Not proud to say it and now take WAY better care of my bikes, but when I had this bike I bought it new. 2020 model and did the break in oil change, and that's it. I had 500 hours on it when I sold it and never even cleaned the air filter. Ran great. I now change oil every ride and air filters every ride on my 17 kx250
Definitely don’t hurt to change oil every ride but I’ll change it about once a month while I’m in there I’ll clean the air filter after every ride seems like a waste of money
Some of the bikes that come out of the factory have them, the ones that stay in Brazil and the ones that come to Australia have headlights, but there are aftermarket ones, im not sure there name but i believe that on "Adventure daily" youtube channel he says where you can get them
You definitely should have started the bike, let it run for a sec and the rechecked half an hour later, because the new oil filter will soak up a bit of the new oil
