Each map has its own campaign through which you become the owner of your own construction company. As you start from scratch assisted by your mentor Hape, you get bigger and more interesting jobs to grow your company and expand your fleet. You’ll also meet different clients that will challenge you. Tasks like renovating the harbor area to attract more tourists or helping the struggling inner city to recover will demand all your skills.
On the European map inspired by the idyllic cities of Southwest Germany, you’ll find rolling hills and beautiful riversides. In Friedenberg your mission is to help design solutions for renewable energy and improve the city’s infrastructure during the campaign. Aside from these larger jobs, you’ll get assorted tasks to test out every bit of equipment that you earn. Take pride in your accomplishments as you ride through the city!

Drae is simply demonstrating the minimalist side parking of the future at the start of this video. He is a chaotic visionary and that's how we like him....
In all seriousness some of the automatic parking garages could actually start doing this by tying the cars down. It could actually be a thing. As long as you remember to take your mcdonalds cup from the cup holder lmao!
@@netts2315 cars would have to be built with this in mind it would damage and or alter the configuration of most parts suspending them sideways.
But this is none the less a innovate idea that could be done.
@@memeberfunk2731 true, but lets not forget that chevy did once transport cars nose upwards on trains back in the 60s
@@memeberfunk2731 I don't know man, strapping the car down on all of the bottom suspension arms or just the subframe on the front and back should be enough to keep the car secure. Except if the car is rusted to high hell, lol.

I work in excavation, and the quickest way to dig a foundation hole is to actually doze it all from one side to the other. So, you were technically doing it right Drae!
ok I feel like people that work in excavation site are just not recognized for the backbreaking work they need to do sometimes.
@@briggan3116 agreed. If you ever had to manualy dig and frame a 3ft wide trench you also understand this pain.
@@briggan3116 it's hard sometimes. But I love running the big machines around. It went from a job to a passion very quickly lol
P5rops to the devs that did the dirt model.
The texture on the side wall, and it's consistency all the way around and lack of seams, looks amazing, and as someone who's done procedural generation with meshes(even though the dirt is using voxels) I can appreciate all the work that went into this.
It must be hard always putting out videos regardless of how your day is going. I come here with all sorts of moods and always leave with one 😌 Thanks Drae!

I know hard mode is a pain, but I think its more interesting.
The Doosan Articulated Dump Truck has a much larger capacity, a full load of soil sold back to the gravel plant gets you 13k, the Kenworth gets you 10k at most
5:50 the way you drive and wreck stuff it prolly is cheaper with teh per day rentals ;)
should do a hard job with your friends and all work on the same thing, i think that that is what the hard is for

Been playing this game for quite awhile, you can literally use the bulldozer for anything. You need a trench bulldozer, need a hole bulldozer, need to excavate dirt bulldozer.
I'd love to see a long episode if this where he does one big project from start to finish

If you use the dump truck with dirt. You can directly sell it through the buy wheel, for around 5k for a full truck load.
Hard mode would be great with ur buddy's it would still take long I am assuming but u guys could do a podcast type video while playing

In the european version your second mission in the main campaign is building a hotel takes like 2 hours+ and it was extremely fun
its relatively hard to make a GPS system in a game. in general, the most common system is calculating every single possible way to get there, and picking the quickest. allowing illegal driving seriously increases the amount of calculation it takes to do that.
Also real GPS don't send you against a one way street

If you get dump truck and fill it with dirt,then teleport to gravel plant and sell the dirt you will get 10k per load and on average you get 15 to 25 loads per job

It would me excruciating but extreamly pleasing to finish the jobs yourself,
And would provide quite the challenge to accurately dig and fill land rather relying on it framing its self when complete
It already has. You change the "Job Scope" to high in the settings

Is this construction simulator or plumber simulator? Cause all I see when I look at the character model is a skinny Chris Pratt.
Only difference is it's a "D" on the hat instead of the "M".
It is just weird that the devs have not implemented some sort of AI teamworkers walking around or helping (at least pretending) out on the construction site, this would have helped tons with the immersion. The dirt physics are also a complete disgrace, there should obviously be a way to doze the dirt away and back into the hole once done. The game holds your hand in almost every possible way and never really challenges the players.

You think this "dig" was a lot? Try doing the parking garage in the hard level. Took me 9 hours to dig the massive hole required at the beginning of the project. NINE HOURS! :|

I find it a bit odd it took you this long to rent the "Sports car". This series frustrates me while Drae gets frustrated. It very frustrating.

@@chriscantrell9012 construction is apart of architecture.... its building in general, there is no creative freedom or the ability to play the game how the player wants everything is pre-planned and linear.... very boring... the whole game is pretty much a giant "tutorial" it doesn't give the player the ability to "freely" build what they want... its trash
@@thebigXgaming construction is building by plan or blueprint. The Architech is a person who is qualified to design buildings and to plan and supervise their construction.
This is more, architech designs building, you the construction worker follow the plan laid out.
