When Gabie talked about how Josh can receive compliments happily, I feel like it is more like a huge culture difference. In Asia, saying no to a compliment is a manner or a humble action, meanwhile it is kinda rude in uk( as in the 6 years I stayed in the uk, I felt so). Comparing how I am expected to say no, I am not when someone compliments me that I am pretty, while in the UK, you normally just say thank you to such compliments.

I thought this exact same thing! Also as children, it's very rare for Asian parents to compliment you or say 'good job' or 'I'm proud of you' whereas British and American parenting seems to include this way of building up a child's self-esteem, so it probably feels more natural to a British person when someone says something good about them and they know how to respond, but us Asians don't!

I hope you guys realize you’re part of a healthy good minority. So many marriages are crap in my life, including my divorced arranged-marriage parents, and I admit that trauma causes me to think twice, triple, one hundred times about marriage and refusing to take part of it, but I think it helps to see couples such as yourself knowing it’s not perfect but there are people who CAN communicate and love each other.

I grew up and I am still growing up and my dad and mum show me long distance can work if you really love each other but also if you have God in your relationship, they always pray for help from Jesus everytime and also cover each others weakness and also make sure that if they argue they make up in the next call or dont talk about it if it's not important. But I see that the forgive each other. So one thing I think is important is putting God in the relationship, knowing Jesus and knowing that you are loved. It's running because my dad said God spoke to him about my mum as his wife and they were into acting and where also put as wife and husband in all the drama so it was a cute little story Jesus did. But I think if you believe you can have a good marriage but you do need Jesus because God was the one who made marriage so put his first, have a relationship with God and not a religion. With God truely you learn to love God, love others and love your self. So many people are religious and still dont know God.

쉬라해주는게 왜이리 좋은지 모르겠어요. 위로받는 기분이에요. 저 대안학교다니다가 일반학교가서 처음에 전과목 7~9등급찍고 3년간 매일 야자하고 주말에도 학교가서 공부해가지고 1~4까지 올렸거든요. 근데 결국 수능 망해서 학은제가고... 수능 끝나고 2주쉬고 편입준비하고.. 학은제 방학때는 알바 3개잡고 돈벌고 결국 편입재수하는 중인데 2~3개월 전부터 몸이 안좋아져서 링거맞으면서 연명중이에요. 이제 원래 하던대로 공부하면 다음 날에 아무것도 못하고 잠만자더라고요. 즐겁게 봤다가 마지막에 울컥하네요. 고마워요 언니♡
