"Is it better to be last in the fast group, or higher up in the slower group?" Honestly, it's which ever group you can find someone of your own caliber of racing so you can have some racing like those few laps in C2 you did with the other green/yellow car. THAT is why I race, looking for close competition. On that note, I just ran an Off-Road Carpet Race here last weekend (just posted it) and had a race just like that with one of my own friends. We travelled to Vancouver Island here for a big race (200+ vehicles, 85 racers). My 2nd and 3rd C Main rounds had a number of tight laps with one of the guys from my own club. We also did 3 Q's, and 3 M's. Best 2 Q's position you for the M's (A-F), best 2 M's sort out for the podiums per group. Everyone got to run 3 M's (usually they have just the A's do it, but then the slower racers are just sitting around after they do their run for the day). We also do something called "Bump Ups" where in round 1 of the mains the top 2 drivers are given the option to "bump" to the next higher main, which a few racers did in my group: 2 bumped into my group (from the D main), and 1 bumped out of my group (to the B main). Thanks for sharing, it's awesome watching those "bumble bees" buzzing around the track. You'll find those tighter lines more consistently eventually. Fhuz oot!
Yes I agree Fhuz just a nip and tuck close race is what we all crave at any level 👍👍👍 So Fhuz on tour?? Will check the video this week now I'm home from hols buddy thanks as always for watching and commenting its always appreciated 👍👍👍
