My goal was to shoot a short clip that was lit entirely by moonlight. We waited for the moon to become almost full and on the night of June 25th we set out to explore a cost in Lemnos island in Greece and see what we could find.
The entire shoot took place between 12:30 AM - 2:00 AM.
The whole clip was shot in 4K @ 23.976 fps with the crop sensor (35mm) enabled many times to bring the objects closer. I used variable settings of ISO between 25.600 and 32.000 while the F was set between f/1.4 and f/2.
It was literally dark enough that you could only see the sea and a few details with bare eyes.
I did a very light color grading, no noise reduction at all, or sharpness.
All of the clips shot in the Cine2 picture style setting.
Sony has done an amazing job in creating this camera especially after seeing the quality that has come out of this camera.
    Song used:
    Rosentwig - Hiraeth
    Gear used:
    Sony A7S II
Metabones EF to Sony E - T Cine Smart Adapter
    Sony 28mm f/2
    Samyang 85mm f/1.4
Thanks to Stavros, Mike and Pella (PCP).
