Great video and beautiful stretch of river. Well done on the pb. My pb's 5lb 14 (river Tees). I always joke that if only I hadn't been so stingy with the groubd bait, it might've just topped 6. Not much beats big winter chub in prime conditions like those two you got.
@@ralpabetical thank you! Haha just a couple more mouthfuls and it might off been. Well done on your pb! Its brilliant fishing aint it, getting out for sunrise finding where they hold up 👌🏻. Thanks for the commenting 👍🏻
Indeed! It's a rush that is hard to find elsewhere, it's the knowing of something unknown connected to a rod, line & hook in your hands, the thump that travels through you as it struggles to be free & the elation of the final netting. Just the best.
5lbs 15oz....theres a lot of anglers out there who would have told a fib and said it was 6lbs,so fair play to you,its a cracking chub 👍👍👍 My pb is 5lbs exactly, caught on the Nene, rolling luncheon meat but I'm as happy as a pig in shte, catching chub of any size. Well done again 👍👍👍
@@Nick-01536 thank you, Nick! I thought that exactly too, but I would only be lying to myself. All it is, is the right place, right time and one day it will be a chub of 6lb. I’d be over the moon rolling meat and catching a 5lb chub, well done mate. As you say, any size chub will make us happy 👌🏻👍🏻
Great chub, the rivers are not full of 7/8 pounders, as some would believe. Credit to you for keeping it honest and picking up the vibe of chub fishing intimate rivers.
@ thank you, Andrew. These little intimate rivers are so much fun, theres so many surprises when roving and get to see some lovely wildlife on the way 🍂🎣
Lovely job, great audio with all of the environment, really feels like we're sat behind you like expectant school boys! Please, could you mention which rods you use, either during your presentation or listed in the blurb underneath - specialist fishing is always a grey area for tackle choice. Cheers fella, tight lines!
