idk why everyone is dissing out mattel. this was one of there very first times making halo figures. i think aesthetically they look great and they really capture there in game counter parts. the articulation is actually fairly decent in my opinion better than McFarlane. most of us is going to display them on shelves so a lot of these problems are irrelevant but some of us use them for different purposes like myself (stop motion). give mattel some time and im sure the can fix some problems.

Found Fred, Linda, and Kelly at Target on clearance for $5.98 each. Bought all 3 since it seemed like a good price. Opened the Fred up first, and I completely agree with everything you mentioned in your review. Can't complain too much for what I paid, but I would not be happy if I had bought them for full price.

Ok, I have an idea as to how this happened. We all know that every toy line will have at least one dud, right? Maybe what happened was at the factory, something went wrong with the molding and they didn't notice it. I know that doesn't excuse anything but I really like this line. I loved the Joyride figures and was mad when McFarelane took over. I had so many QC issues with them and therefore I stopped buying them. So, I wouldn't worry yet. Unless this occurs again, I think this wave was just a molding malfunction.
I do have the wobbly torso but the rest of the figure is solid my pegs do fit, i do have the same problem with the shoulder not plugging in but my figure is pretty solid not like how your flops around
You would think that they would know just how bad they were doing with these when you realize that Mega Construx/Bloks is doing so much better, with their well detailed sets and little figures loaded with great articulation for their scale.
if they Do remake blue team, they better improve the figure's flaws, and make each figures removable helmet. maybe Mattel could predict John's face. they should use comics of blue team's face.

Very unfortunate and I truly hope they course correct before they hit the iceberg. Like yourself I'm a long time Halo fan and we simply deserve better. Yeah, very disappointing. They totally went in for kids, ignoring long time Halo fans who actually spend most money on Halo stuff. This is where they are getting most money from. And yet, they deliver us toys for small kids. Halo BARBIES. I wish they went for quality, for NECA. This is why I haven't been fan from beginning, when I first saw those Mattel figures. I really WANT them to deliver us quality and nice stuff...
We can only hope that overall veteran collector feedback will weigh in on this and create some change in the designs, because as it stands, Mattel is just dropping the ball hard on it's first line, and that is pretty awful. NECA would have been a blessing, I actually collect a lot of figures from them on other favorite franchises, and seeing the lack of QC and overall flaws in these figures, it just makes me wish NECA would have been the go-to group.

+unrelenting Dawn, 343i has ignored those people for the games so it only makes sense for them to ignore us for the collectibles at this point. if halo 6 revolves around hcs and micro transactions like halo 5 does, halo will certainly die off. theyre totally missing what made halo great and trying to make it mainstream by emulating other franchises. such a shame.
