I've done a lot of real-life yoga classes and online videos as well, and nowhere before have I seen this level of thorough explanation of how to actually do poses correctly. I don't think it's as helpful if the teacher just adjusts your body without explaining, whereas with your instructions I can actually self-correct and self-improve. I wish more yoga teachers would go there as part of their classes ✨ Thank you!
The tip about pushing your hips forward and your feet back is so helpful! I feel like I can never get the alignment just right but this will help me make a better mental checklist when in the pose.
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. I can do this pose with less than perfect form fairly easily, but very few tutorials are as clear as yours in explaining what I need to do to improve my form and what restricts me from achieving this.🙏
Thanks a lot for this tutorial, guys. I weigh 110kg and i have difficulty to be standing completely upright, but with these tips, there will be definitely some changes.
Started Ashtanga 6 months ago and this pose was just added to my practice (along with the rest of the shoulder poses). After 3 breaths, my left hand and forearm started tingling more and more. They remained numb for the rest of the day! I’m nervous about doing it again but based on your excellent explanation, I think I might be collapsing on my neck (and spinal cord), and will work on that. Thank you!!
Excellent! and I need to use blankets under shoulders for support. Yes, I am an Iyengar practitioner and just love quality instruction regardless of our respective tradition! You guys are rock stars! Thanks!
Lovely video. I stopped doing this pose several years ago, as I always came away with a sore neck… I will give this a try and maybe bring it back into my routine ❤
Thank you - i used this to teach a very large YTT group in CR - wonderful tips for helping my students to learn to be able to do this quickly and SAFELY! I love your gift to the yoga world of your deep knowledge - PRANAM ::
Dear David and Jelena thank you very much for this new video, so useful as always. I am so grateful and l follow you every time. GOD BLESS YOU. Cecilia
Always listen to a woman on her period. Such good advice!, thanks for a great tutorial, I personally struggle with reading about alignment and ashtanga principals and your lessons are very helpful in furthering my practice. Thank you for awesome videos, and keep the Connie content coming.
thank you so, so, so much for your excellent videos!!! I am watching the alignment tutorials on the primary (half) series asanas religiously many times to practice at home in a healthy way. If you could come around to matsyasana and uttana padasana also, I would appreciate it a lot because i am unsure about the placement of the head and the position/feeling in the back. thank you a million for this amazing resource! 🙏💟 you guys are wonderful!!!
Jelena, da li mozete jedan video posvetiti znojenju? Zanima me iskustvo i saveti profesionalaca u situacijama proklizavanja, ispadanje iz poze usled znoja, nekad bude tesko uhvatiti palac itd. Mozda je smesna tema ali dosta cesto mi pravi problem pri vezbanju. Od velike ste mi pomoci pri samostalnom prakticiranju joge, hvala puno.
Hello there, Thank you so much for your informative videos, they are superb. However in this one, I wanted to see how you came out of the pose safely, as I often see people just throwing themselves down in relief? Any tips. Linda
Wise words! Thanks for the tutorial, teachers.😉🤍🤍 I suck at this pose because my shoulders are tight, but I’ll keep trying to perfect my Salamba sarvangasana! 🙃
thanks for the video! and thanks for the yoga drishti point instruction.... I really improved my downward dog by using the drishti point you regogmended in the downward dog video.... cheers smile
Love the quality content on the channel! I liked the depth and detail, very helpful to deepen a practice and make it yours. I would love to see more in-depth explanation on specific asanas, how to get into the pose correctly, what signs and sensations to look for in the body to confirm that you are doing it right. Especially if you cannot attempt the full pose yet, due to strength or flexibility constraints, you can still do the baby versions of them with confidence that you are doing it right. A lot of the time I hard to follow a fast paced and physically challenging Ashtanga sequence, knowing that there are specific poses that I am not doing completely correctly, but not having the knowledge or know-how of how to self correct in those positions.
Great tutorial, thank you so much for this! Although I have been practising for years I think I never understood shirshasana completely till now. Maybe you could make a tutorial on Navasana as well..?
❤thank you very much for your tutorials 🙏.You are great teachers. Can you make some tutorial about breathing?Alignment-bandha-breath?Chest breathing? Diafragmal movement...What is useful. Thanks 🙏❤️
Thank you, useful. May I ask Jelena, what brand is your top? It's so hard to find a decent crop top with a high enough neckline so that you don't fear your chest falling out in inversions!
Why would anyone be offended by props? I heard ty landrum talk about "etiquette breach" and matty ezraty being hated because she allowed props. I find it too harsh

I use at least 3 folded blankets at the top of my mat for my shoulders and it helps keep my neck natural curve. Most people would benefit from that.
Love these tutorials . Very helpful, Thank you ❤

Yay! I would love to see the floating lotus pose too!
You are just so funny and uplifting and a joy, really, to watch and to learn from! Thank you and greetings from Finland!
I wait eagerly for your videos. They are always very helpful. Greetings from Lebanon!

Brilliant thank you!
You have a 2 hour workshop in your site on key alignment
May I know which Asana involved?

Mr. Connie !
Hello...are you taking online classes?
Mr. Kani!
I always do this when my nose is constipated.
Why would anyone be offended by props? I heard ty landrum talk about "etiquette breach" and matty ezraty being hated because she allowed props. I find it too harsh
Aver cuando hacéis clases en español, 🙏🙏🙏💜💜💜💜
