I just received this exact model Wolf in blue burst from FedEx last week. It came perfectly setup to my liking plus it sounds & looks awesome without emptying my bank account. I had never heard of Wolf guitars before till one of your videos on them popped up in my recommended feed. Thanks Max for helping people on a budget get more for their money.
I purchased a Wolf LPT 2020 because of Max's review earlier this year and I couldn't be happier with it, playable right out of the box and never needed an upgrade.
Left handers rejoice! I was looking for another 5 string fretless bass and noticed Wolf makes a lefty in nearly every single model of everything they offer, including 3 colors of left handed 5 string fretless bass.
@@DrumAndStrum I bought one of their LPs. Overall decent guitar and I like the construction, but I think the pickups are really weak and muddy. Had to replace them.
I bought the AIO tele and the 335 guitars a couple months ago. I sold my Fender tele shortly after I got the AIO. I have about 30 guitars that are virtually all high end models. These AIO guitars definitely hold their own. Serious bang for the buck!
I love the revised cinematic approach: more mid-range shots while playing. It's no longer just hands and a fret board. It's really you! And I appreciate the cat cameo at 7:28. Great as they are, your videos keep getting better.
Dear Max, I just received the AIO WLP in Red Burst.... holy sh*t this thing is so beautiful. I can't believe the overall value jam packed into this guitar (Grovers, set neck , handwound pickups, gold plated hw, abalone inlay and purfling, custom setup before ship, case, etc.) ! I bought it for my gf but I plan on getting one for myself soon. I just wanted to thank you for making this channel: its amazing!! Easily my #1. From your reviews and lessons to your positive outlooks you make things approachable, fun and informative. Keep rockin dude and if you're ever in Central California, let me know :)
After watching your WLP video a few years ago, I wound up buying a Tele from them. Was really surprised by how nice it was: build quality; playability; looks and value. After watching their 7 Step set-up video and this one, I just ordered the W400. Thanks for your informative videos. Cheers
One thing I love about your reviews is that you run the guitars through an amp most of us can afford. Rather than using a setup made of unobtanium that costs as much as a luxury car. That, and your sense of humor is pretty good, too.
I really appreciate your comment! What's the sense in playing an affordable guitar through a multi thousand dollar amp setup? I try to stick with affordable amps for that exact reason.
At 7:08 I started Headbanging....This was very well done. I have been learning some Spanish/Classical/Flamenco with the hope to carry over that style to electric to just riff and play around on. I will be getting this guitar....Thank you.
I have one of those too Max - and I agree - you don't need to touch a thing on that guitar. Plays like a DREAM too!!! absolutely love it!! It plays JUST like my PRS SE's. And, like you, like it better than the WLP models.
Max is always informative, upbeat, and it is fun to watch his videos and impeccable honest insight’s for both my purchases ! Thanks for your continued postings.
Bought one of these sight unseen based off this demo. Best decision I ever made! The neck pickup is divine! The bridge has a bite to it. Makes this a very versatile guitar with a simple 3-way switch. The neck itself is butter. It invites tomfoolery! Great guitar! Thanks for putting out the good word!
I got one of these except the hollow body from AIO. It was a "B" stock, so even less expensive, I thought I would give it a try. Well it is amazing in the way it looks and plays. Smooth like butter, nice balance, set up perfectly, one of my favorites to play. I give it an A+. I liked it so much I ordered the LP in cherry red burst. After a long delay it showed up, but what a disappointment. The flame top wood is nice but the finish is so dark its hard to see the flames. The neck pickup was sticking up and out of place with the strings laying tight against it. after fixing that the action was too low and buzzing. I don't know what happened with their setup service, but it was a miss on this one. I think they received the guitar from Asia and just shipped it to me without even opening up the box. The setup issues were not hard to fix, but overall I am not a happy customer. So I give AIO a 50% - 50% rating. I am sure that whatever guitar they send Max is perfect but that may not be so true for you.
Just got mine in the natural color; its gorgeous with the gold hardware and pickup covers. The build and setup is perfect. The pickups together or with the neck are very warm. The bridge has just the right amount of brightness and punch to bring out the lead riffs. Love it. Thanks
Great review! I have the klp 45 in blue burst. Fantastic right out of the box. You did a review on that awhile back and that's what made my mind up to get one.
Pretty cool Max. I like that jazzy backing track. The Wolf is super nice. If I didn't have so many guitars I would want one because none of mine are prs style. You're right about getting a guitar that you don't need to mod. Every single guitar I have, I've added new tuners, or bridge saddles, etc. good review man
Hi Max....I recently ordered the Xavier Gold top....555 amazing but it arrived w major damage...the selector switch was punched INTO the body.....they promptly replied and got the replacement GOING...... I am happy with the service they provided.🤠🎸🎶..... I ordered the BITCHIN Paisley hard case......it's beautiful !!
I have one of the original PRS style guitars in quilted green. Mine didn't come with a bone nut, so that was upgraded. I also upgraded the POTs to CTS from the unbranded dime size POTs it had, I also upgraded the tuners to locking tuners (which wasn't due to the Grovers being bad, it's just my preference) and I also upgraded the pickups to a more classic AlNiCo II humbucker set, I thought the Destiny Wound were to muddy for my taste. But that's exactly what it comes down to, is personal taste. I love how it feels and plays and the setup was great, but felt that some of the components needed upgrading. I will also someday upgrade the wraparound tailpiece mine has to something with adjustable saddles. I think the newer one with the stop tailpiece is a huge manufacturer upgrade.

Whole different ball game today, there's a lot of channels with restores and custom work, and all kinds of resources for parts and paint, including the Hot Wheels Red Line Spectraflame paint! Max, you are the man!!! Please never stop doing these videos! You help me so much when I am making a decision on purchasing new gear and I am not the type to spend a ton, as first I don't have it to spend of top dollar name brands and even if I did, I don't think it makes you a better player. I have always been a believer of most of your tone, comes from your hands and your playing style. You are an awesome musician bro! Thanks for the constant inspiration 🤘😎
I bought this Wolf-W400 in red burst. I also own a PRS SE24 in tigerwood. I can say, without hesitation, I prefer the Wolf W400. First, Wolf actually contacted me and asked me how I wanted it set up. It arrived with a perfect setup. Not so with the $1100 PRS. The Wolf sound and quality is amazing and in my humble opinion, the playability is better than the PRS. I also have the PRS copy by Harley Benton, the CST-24. It is also extremely nice (was about $115 cheaper than Wolf after shipping charge) but the Wolf still wins out. All three, the PRS-SE24, Wolf-W400 and HB CST-24 hang on the wall next to each other. All look good and the bodies look identical, as if they were made in the same factory (not saying they are). But the Wolf is my favorite in the looks, quality and playability departments with the HB-CST24 and the real PRS-SE24 tied for second place. In short, if you are into names, buy the $1100 PRS. If you want a great guitar at less than half the price, get the Wolf-W400. It is pretty and you won't be disappointed in the quality.
This video did make me subscribe! It was because on the third video with a review of affordable equipment, I knew that I’m going to get good info if I sub. Thanks! I do have a cheap guitar I had to upgrade some hardware on. It was an Ibanez Artist GAX70 I bought used for $170. I swapped out the tuners for Schaller (sp?) locking tuners and swapped out the bridge pickup for a Seymour Duncan Screamin Demon. That was 25 years ago. I still play it the most out of all my guitars. One pro setup done 12 years ago by a good luthier for $85 also. This guitar looks great though. May have to pick one up.
Got one of those earlier this year. It was the natural finish one. Had to pre order it and wait a couple months. I really do love this guitar. I play it more than the used PRS I got earlier this year. To be fair the PRS needs a bit of a set up. Any how the Wolf W400 sounds great with any half way decent amp. I play mine on a $40 practice amp I got at a pawn shop and still sounds great. The set up was perfect for my taste. Can’t recommend All In One guitar enough. Bought it because channel demo’d the A200 (the W400 predecessor)
I have the Wolf LP and the Wolf TC-1 Telecaster style guitar. Both are EXCELLENT! I have said it before, and I will say it again. For the money, there just is not a better professional line of guitars anywhere on the market. If anyone knows of anything better for the money, I am all eyes and ears. There are other good cost-effective guitars, but not AS good as the Wolfs for the dough. That's my story, and I am sticking to it.
At 429, it's a steal ! My first 'real' guitar was 325, used, in 1976; my second 'real' guitar was 900, in 1984. And I still can't play as good as Max !
Came for the guitar and stayed for the shred! As a lefty i have been eyeing these AIO Wolf guitars on eBay and the Les Paul models look amazing. Hmmm, so many choices. After Eddie died i am looking at modding a Yamaha Pacifica into a Black/White striped tribute to Ed. What to do?
After watching this I had enough confidence to risk the purchase of the AIO TRE W400. I have not been disappointed. The guitar is everything he said. AIO sets it up to your specs, puts it in a GATOR case, puts your gauge strings on. Price right where he said. Love this guitar and the quality service of the folks at AIO. Many thanks to MAX.
I have the same exact guitar, it plays and sounds as good as my expensive guitars. I got it used with Seymour Duncan's Hot Rodded Set for $350. An amazing guitar. Only guitar I play, and I have 52 Guitars.
Saw this video and did research on AIO, I went to the website and they have "left handed guitars"!. Knowing the stimulus is coming, I did what every guitar player fears, I told my wife, mmmmm, well she said ok relief! I bought a B stock red burst with finish splash on the back for 399. They called me next day and offered me a Gator hard shell case for 50.00. An amazing deal, and they will set it up to my specs. Max I wanna thank you for your videos and always being honest up front and informative, and also a great guitar player!
I have that same guitar in cherry burst.. paid $250 brand new shipped.. couldn't be happier.. almost forgot to mention.. also setup as well.. aio is an awesome store
Max, I'm a lefty and a proud owner of both a Wolf S1 and Wolf S2, they are unbelievable guitars and worth easily twice the asking price in quality and setup, Rock on AIO/Wolf. Now that they are offered to lefties, I am looking forward to adding the AIO Wolf W400 Electric Guitar *Left Handed in Red Burst, Blue Burst and Amber, possibly natural as well, yes at least 3 and possibly the 4th as well.
Hi Max, I made a recent discovery. I have long believed that one reason people sing in the shower is that the hard surfaces in a bathroom provide a natural acoustic reverb. Yesterday, I thumped my heal against the floor of my fiberglass shower stall. It sounded pretty good so I did it a few more times, setting off our 125 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback. Hmmmm. This got me to thinkin' it did. So, a little later I grabbed my acoustic guitar and sat on the edge of the stall. It sounded great as a kick bass. In fact the music sounded empty without it. I have an electronic "Porch Board" , but it takes time to set up and I don't also get reverb from it. Anyway, I just thought I'd pass this along in case anyone in your audience would like to try it. Shalom/gw
Hey bro! Happy New Year to you! Once again, awesome video, awesome playing!! I have a Greg Bennett Ultramatic 4 that looks almost exactly the same as in how the body was cut. Hardware wise, it has a Wilkinson tremolo on it. They are so similar.
Great choice, Max! Visually stunning and intonation sounds perfect. My first experience with that body style was from the originating company, a pre '94 in amber burst and although it was a great guitar, I was too scared to touch it for risk of getting a scratch or ding ( at the time, I just blamed it on it just didn't feel right for me), so I sold it. A guitar shouldn't be so expensive that you're too scared to play it!
Have two AIO WOLF guitars and both are top notch. These guys perform the best setup you will ever get. It's included in price. I have the WLP 750 les paul and the TC1 Walnut tele. Remember the best guitar is limited by setup. AIO Wolf are the best
I've had the Wolf LP and it's good. As for the PRS version, I just got a real PRS SE custom Laurel Burl 2019 like new for $350 on FB Market place. There are plenty of SE's out there in the $4-$500 range used in great condition. So in reality, the best value in one of these might be to get an SE used.

Hi! I just order one of this AIO guitar online. I tried one second hand in a local store and WOW. I buy the model: AIO Wolf W400 TRE
Love that tone and that slinky jam, you sound really good doin' that stuff as well!
Thank you!
Looks and sounds great. Nice playing too man.
Thanks a lot!
Red burst, blue burst
What's it going to be?
I've got both
So don't ask me!
You rule!
I LOVE the sound of those pickups!!! Would be totally willing to buy those alone....in an F spaced version (I'm partial to my Floyd Rose's).
What to do?
Damn! That Guitar really is that beautiful....and Yes I did Subscribe. The Budget guitar reviews are especially welcome so Thank you.
Thanks just lookin for my second new guitar thanks for helping me 👍
Great demo, Max. You are one hell of a guitar player. You make it look effortless.
Thanks a lot!
Max does great evaluations. These days.. being able to buy an affordable axe after hearing a critique is Great.
Thanks Max
I am currently learning on a Chinese Strat I bought a out 8 years ago and never played. But once I learn to play this might be my upgrade. Thanks
Go for it!
Does this company offer a strat? If so, how does it play? I'm in love with this blueburst baby
I have that same guitar and color, it's really amazing. It came with Seymour Duncan's. Mine was slightly used, $350. No brainer.
Great deal!
Nice playing Glenn
Cool review dude... I want one
Shalom/gw
He said the guitar was so beautiful that it probably made me want to subscribe to this UA-cam channel. Needless to say, I'm subscribed.
Hey bro! Happy New Year to you! Once again, awesome video, awesome playing!! I have a Greg Bennett Ultramatic 4 that looks almost exactly the same as in how the body was cut. Hardware wise, it has a Wilkinson tremolo on it. They are so similar.
Sweet was waiting for this one Max
I bought the Les Paul model and I love it !
You can get a PRS se 24 standard for $499 new and probably cheaper used .
I’ve been drooling over those..the natural one...for awhile! 😍
Big problem though, they look like PRS's and they look crap.
i would put the AIO SC 77,the ebony fingerboard and just solid mahogany are game changers..great guitars
I have one in natural finish and I love it
Whats going on dude how r u super cool guitar and you play AWESOME 😃
This guy looks like if Slash, John Cena, and Mark Rober we’re turned into one person
That set-up process video is amazing. I can't believe you get all of that extra work and still get the guitar for under $500.
It's above and beyond for sure! I wish more companies would do that. AIO sets a high standard for sure.
Very nice, sir!
EXCELLENT Santana-inspired playing, Good Sir!
Thanks!
@@GuitarMAXMusic, you're very welcome! And thank you for all the fine content and humor!
Would like to see this compared to the entry level prs. Very similar pricing.
This one is $429. The PRS SE us around $800
@@binhck se standard 24 is $499.
Hi Max, great content as always! I think it would be very cool if you made a video about the top quality guitars you own. Keep playing man!
Great suggestion!
That is a gorgeous guitar for the price looks like a PRS and sounds excellent
Sold!!
I feel like a kid in a candy store as I watch your videos on electric guitars .
Just subscribed looking forward to my KAS 90 wolf AIO guitar off the back of your video hope I an make mine play as good as yours🎸🎸🎸🎸👌👌🙌🙌
What kind of neck profile? Slim tapered? Chunky?
It's slimmer than my G&L Strat or my Taylor 214 CE, but not as slim as my telecasters (MK and IYV)
