hey coach i was wondering like i’m having this issue where when i do a release like i can’t get my back foot forward like i have to step backwards in order to gain ground and when ever i try to get my front foot forward it feels so delayed so i was curious any way to fix it because my reciever coach is getting mad at me so i don’t know how to fix it you know
So I would suggest to put more weight onto your front foot in your stance and potentially widen your back foot closer to the sideline- I’ve seen that give guys a lot to success eliminating the false step. It might feel uncomfortable at first but I believe it can help
Another thing is should you do strength workouts 3 days a week and should you do 3-5 days of speed workouts

Yeah that’s solid- you should just be able to react off it. Like if the DB takes away your initial plan you should react and change what you do
