Ann, I love your use of origami in ceramic clay, what an inspiring idea! I am endlessly amazed at what human beings can make from clay. It has never failed to fill me with delight and wonder. I love your work, it shows your constant relationship with shape and form in all its variety. I think that is what makes your work so beautiful, graceful, and practical all at the same time. I especially loved the floral shaped dishes, and my other favourite was the graceful triangular dish. You are so gifted. Thank you for sharing your work with us. God bless you.
Really like the use of Origami in pottery design. Your video strengthen that feeling. The last piece reminded me of a dory having been cut in half. Very neat! Cheers...Freddie
I just love your videos! I will be trying all three. You give the best directions! You are so generous to share your talent with us!! Thank you!! Chris
Thank you Anne for this very interesting video. I love these forms you made. Maybe I'll give them a try once my garage studio gets warm enough for me to work there. Yesterday the temp there was around 43°F, and far too cold.
These look amazing I was looking for inspiration and ideas for my own project at school and I think that these are just awesome!! You also make it look so easy and it has such a clean finish!
Those are great! I really like the second bowl and if you did elongate the end of the third bowl into a spout it would look just like an ancient oil lamp.🐝🤗❤️
Stunning. In general, how long do videos take? I mean this one goes from raw clay to glazed piece with sauce! Do you have a very rapid firing schedule or do videos just take you a long time? Or both!?
No short cuts. We experiment on the weekend, shoot video on Mon / Tues, edit and record scripts on wed / Thursday, (while bisquing and glazing), shoot final shots Friday and publish on Saturday am. It’s a labor of love really cuz the pay ain’t so great 😉. We remain inspired by folks like you that watch.
@@LittleStreetPottery I'm sure it must be! Your videos never leave anything wanting. Informative and fun! Thank you for the effort because they bring joy for certain!
Thank you for sharing I'm excited to try these. How big are the templates you used? Particularly for the flower stacking bowls and triangle condiment bowl? The templates download as pictures and will print at whatever size I want. I would love some advice on where to start.
Hello! Thank you for your video! When you roll your clay out at the beginning, do you wedge your clay first or do you cut it straight from the blog? Greetings from Luxembourg
0:21 hello! Thank you for the link to the patterns. This will be my first time doing such a project and using a pattern. Do I just print the pattern? Or use it as a guide in making my own? I feel like it’s a silly question, but maybe not? Thanks!
Aloha, love these pieces, so beautiful, I checked out the templates but don't know how to make them. There are no measurements. How do i make the templates please.
We occasionally sell pieces from the videos so if there is one from that work you are interested let me know. Otherwise, everything I do for customers is all custom work. (I have a video on that). Either way, If you are interested email me at anneruel7@gmail.com Thanks!
Smart origami ceramic plate ideas. Thanks for your lovely video.
Once again you have raised my curiosity for what I can look for for inspiration!! Love your videos! Thank you!
OMG. Fabulous. Thank you for sharing your beautiful techniques to our pottery community.

Thanks Freddie. Jim's first wife was named Dory so I'm not opposed to cutting a dory in half.

Thank you Ann, your amazing. You've given me much to think about.
Wonderful! I love all of your work, the two of you inspire my relationship goals. ❤
Oh Thea...its a match made in heaven! Especially when Jim thinks he's Martin Scorsese and screams "CUT, DO IT AGAIN!!!"
I love your videos. Just out of curiosity, what did Eddie the Walrus whisper to you ?
Sorry...my lips are "sealed". :)

The stacking bowls are 4, 6 and 8" across...but you can make them as you like!
Thank you for your generosity, I loved learning this technique❤️

Another great informative video with your gentle voice.
What flavour Haagen Das is Eddie offering?
😋 chocolate of course!
Beautiful!
I am officially inspired!
Great ideas! FYI there were some hiccups not edited out of the part where you made the triangle bowl 😁
Don't tell her, that was my favorite part!
I think that was on purpose.
I really enjoy your videos! Question - do you use silicone or plastic pastry mats?
Silicone - but unable to find ones like I have lately.
I love learning from you, thank you for sharing. x
Hello! Thank you for your video!
When you roll your clay out at the beginning, do you wedge your clay first or do you cut it straight from the blog?
Greetings from Luxembourg
Hello Luxembourg! I wire the clay right off the block when I make slabs. Thanks for watching!
These are very cool!
Love the hiccups! I’m saving for a kiln. How long can leather dry pieces be stored?
So many variables like humidity etc...I've been able to do it for a week at times. Damp box can help too...we have a vid on that. Thanks.
0:21 hello! Thank you for the link to the patterns. This will be my first time doing such a project and using a pattern. Do I just print the pattern? Or use it as a guide in making my own? I feel like it’s a silly question, but maybe not? Thanks!
Yes, correct - most folks just print the pattern and size with their printer / computer to what they need. Good luck!
I love your pottery ANNE❤ Beautiful

How thick are you rolling your slabs?
