Could you explain to me how -8y was multiplied by 4x squared? I thought we could not multiply numbers that do not have the same variables. Am I missing anything? Thanks for your time.
Alright this is a real fact. If you are not wanting to face the truth, skip this comment. Most of what we learn in algebra is actually useless in real life. The only two types of math that are actually useful are statistics and the Pythagorean Theorem. If you think I'm wrong, try using polynomials in a real life situation. I wonder where that will go.
Uh nice except i got bored , but yeah I guess make it more boring huh. Box up. Wow! so creative. The box method. Not the foiled box, but boring box method ha. no wonder its mashed up.
This is so helpful. The way my teacher has been showing me is leaving me utterly confused.
XD tf
What was the way your teacher taught you? What was the method?
Foil?
Thanks a lot! You helped me out sooooo much!
Thank you Mrs. I , this helped you linking to this, if anyone else is part of the class and sees this reply
ahhhhh!!!!!!😂❤❤❤❤❤ thank you

Hi maam in multiplication it can ..just multiply the numerical coeffients and copy the variables
bro -8y x 4x is equal to -8 * y * 4 * x, and as multiplication is commutative, -8*4 = -32 and y*x = yx, -32 * yx becomes
-32yx / -32xy
Thank you so much for this! this video is my reminder for my upcoming finals exam tomorrow, once again, thank you!
Me Too!
Thank you so much You explained it so well
Is it copy the bigger sign? (At the box) or is negative+positive just equal to negative sign?
Where could I use this in real life?
This helpful to me and everyone else
Can i use F.O.I.L. here?
Yes, that’s the easiest method for me
nice!
LOVE IT!
This helps more than school
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH
In 2021 thank you for this
We call your box method a lattice method, just sharing
@Trevor Armstrong I get flashbacks when I hear that last word
our family loves mash up math, please keep posting.
+miss trish Thanks! We're only getting started so stay tuned :)
