LOVE this game! Now just imagine this combined with a world like GTA (Or Mafia, or any other crime game like these titles). Build your own 'legitimate' city, funded by the massive crimes you commit in the already excisting city and building your own empire. Almost like a roleplaying server, but not too serious. A place where people can choose to be criminal or a legitimate construction worker! I love thinking about these concepts, does anyone know a subreddit where people talk about this type of thing??
A detail that I noticed REGARDING A SIMILARITY BETWEEN GTA 5 AND CS; if you're running in Construction Simulator and you immediately run in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION, it does the same camera and character movement as you would see in GTA 5! COULD CONSTRUCTION SIMULATOR BE LORE TO GTA 6?!
Drae, you can buy and sell materials straight from your machines menu. You don't have to travel all the way to selling/buying point. Also you can fast travel and I know it costs some money but after 1 big contract you won't have to worry about such costs and you can finish them without leaving construction sites
Pro Tip: When excavating a spot, dump it into the dump truck and "empty" it by selling the soil via the context wheel for easy thousands if you are hurting for money
Hey Drae, I have a suggestion for the flow of your videos. I was thinking it would be fantastic if instead of hard cuts when doing activities (like the bulldozing at the start of the video) Maybe do a 5 or 10 second time lapse or something, that way we would get to see you doing the job without having to watch an extra 10 mins of footage. Just an idea as I always wish I could see you do everything :)

Also the best purchases I've used the most so far is the dump truck, cement truck, dozer, crane, and excavator. Also as you get onto bigger jobs, I suggest also purchasing a trailer and semi with crane attached

The articulated dump truck is better for just transporting materials, like when you are excavating, since it can hold more. Also, if you want to do more of the work, change the 'Job Scope' to high on the screen that you see all the tasks (before you accept the contract). You will also get paid more for the extra work, for most jobs at least.

You can use the interaction menu where you change modes to automatically fill concrete and gravel vehicles without having to go to the plant! Hope this helps!
Watching you pour concrete but not extend and turn the chute is painful to watch lol, but also very entertaining. Also, pressing 'V' shows you want you need to do and how much of it you have left.
The other building materials dealer is right next to the housing estate. It's a lot closer when you don't have to do the winding roads from the starting town.
Just thought I'd say this in case you see it. But the tailgate on the truck lifts with the bad. So if the bed is up AT ALL the gate will be open depending on how far up the bed is.

You should up the job difficulty, so you get more money and more details to work on

You can rotate items before placing them by pressing left shift + left arrow/right arrow key

A recommendation I have for anyone is if you guys are getting a tractor (semi trailer engine) then buy the one with the crane

you should buy a dozer instead since flattening the terrain is a pretty important thing in all constructions
@drae the contract length determines how much you earn and complexity. On high you have like almost no forgiveness on % completion.
