgeable plus you stress safety! Can't wait to try building things, keep up the great work people are watching.
Great video, Wes! This is exactly what I need to build for my workshop. Thank you for taking the time to record all this information. Can't wait for your next video.
I did what someone else suggested. Put the centerpiece flat on the floor. Put the square frame on top and trace the line. Then go to my miter saw and move it over until I lined them up
Beautiful. I'll use your design ideas for the structure. I just wish I had that beautiful smooth concrete floor. My old garage workshop is dirt and gravel, lol
@@frankpezzuco6324 Thks for the suggestion - wouldn't that be lovely, and historic! But, I'm an old lady living on social security and with the price of lumber these days........the floor is at the bottom of the list, lol (pun intended)
Hello Wes, your videos are very well done, the sound is great and you doesn’t speak to fast so I can undersand what you are saying! Also there is no music! My first language is French. I always looking forward for your videos! Keep doing your videos. Happy holidays! Normand
I will adapt this for a photographers printer table. The printer makes up to 20 inch by X so it’s way larger and heavier. A table that will not wiggle and rock would be ideal. I just want a bottom that is like a sled so it can sit on carpet but be movable if needed.
Hi Wes, Just stumbled on your site. What a great build! You are very concise with your descriptions. Also like your shop. I don’t know anything about you but I’m going to guess you are a teacher or instructor of some sort or your parents did a great job raising you or both! Thanks .
Nice video. I have a stupid question. I am building a table that will be 36x48 when done. This will make the cross pieces shorter. How did you measure the length and angle of the cross piece? It wasn't explained how you got the 23.5 deg and length.
You can easily find the angle of that cross piece simply by marking it. Once you have the rectangular sections made, get them perfectly square and then clamp them to the table. Then lay the 2x4 cross piece on top at opposing corners. Now you'll be able to mark the cross piece on each side and draw a line and you have your angle. Even better, use an angle or bevel gauge and match it up with your miter saw and you'll be in business. Cut the cross piece about an 1/8" longer than what you need so you have a little play room to fine tune the fit.
Hi WES, could you tell what is the best sander for raised cabinet doors? I need it get into the curved areas you can not reach ounce you have the panel glued together. Airvantage? or other less expensive?🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🎅 Help anyone❗❗❗❗
Not quite drawers underneath.. What about some simple 'roll-out' boxes? Either use a vacuum to clean them out or drill small (3/4) holes for sawdust to fall through (Just don't store small tools in the boxes!)
Great looking work table, Wes. I wouldn't get too crazy with the weight on the table though. The manufacturers/distributors of these cheap casters GREATLY over estimate the capacity.
Hey there it's Wes...If you have any projects or specific questions you might need help with go to

Thank again Wes , can use one of these. HAPPY HOLIDAYS
Could you please explain the calculation used to determine the angle of the center of your rib piece? Thank you

Ask Wes about building a temporary wooden floor. If anyone can design it, it would be Wes and I’m sure it wouldn’t be that expensive!

Great work as always Wes! Now you gotta build your version of the Paulk workbench/track saw station!

@ MichaelGlennglennimages one option you might want to consider that is very inexpensive and effective is carpet sliders for furniture, works for me.

Just starting the video… I see the riving knife is back. Is there a story to that?
...or rather an elephants skateboard. Very instructional though. That will hold way more than you will ever need.
haha...that's a good one! Thanks for watching, Wes
No glue?
Yes you are right. no glue. Thanks for watching, Wes
I’m a plans guys, any available?
Sorry no plans, something we hope to do soon. Thanks for watching, Wes

LOL, didn't even have time to tell you those screws were WAY too small.
😂
Merry Christmas Wes and a very happy new year. 🎉. Very nice table. I built one similar 2 years ago. Nice.
